I always wanted a game with Babylon 5 "physics" for space dog fights.
(Independence War) I-War and I-War 2 Edge of Chaos. 1997 & 2001 respectively. Tough as nuts Space Sim Shooty games. I-War 1 has an amazing intro too.

I-War was notable for its use of Newtonian physics; unlike other popular space combat games such as Wing Commander and Descent: Freespace, the flight model is subject to inertia caused by a ship's mass and the absence of drag in outer space. In addition to common flight dynamics, vessels can move and accelerate in all directions: up, down, forward, backwards and sideways.

Remember that time when certain website that loves to post that kind of article, posted that kind of pornographic content.
I don't think I'd be hard for them to do publish that.
It's all spin in the end, when you're doing a hit piece on a store's advertising policy. Build a website or use the tweeties if you want to promote how many stores your game can be bought from. If you've EGS been exclusive, having to promote yourself should be old hat.

Happy Monday and good morning fellow PC fanaticals

It was the weekend. I played a few games.

Co-Op
-Don't Starve Together: My friends and I are pretty shit at it. To make it worse, I was the only one who had spent ANY time actually crafting things and playing single player. Our run essentially ended on the 11th day, as these dire wolf things killed us all. My brother was 'intelligent' enough to pick a character that could only eat meat so he died early and often and spent a quarter of his resources on the 'tell tale heart' items for when he died.
-Sea of Thieves: They other peeps lost interest in 15 minutes after we sailed toward a large flaming skull in the sky and our helmsman died in a volley of cannonball shrapnel.
-Left 4 Dead 2: No teamwork from anyone else and it was clear that neither of them had played this in years. I've got 100 hours plus so for me it was like returning to an old friend.
-Deep Rock Galactic: I missed out on this but my brother had the audacity to say he was bored and he felt that the missions were either too hard or too easy.

Question for you all: The three of us all have experience with Diablo 3. My brother on his xbox 360, myself with my ps3 and my friend when he visited either of us back when we played. Torchlight II has been compared to Diablo. Viable option for co op in the future? Especially since the other guys are never satisified with ANYTHING???? UGH.

Single Player
Ori and the Will of the Whisps:
Comes with gamepass, it's beautiful, controls like a dream!
Mass Effect Andromeda: Is it me or is this game longer than Mass Effect 2??

It's also way more prescient than we'd have known at the time. Wife, two friends and I have been playing it once a week for the past couple months and its great fun.

Erm, couldn't say as i rinsed the heck out the game and had a stupid number of hours in it. I just wanted to say, yay! Someone else playing Andromeda! It has some problems but patching sorted a lot of issues and it scratches that Mass Effect itch for me.

Also, it sounds like you're going to have a nightmare finding a co-op game to play with your crew but i suspect when a game clicks you'll all be playing for weeks. Seems like that sort of crowd. Good luck!

Is the first one any good?
The gameplay is very basic but the art, story and character writing are super charming. Great localization.
Production value wise it's the most modern Alicesoft title that English speakers have access to, so that makes it a decent starting point if you happen to be into the kind of games they make.
As Kvik said, avoid if somewhat violent sexual assault scenes bother you.

Obligatory

The MS FlightSim launcher (the one that downloads the game, not Windows Store) has no interest in downloading the game. Just "Please wait..." and nothing seems to happen.

Hope it's just a hurdle MS tries to fix.

Holy crap this is nice, and predates both BSG and The Expanse by quite a lot, doesn't it?

I love doing that in SC when approaching a specific destination from quite a ways away, counting how much time it took to get to max speed, then rotating and decelerating with your back to it. It's not entirely necessary but it does feel right that it's the optimal way to do it :).

I was a huge fan of I-War 2 for the newtonian physics, among the many reasons to love that game.

Also, given our past conversations I think ISee is aware of the general games available in the space sim genre :p.

Yet another EGSclusive early access game:
Mortal Shell boasts responsive combat and gorgeous visuals, but it's let down by rote level design, poor storytelling, and a general unfinished feel.

Im actually dissapointed that the game is quite short, read 8 hour in one review.

By the time Im ready for the game it should be on Steam so no problem waiting.

Imagine downloading a game, but only getting the main menu until you choose to download the other parts. That's what this is like.

I hope the Steam version at least gives you the base content (91gb), because Microsoft's servers...

One of the reasons why I pre ordered on steam. But if it's just 1:1 the UWP Microsoft version through a launcher I'm considering to refund.

according to their twitter the game itself will not be downloadable until launch time in your region. seems people are somehow changing region to nz/aus to play right now.

Asking for a friend.
DB has an anime primary key constraint, can’t be deleted.
I have never played Chrono Trigger.
Now y'all know how my heart hurts whenever somebody says that they haven't watched Star Wars or Star Trek.
I think CT is a very good game but if you play it today I don’t think you’d be that impressed.

ISee Stop now! Solitaire is the Game of the Forever, it'll drag you in and before you know it you've lost years of your life!
"Same Game" and Solitaire are zen-like black-holes for me. I've learnt to stay away from them!
