Has anyone looked into Vivy: Fluorite Eye's Song? It's from Tappei Nagatsuki the creator of Re:Zero so I was planning on picking it up when it is a few episodes in.

I just finished Jujutsu Kaisen and Todo is now my favourite character because of the fight with Hanami. Typically in battle manga when there is a new power the characters explain their powers so that the viewer can understand how it works but with Todo and his 530,000 IQ he just kept me on the edge of my seat.

Also finished Way of the House Husband. I think the animation is a hit or miss for people as it's very minimal and is more like an animated manga but the comedy got me good especially at the parts where he encounters past colleagues. It's got about 4-5 scenarios per episode with 5 episodes total so it is an easy light watch.

Li Kao makes me want to pick up Gridman.

It's definitely a bit divisive -If you like it, you're very likely going to really like it, but if not you'll probably bounce off it hard.
It's 100% made for me though, hopefully it will be for you too :steam_pigblanket:

Are Anime OP on Youtube in a grey legal zone ? I had some trouble finding the Mars Red one and now it's deleted.

Full Dive RPG (full name is too long to remember) Episode 2

Continue to be one of the best shows this season. I haven't laughed so hard when watching anime in years.

Nowadays, the studios or streaming services that show the series online host the OP and ED, with the actual singer hosting the full ver. of the song. So it often helps to cehck the YT channel of the studio that made the series to find them.

Watched episode 1 and 2 of Hige wo Soru. Soshite Joshikousei wo Hirou. This is a wholesome start for a story based on criminal premise. Hopefully the main heroine can have a normal life as a teenager.

Interesting. I was already tempted to try it but your good feedback seals the deal.

I've read the manga for a little bit awhile ago, it's quite interesting. There was a good scene where Yoshida was (story) confronted by a real predator and had his motives questioned. I hope this scene will make it into the anime.

Good night, not soooo gooood.

Tokyo Revengers 2
Dat cliffhanger ! :grimacing-face:
Continue to be a very good show. Not a fan of the focus on gang violence, but eh, it's one of the core part of the show and what makes its identity. Hoping they keep the more sci-fi stuff just peripheral, because the star of the show is the portrayal of agitated youth.

86 2
I don't have good things to say. The BIG reveal of episode 2 is what everybody could more or less infer from episode 1. Otherwise, there is a totally unheard of message of 'war is bad'.
It could still rise far higher than that, if stuff would happen sometimes (and preferably stuff people didn't understand one episode earlier).
For the time being I will just say that it's a show that suffer because of its pacing.

SSSS Gridman 7-8
A little less good than usual, we are globally in an awkward transition between a great episode expanding on the lore and what I hope will be another great episode expanding on the lore (or leading to the ending arc). In other words it was good secondary stuff, but imho less good than the school outing for example.
I just greatly fear that the show will end without explaining 1/10 of what I would like expanded upon. I want moar.

How did I not hear about this one? I mean look at that bloody art to begin with.

Freaking 8.01 on anidb too and considering how harsh they are on works, this speaks volumes.

Edit : so this is a two-season series, original came out in 2018 and ranked a meager 7.17, which is to say it's a must watch given how that site ranks anime. I wonder what else I've been sleeping on. Second season is coming out this spring.

Edit² : Also, more Canipa Effect.

Just watched To Your Eternity EP1-2, I love the manga although I stopped after the first 3(?) arcs which the anime seems to be covering, it's a bit slow but pretty good so far, maybe I should wait for more eps before watching them all.

The Yasuke anime is delivering.

I am loving how whack and crazy the stuff in it are.
The soundtrack is really nice too, with some lovely lo-fi chill vibes.

And people have been waiting since 2013 for a sequel to this? That’s just cruel
Wait, I watched only the series, was there more? After Madoka becomes Mahou Shoujo Jesus?

Yeah there’s 3 movies
The first 2 are just an adaptation of the series but the 3rd is a sequel
4th movie was only just announced a week or so ago

There is also a spin off series but I’ve heard it’s not good

yep yep yep yep yep yep yep

also please enjoy this completely out of context clip that I just love :p

My only experience with JoJo series were some random gif and the knowledge there are stands (it seems they appear only in the other seasons) and so far I wasn't expecting it to be this absurd :ROFLMAO:

I am right there with you, I am watching S3 Part 1 just now and it is just bananas (this is when you'll first encounter Stands). Season 1 is pretty tame in comparison, and even that is already pretty kooky.

Caught up with Back Arrow again.

Wow. This has been consistently getting better and better every episde, from the initial "this is pretty entertaining", to "wow, this is actually great" to "wait, could this actually become a favorite of mine?". And the latest episode was no different and just blew way past that. We might just go into "among my all-time favorite no-brainer mecha recommendations" territory once this is over unless it massively fumbles the ending - which is highly unlikely considering the current trajectoy.
This episode was just straight up amazing. Holy shit. Literally perfect.

Thank god I only watched it today and tomorrow is the next episode already. :sweaty-blob: :sweaty-blob: :sweaty-blob:

Whew. Today's Back Arrow continued to fire on all cylinders. :sweaty-blob:
This cliffhanger might be even worse than the last :negative-blob:

Dynazenon and Spider Isekai continue to be fantastic too

I guess since we're now like halfway through the season it's time to check out some of the other shows I planned on watching.

Wow. I watched the first 2 episodes and that was an extremely strong start. Gonna watch the rest tomorrow.
