If I look at the Steam Deck page it now says "Your account is too new to reserve early. Reservations will open for you on Sunday July 18th, 10am PDT" So I guess they at least doing something to combat scalpers.
Not sure why I have that message showing instead of "well done you won the Gabenboy lottery already.
