My library is divided into 74 ASAP, 89 c0mpleted, 11 dropped, 12 unplayable (computer-wise), and 253 uncategorized.
On positive note, 20% completion rate really isn't that bad.

hmmm March 26, I didn't see it had a release it (EA though)

But I already told you guys about the release date like about a month ago. I guess some one wasn't paying attention.

I thought Bugsnax was good not great tbh, gets more interesting towards the end of course. I agree about the DS. I like the haptics but hate the triggers. I gave the PS5 version of Control a try as it was free on Plus and the triggers are a nightmare in that game, just makes it so much more unnecessarily difficult to fire. But even without the resistance I don't like the feel of the DS triggers. The DS was a real novelty at first with Astro but definitely not the game changer that many were suggesting, at least not in a good way. But I realise I'm probably in a minority on this.
I thought the game was okay. I'm not sure it's something that I would have purchased myself but it also wasn't a terrible experience overall. It has a unique premise I will give it credit for that.

It was like a 7/10 for me. One thing that I'm still curious about is the yellow characters, I'm not sure if that characters is naturally tall or not since they have this one snax on their leg when you first meet them.

Also I guess it's because of stuff like Bugsnax that people expect free new indies from PS+.

Free new indies making a return on PS+ is great, it was the best thing about PS+ in the early PS4 days, and it's the best thing about Game Pass on PC and console.

this looks fantastic
The demo made it hard to like. Very floaty imprecise controls, world felt rather empty, and I recall the point being to collect glowing orbs or something. Nothing about it gave me any sense of what the hell I was doing. So I'm hoping that it was just kind of too early to put out a demo. I wanted to like it but it made very little impression.

Couple games I think look potentially interesting from that MIX Game Dev Direct.

These last two I already had on wishlist so they must have been shown elsewhere, but they remain interesting looking. :blobmorning2:

Though the art style in that last one is a bit ugly I think, the mystery solving seems cool.

What about it is outdated?
Compared to OS 2:

That I have to pick up every item dropping from enemies separately
The quest journal is just a log, makes it hard to follow
Worse inventory UI, the amount of loot makes it hard to get a good overview what I have and compare it to what I currently have equipped
Overall the UI feels harder to get a good overview off
Not found any skill management yet

So far. Im just 2.8 hours into the game, so things can change. There was something about the combat that I remember felt off, but don't remember what it was.

Who is David Jeff again? I think some time ago Dave and Co were recommended Cruelty Squad since David didn't like the game or something like that?

He's mostly known for the Twisted Metal games and being the director of the first two God of War. He went indie a while back and, as far as I'm aware, every single game he's made since has been kinda shit and flopped. He hasn't been relevant in quite a while, and the last I heard of him he was out of gamedev entirely and doing some weird talk show thing on Twitch.

Not sure what he's up to now. I unfollowed him on twitter a year or two back because he was starting to give me some real sketchy vibes.

I thought I remembered one of the God of War people being involved in Fallen Jedi, or was that the God of War 3 person?

Also was did this dude make that one PS+ game I was some sort of game that took place in a paper world and looked like some ones school sketches type of thing. I also heard that the game was rather short lived and was only around for maybe 2 years before being shutdown.

(Okay it looks like it is him and the game is called drawn to death)

Do you mean Jedi: Fallen Order? I don't think Jaffe was involved with that. A quick wikipedia check tells me that was probably Stig Asmussen, who directed God of War 3, yeah.

I remember when everyone pretended Calling All Cars was good because it was made by the "director of God of War" and a PS3 exclusive in the early days when the console had few games. I think that was the beginning of the end for Jaffe though, and he's gone more than a bit crazy with the attention seeking since losing relevance. God of War 2 released exactly 14 years ago yesterday
