I had no expectation and I'm pretty impressed that they incorporated the bullet hell elements in something that's usually evocative and reminiscent at most.
minusT is an absolute master, the last two full videos they made are amazing:
Subterranean Stars
Brambly Boundaries

Just been reading a thread elsewhere that modular PSU cables aren't standardised?!? and so you cant use cables from one manufacturer with a different unit as the ground and live wires could all be in different places!. I never knew this. Seems really weird that there's not a universal standard for the connections.
Yes, that's very important to know if you don't want to accidentally fry something.

ghost of sushi

i know bloodborne god of war and sushi are very much in there last stages and relatively can be announced whenever but i dont have that answer. last of us (mainly second one) is in line for nvidia effects possibly dlss and stuff like stranding.
That sounds way too good to be true. I can imagine Bloodborne for sure though.

That sounds like a lineup to launch a new digital platform to me if it's accurrate. Who knows when it will be announced as well.

But man what a list. It would be amazing.

Bloodborne has such a good chance being a hit, more than Persona 4 Golden.

God of War too, as Cory had a "discussion" on twitter on PC ports with PlayStation ""fans""

You asked, I delivered, yes, it is time for the Weekly Top seller list :dualbladesblob:

Fall Guys is king once again, what a juggernaut, if they keep adding content and updating it regularly it's going to be a hit like no other, seriously, I'm really happy to see such a wholesome game being this popular.

Control gets the second place after just 3 days on sale, keep in mind that even tho the game it's second, it also has a lot of people buying it via key stores as sales popped-up like mushrooms so the competitive prices are making a lot of people jump into this adventure, by the look of the numbers it might be the biggest Remedy Steam release up to date, deserved, game is AMAZING!

MSFS still strong performance with a third and seventh place, if anyone had a doubt about the performance of MS games on Steam this weekly lists might end the doubting cause' week after week there is, at the very least, one MS game in top 10.

New World and Among Us strong thanks to streamers, that's right, both got really popular thanks to the big amount of streamers playing both titles, the first one won't be out until Spring 2021 and it has managed to get two places of the top 10 while Among Us is still getting a lot of traction due to the big numbers it's making on Twitch alongside some other platforms.

Wasteland 3 got sixth, not bad given that it just got 2 days, reception has been good so far so, let's see how long it stays here.

CK3 got in too, quite surprised its just ninth given the popularity of Paradox games.

TW3 got a good sale.

This is how last week looked like.

On a different not but related to the top 10, this is how it looks the Remedy Ranking of CCU peaks.

now that horizon is out on pc (and hopefully it gets fixed to be working properly) soon, that's about all i wanted from sony this generation. good to see that the games will be on pc for those that want them but it's a solid reminder that most of what sony puts out is just not for me lol.

Didn't you post something about his podcast teasing God of War for PC? maybe I'm mistaken, if so, sorry in advance. 😊
Yes. And Rand (his friend) coughed "god of war on PC" to be announced in August.

He seems to be hinting at that. Evidently no August announcement but I guess things change.

Hopefully our Queen's sources are telling the truth.

had a big scare this morning when I started my old internet PC, there was a somewhat wobbling sound from one of the fans for a long time that I could only hear when it is very quiet, but I couldn't pinpoint it. But today there was a heavy rattling sound coming from the PC when I started it.
I was looking and trying to pinpoint where it came from like a monkey seeing something new.
I can open the front panel of my PC, so that's where I first looked, fortunately, the fan at the front was the culprit, after stopping it, the rattling stopped. Had to stop it 2 times after that before it started without any rattling or wobbling sound.

I will have to live with the stop/start method if this problem is persistent and will just deactivate the fan completely if it gets worse. As it is just my 5- or 6-year-old Internet PC where I don't game anymore, the Fan isn't needed, the highest temperature it still outputs are from videos.

Spelunky 2?
The avatar is Reno Jackson from Hearthstone. His quote when he enters play is "We're gonna be RICH!" and he then heals your hero to full health. It was (and I guess still is in Wild) a pretty powerful card with the restriction that you can't repeat any cards in your deck. "Highlander"-style. So the goal of those decks to always "Get Rich" or you die before you can. Getting Reno off when you are at like 3 HP is usually a death knell for your opponent.

