EVERSPACE 2

EVERSPACE 2 is a fast-paced single-player spaceship shooter with deep exploration in space and on planets, tons of loot, RPG elements, mining, and trading. Experience a thoughtful story, set in a vivid, handcrafted open world full of secrets and perils, on your journey to become human after all.

In the campaign, you will make some friends with their own story to tell. They will join you on side missions and provide certain benefits in the endgame, where vicious encounters and brutal challenges will stand between you and that next epic loot drop.

Discover alien species, unveil mysteries, find hidden treasures and defend your valuables against outlaw clans. But don’t get cocky: there will be some high-risk/high-reward areas waiting for you where grabbing that ultra-special gear and getting out alive will require some serious piloting skills and all your talent for improvisation.

Annihilate your foes the EVERSPACE way: Dodge, dash, roll and boost guns blazing into frantic dogfights, leaving only a trail of space scrap behind. Use a wide range of weaponry and abilities to defeat a large variety of opponents like drones, fighters, heavy bombers and powerful gunships all the way to massive capital vessels. Always look around and use your environment to your advantage, and gain the upper hand even if you are outnumbered.

Expand your private ship collection from a virtually endless supply of ships, composed of various unique ship classes and optimize your build to perfection. Cleverly combine modules, weapons, devices, and perks to fit your individual playstyle and the current objective.

Be ready to find and exploit synergistic effects between equipment, perks, devices, and ships to fully maximize their potential.

Roam the world looking for the best deals on certain commodities, becoming the part-time trader you always wanted to be. However, prices will vary based on supply and demand, so you better check about the latest offerings before you set course to the next trading station. Always be on the look-out against ambushes during interstellar travel.

You play as Leon Barret, ace fighter pilot of the Poseidon Security Forces. Here at Poseidon Corp., we are trying to pave the way for the colonization of Mars, as mankind is struggling for survival, split between a depleted hot Earth and a cold, claustrophobic Lunar colony. Your job is to maintain order by eradicating rebels and space pirates, facilitate our scientists' research while keeping them safe, and protect all our personnel from the numerous external threats.

Dive down into gigantic asteroid mining plants, shoot down Rebel drones and fighters, roll left and right avoiding enemy fire, unleash impossibly powerful missile volleys, but also race against stray pilots and space scavengers at breakneck speed for the sheer thrill of it.

By completing missions you will unlock Cards and Tokens to upgrade your fighter's Hull, Shields, Energy Weapons and Missiles until you are able to go up against massive Capital Ships and single-handedly shift the tide of the war.

In an interplanetary struggle where nobody is good or bad, you will experience Leon rising through the ranks, the meaning of “necessary evil”, the cost of integrity and ultimately, what it means to take a stand.

This inspires her to leave the island and venture out to the royal capital, Ashra-am Baird. Olija

Olija is a game about Faraday's quest, a man shipwrecked then trapped in the mysterious country of Terraphage. Armed with a legendary harpoon, he and other castaways try to leave this hostile country to return to their homelands.

The Medium

Discover a dark mystery only a medium can solve. Explore the real world and the spirit world at the same time. Use your psychic abilities to solve puzzles spanning both worlds, uncover deeply disturbing secrets, and survive encounters with The Maw - a monster born from an unspeakable tragedy..

The Medium is a third-person psychological horror game that features patented dual-reality gameplay and an original soundtrack co-composed by Arkadiusz Reikowski and Akira Yamaoka.

Wield unique psychic abilities reserved for those with the gift. Travel between the realities or explore them both at the very same time. Use the Out of Body experience to investigate places where your real-world self can’t go. Create energy shields and deliver powerful spirit blasts to survive the spirit world and its otherworldly dangers.

Delve deep into a mature and morally ambiguous story, where nothing is what it seems and everything has another side. As a medium you see, hear and experience more than others, and with every new perspective you will change your perception on what happened at the Niwa resort.

Never-seen-before and officially patented gameplay that plays out across two worlds displayed at the same time. Explore the physical world and the spirit world simultaneously, and use the interactions between them to solve dual-reality puzzles, unlock new paths, and awaken memories of past events.

The Medium’s spirit world is a dark mirror reflection of our reality, a grim and unsettling place where our unpunished deeds, evil urges, and vile secrets manifest themselves and can take on a form. This world has been invented and designed under the inspiration of Zdzisław Beksiński’s paintings, Polish dystopian surrealist internationally recognized for his distinctive and strikingly ominous style.

Immerse yourself in the disturbing and oppressive atmosphere of the game thanks to the original ‘dual’ soundtrack co-created by Akira Yamaoka and Arkadiusz Reikowski. Yamaoka-san is a legendary Japanese composer best known for his work on the Silent Hill series; Reikowski is a Hollywood Music in Media Awards nominee who worked on such acclaimed horror games as Blair Witch, Layers of Fear, and Observer. Now they join their creative forces for the music and songs of The Medium.

What a way to end 2020. I spent the last 4 hours waiting in line to get a COVID test because of the cold I had.

By the way the test was supposed to be a rapid test that you would learn your results in 15 min but now I have to wait until Tuesday to hear my results.

I should have been more prepared since it was very cold and I'm likely to get sick again.

Beat my first game in 2021, Batman Arkham Asylum. Such a modern classic. Going to slowly work on the riddles and challenges while progressing through Resonance of Fate.

May be starting Arkham City afterwards. First time playing it so I am excited.

If you have a high frames monitor make sure to look up the ini tweaks to up the 60 in game cap. I didn't try it with Asylum/Origins but 144hz vs 60hz in City was an incredible difference. But yea regardless those games all hold up so well after all these years. All amazing from start to finish. I can't wait to see how Gotham Knights turns out next year.

Happy successful revolution around our sun!

Between Half-Life: Alyx and Phasmophobia, I've spent a lot of time in VR in 2020. Hopefully this year keeps its up.

I still have a ways to go before finishing Cyberpunk 2077, but I'm having a pretty great time so far. There have been moments where it feels like cuts were made that would really elevate it otherwise. I wonder if they'll add it all in by the time they're done with it.

Unfortunately my monitor only supports up to 60hz. Thanks for the head-up, anyway.

I am very excited towards Gotham Knights as well. But, I need to finish City, Origins, Blackgate and Arkham Knight first lol. It's weird that I have only played Asylum on console (loved it!) a decade ago and dropped off from the series completely afterwards. What was I thinking?
