Happy to see someone who work on this industry that actually knows what he's talking about..

I cannot tell who is right. You are all right. Personally, this is what I saw:
years in the makingthis queue system is dumb
i cant move items in queue, unlike in steam
Oh
and game uninstalls are in the same queue as downloads
so you'd need to wait for downloads to finish
before you can uninstall game
you can press the X which like uh "cancels" the download
but you can resume a canceled download
that way you can change queue position if you cancel enough games till you get to the one you wanted to download
and if u wanna add old games back to queue, press resume on them
Of course they did lmao
But it doesn't matter if is Epic doing it! Think about how it will help the developers!! [UWSL][/UWSL] [UWSL][/UWSL] [UWSL][/UWSL]Of course they did lmao
Fighting for the small guys my ass. Indie devs are nothing but cannon fodder for them
A bit of both I'd imagineEither Tim is too dumb for his own good, or his lawyers are playing some 6D chess shit because I dunno why Tim would say something that was so easily debunked.
Tim lives in his own reality where everything he believes and does is correct while everyone who disagrees is wrong. How could Epic believe Apple would make an exception for them ?
another epic title that is on ms store/game pass. these deals really are just "exclusively not on steam" deals rather than "exclusive" dealsNew Super Lucky's Tale | Download and Buy Today - Epic Games Store

It's also on Steam:another epic title that is on ms store/game pass. these deals really are just "exclusively not on steam" deals rather than "exclusive" deals
because tim cook himself said that special arrangements can be made for developers meeting certain conditionsHow could Epic believe Apple would make an exception for them ?
Johnson also asked about a recent agreement that would allow Apple users to rent movies on Amazon Prime without using Apple’s in-app payment mechanism, which takes a 30% cut of sales, and whether other app makers could enter into the same arrangement.
“It’s available to developers meeting the conditions, yes,” Cook said.
I submitted a refund request for Rocket League telling that I want nothing to do with Epic, I don't expect to be successful, but maybe I get luck.
Ah well, I wont be playing Rocket League anymore then...but then again, Ive not played it in ages. Plus, I only really liked the hockey mode, anyway. Still, the way this has gone down just shows how scummy Epic is.might as well quote-post it here:
For a store that claims to have 61m MAU, 7 to 10m people grabbing free games is a pretty low #, isn't?This is old news for all of you but since I never visit this thread. so 7-10 million seems to be the number of people that claim the free games from EGS? Which seem to the the Troy and Ashes numbers of people claiming those games,
If those numbers are close to accurate, it'd still be under 20% of all accounts (11-16%) getting the freebies at max - that means either a lot of users never visit the store or some free games just don't grab the audience. I don;'t think we've had breakdowns on active accounts for store vs active accounts for players and what the venn diagram for those two is like. Not officially anyway. This is old news for all of you but since I never visit this thread. so 7-10 million seems to be the number of people that claim the free games from EGS? Which seem to the the Troy and Ashes numbers of people claiming those games,
Yeah, it's obvious that most of its users are just Fortnite players who couldn't care less about other games that aren't named Fortnite. For a store that claims to have 61m MAU, 7 to 10m people grabbing free games is a pretty low #, isn't?
That's a pretty good summation of things, yeah.
yeah, it's a really good videoThat's a pretty good summation of things, yeah.
We've been watching him tweet for years since the launch of EGS. He's wasting potential by playing checkers with chess pieces.Either Tim is too dumb for his own good, or his lawyers are playing some 6D chess shit because I dunno why Tim would say something that was so easily debunked.
What I assume to be a big-ass law firm was paid a likely immense sum of money to try and convince a judge they're allowed to break contracts without repercussions
So you call out bullshit capitalist tactics like this. What I assume to be a big-ass law firm was paid a likely immense sum of money to try and convince a judge they're allowed to break contracts without repercussions
Why did I go to college again
That's complicated, especially as most systems were designed for normal retail and not online app stores.I'm happy that developers don't get screwed today. But how long can a judge tell Apple who they must have a business relationship with?
This. The ruling is good and the judge appear to have been rather fantastic but Epic has been beyond nauseating. How ironic that judge has to save developers from being fucked by Epic's PR campaign about "saving developers"
Soundtrack slaps which is all I really wanted but shame the actual game isn’t that hot.Oof, I was actually hoping it would be good.

Best decision possible. Epic continues to get fucked, Apple doesn't get to use innocent bystanders as cannon fodder.
Good decision
I really hope Epic's claims that devs are fleeing UE are real.Honestly I think Epic is getting away too easily here. They willingly used Unreal Engine devs as pawns for their stupid war against Apple and I dont think Apple should be forced to work with them. But its hard to argue that devs should be hurt in the process... but I would encourage them to ditch Unreal for an engine not made by a megalomanic with a messiah complex.
Seems like a decent 7/10. Will download when offers it for free.Oof, I was actually hoping it would be good.

Whilst I don't doubt a lot of that was hyperbole by Epic I do think there is a kernal of truth in it. Apple has pretty much indicated they no longer wish to work or do business with Epic. You can bet your life that Apple are now seeking any and all ways in which to end doing any business with Epic. For now the unreal engine is protected by the courts, but that won't last forever. If Apple can convince a court that the Unreal engine devs and fortnite devs are one and the same thing then a ban wil be back on the table for unreal engine. Any developer with sense will be thinking "hm perhaps starting this project on Unreal engine might not be the best idea because by the time the project is finsihed it may not be acceptable on Apples store".Best decision possible. Epic continues to get fucked, Apple doesn't get to use innocent bystanders as cannon fodder.
I really hope Epic's claims that devs are fleeing UE are real.
reading the problems mentioned in reviews sounds like the standard "unmarked early access" EGS dealOof, I was actually hoping it would be good.

Does that mean that the game feels like an Early Access game?reading the problems mentioned in reviews sounds like the standard "unmarked early access" EGS deal
