Nah not enough room also her first figure is of questionable build quality i heard, honestly even a single figure is too much since I don't have room for it.
I do have keychains and her Arcade cards.
I also have her in game with all the bells and whistles.

I have never experienced such slow checkout on amiami.com. Was preordering the new Makoto Niijima figure from MegaHouse. Another waifu secured.
Want to pick this up but I am not financially-secured now. Going to try my luck on release day.

Also how does AmiAmi do pre-orders? From the looks of it, it's an exclusive figure. I would like to pre-order this.
Does AmiAmi charge right away? Or do they charge you once it ships and the. Tells you the price of the grand total?
You get charged when it ships. Likewise, you will find out what the shipping charge is when it is ready to ship. The shipment method can be change before paying for it.

From what people have said the best looking one and the best bang for your buck is still the one of her leaning on a pedestal. I also have the Shibuya Scramble figure of her on pre-order.
Also sad news, it looks like 3 days ago that the XBC2 figures were on sale on TOM for just $50USD over MSRP each which is not too bad but those have sold out.
It would have been cool to have gotten that pair but I guess I will no longer be getting them.
I am actually not a fan of those Shibuya Shamble figures as the pedestals are too large that they become the main attractions of the figures rather than the characters themselves. Just a personal preference, but I like this one more
Regarding Pyra and Mythra, Goodsmile said on Twitter that they are considering another round of re-release pre-order so don't need to worry too much. I will try to keep my eyes on them and post here once they are up again next time.

So you like this Albedo more than the Shibuya Scramble one? One of the main reasons that I got that one was because it looked nice and I have heard good things about SS quality. It was very expensive though.
Also I still plan to purchase the 2B $1k statue. I just need to get a 10% off Birthday SE coupon though. I wonder if there are restrictions to those. By July I should have enough saved up to where I don't have to worry about some other expenses.

I really want to keep it at 1, because if I start to go further I'd be like "hmm, why not get a Chun-Li one!" "Why yes, I'll buy a Mai Shiranui figure!", "This Tifa figure looks pretty good, I think I'll get it", etc.

There are some anime figures that I purchased from series that I don't even know and some of that is because if how cheap they were (they were on clearance other wise I typically tend to only get figures from stuff that I'm familiar with.

Try to avoid treating figure collection as adding games into steam backlog. They are way too costly for impulse purchase. I think it is not too difficult to restrain as figures are getting more expensive everyday due to rise in manufacturing cost and supply shortage lately.
Yeah, figures are getting more expensive nowadays. I can still find some listings in a marketplace from a year or two ago that the seller hasn't closed yet (even though they're already sold), and how they're much cheaper. That said, these things can be an investment too. Some kits are more rare than the others due to limited production or just not being produced anymore. Until the producer release a refreshed/revived version of the old kits, they're only getting more expensive.
They're also more expensive than RG Gundams.
They are just SD gundams. Get them all!

They're both MS Ensemble units, not your regular gunpla kits. It's probably a mix between a figure and gunpla, not that many parts to assemble. They're also limited in stock, and some of them are gacha or bundled in a set. That's basically what make them so pricey.WHAT. Ultimately, it comes down to my SD unit preference. SD is kinda niche compared to normal kits, so there aren't that many choices we have. Certain popular units would show up in multiple series (BB/SDEX/SDCS), like the RX-78, Wing Zero, Unicorn, etc. But if you want the less popular units, you'll be out of luck, or need to resort to other options such as Converge, Ensemble, or even bootleg kits. I have this Suntoys SD Evangelion because Bandai won't make an official one. Normal kits builders have it easy, really.

I used to collect quite a bit a few years ago and checked and the prices have gone up about 4,000 JPY from about 4 years ago. Sometimes I like to look at the resell value of the figs so I can say wow that figurine I got was a good "investment". I started off with normal figs but then I eventually went lewd. In my defense, they have high resell value... Yes. High resell value.
Since saitom was mentioned I did acquire this Original Character - Skytube - Usada Yuu - 1/6 (Alphamax) before I slowed down but then they released a Pink Ver. last year which looks better imo so there's some regret there. It is from Skytube who make lewd figurines but this is one of the more tamer ones. I think Skytube has done a few other figurines using saitom's illustrations.

Yeah. saitom is very popular among figure makers. Native, Skytube, Max Factory... you mean it. With Pyra and Mythra, I think he earned quite a considerable amount of money from licensing.
My SDEX Nu Gundam is almost completed. But ugh, I hate the stickers already. Besides the forehead, the right wrist is busted already too because of the weapon. And then there's also the feet that don't look great as I kinda misplaced them. I guess I gotta paint them, except the fin funnels.
Nice work! Painting is hard but very fun. I have a few kits waiting to be painted but the air compressor somehow can't be turned on so I can't paint anything now, and I am too broke to buy a new one.

Funny story. I was trying to buy the Pikachu skateboard at one point point but I could not since the site was so busy and it was sold out or something like that. I pretty much have up on that. And yet I was able to get the master all pretty easily. And now the master ball that cost less than the skateboard is selling at a higher price than the skateboard itself.