It definitely works for Spelunky though.

It took me something like 3 weeks but I finally finished the LEGO NES set.... yay.

Overall it does look cool and I did enjoy putting it together. Is it worth $220USD though? I still think it would have been better had they just made it two separate sets.

I think I already mentioned it but I do plan to buy the Jurassic Park set and that thing is over $200USD but it does come with a cool TREX though (unlike other Trex the one in this set is made of legos, all of the other ones are basically just one very large plastic figure). I plan to also get a Lego Ford Mustang as well and there are also a few Lego Star Wars sets that I plan to pick up as well. Now I just need to find a place to put all of these items.

By the way where can I see the GOW thread with Cory?

Just posted to resurrect the thread.

Maybe he knows something.
Honestly, none of Sony's first-party games interest me. I don't like Souls gameplay (so idc personally about Bloodborne) and everything else from them is pretty generic stuff that I can't bring myself to enjoy anymore. I'd much rather if Sega ported their console exclusives faster.

Yeah, definitely. I know a lot of people are excited for Bloodborne and like cinematic experiences, so I'm sure they'll be in for a treat. Just saying that the news of Sony bringing more games (and Horizon which already happened) is pretty much of no importance to me personally. They might make a game that is of interest to me in the future though (I liked quite a lot of their Vita exclusives like Soul Sacrifice Delta), so it's good to know there's a chance I won't need to buy a dust-gathering box just to play them.

Life without Internet (well I have mobila data, but it's capped) is not as terrible as expected. Managed to finished Severed today (3DS) and will soon continue with Samus Returns (don't think I will finish this one, didn't like it much last time I tried).

However I do miss PC games. Well I can play PC games, but I want my playtime tracked. :p

Madden is particularly bad this time around. It’s the same game as last year but they somehow managed to introduce a shitton of bugs I had never encountered before in the series. I just uninstalled it ‘cause I can’t waste my time (and storage space) on this crap.

Yup, I mentioned this in discord the other day as well when people were talking about PSUs after some GPU power requirement news had hit.

I remember a friend who was just starting Hearthstone around when The League of Explorers came out always ranting because of Reno. He could only afford cheap aggro decks and even in lower ranks people had Reno. Gave me always a bit of schadenfreude even though I understood that it was a shitty feeling

You know you want it
So PCVR is weird. On one hand you have Valve, you also have Facebook and MS as well. MS is not really doing much with VR (they are with AR/MR type of stuff though). Valve is moving away from SteamVR and is shifting it to that one more Open ended format (I forget it's name but Kronos Group is working on it). I think FB is also doing the same and moving Oculus to that to make it easier for devs to support?

FB is investigating a lot of money into VR I guess in hopes that Facebook (what ever they recently renamed Oculus to) VR stuff will end up being huge and make them a lot of money in the long run and that is why they are focusing on multiple HMD options and also paying for games. Oculus has a number of "AAA" VR games and not only that but FB also aquired some of these companies as well. What they do with these studios is yet to be seen, heck in maybe a few years they may even shut them down or something, or sell them off.

Valve on the other hand is investing in VR but just not in the same way as Oculus, they don't fund exclusives and what VR titles that they are working on mainly seem to be internal stuff, so unlike Facebook they are not going to be "working on/funding" multiple VR games and have them out in a decent time.

Am I the only one who prefer the new name? Gods & Monsters doesn't explain anything, it can be anything.
The Taiwan Digital Game Rating Committee has rated “Immortals: Fenyx Rising” by Ubisoft for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC.

While Ubisoft has yet to announce game with that title, it is likely the new name for its June 2019-announced “storybook adventure” game Gods & Monsters, in which you play as a hero named Fenyx. The company previously confirmed Gods & Monsters will have a new name when it resurfaces later this summer.

But the new name doesn’t explain anything either, just standard video game name. It contains the name of the protag, but even then you have to know it beforehand.
