But that's only for the most expensive modelThat's a lot less than I expected, especially since the servers were clearly overloaded.

Keep in mind that this only the most expensive model, and only hour after reservations opened for a piece of tech that has had a whoppin' 2 days of press while servers were constantly shitting the bed and a ton of people interested couldn't even get the order in.That's a lot less than I expected, especially since the servers were clearly overloaded.
Yea, this thing is gonna sell as fast as they can produce for the foreseeable futureKeep in mind that this only the most expensive model, and only hour after reservations opened for a piece of tech that has had a whoppin' 2 days of press while servers were constantly shitting the bed and a ton of people interested couldn't even get the order in.

Play games? I thought we are just buying games (and hardware) hereGot mySteamCastlevania Deck pre-ordered.
Can't wait toplay all my PC gamesplay all the best vania games on it totally not through emulation.
Don't give up. I stopped trying for about 40-50 minutes but left it in my cart, then I was able to go in and buy it without any issues.Still not managed to complete the order, error, stuck, too many purchases, error, error, pending, stuck, now too many purchases again. This ain't happening.
Says the same for me as well.
Seems new?
Wizards of the Coast has a big Dungeons and Dragons event this weekend called D&D Live, the sale is likely just to tie into that event.
Beamdog's license about to expire?
Where do you cancel it? On the main page it's greyed out for me. Want to consider switching models.I was able to cancel my reservation for the 64GB model and get a reservation for the 256GB model.
There was an option to cancel it on the Steam Deck store page. Right where the reservations are.Where do you cancel it? On the main page it's greyed out for me. Want to consider switching models.
Oh well, then I'll keep those few ISOs as they are. There are disadvantages.
Higher CPU usage due to decompressing - so higher battery use if you're portable and possibly some hitching due to ISO decompression.
Aren't you from Croatia? If so I believe your country is eligible for the Steam Deck.Living in a country that is never supported for Steam hardware has it's benefits, no stress for pre-order XD
That's not the case if the emulator supports the compressed format natively. PCSX2 for example creates an index file for every gzip archive. Hitching is also non-issue on any normal hardware. CSO for example hitches on PSP, but only in GTA games. On PC CSO works perfectly and there's 0 chance of hitching. There are disadvantages.

Try turning steam off and on again.Alright, I successfully processed my order, but now Steam won't let me install it. WTF.
I am bit south-east from Croatia in hell hole called Bosnia & Herzegovina XDAren't you from Croatia? If so I believe your country is eligible for the Steam Deck.
"Browse to Files." just brings up a googlemaps route to a factory in China.Try turning steam off and on again.
Might need to validate the files
My father was born and raised in Bosnia when it was part of Yugoslavia. My mother was born and raised in Croatia. I always wanted to visit both. Maybe some day.I am bit south-east from Croatia in hell hole called Bosnia & Herzegovina XD
Seems like they'll notify you when it's ready for shipping, then you either pay and it immediately gets shipped oryou get your deposit refunded (to the Steam Wallet if it's been over 30 days since reserving it, which will probably be the case for everyone, lol)Now my dumb questions while I think about getting the Deck
You can preorder now paying 4 bucks, but when do you have to pay the full thing?
Can you pay with Steam wallet?
My guess is that you'll pay when they have a console available to ship to you.Now my dumb questions while I think about getting the Deck

I think you have to download more RAM to make it workAlright, I successfully processed my order, but now Steam won't let me install it. WTF.
I guess as a SteamDeck fan, there's only one option:Me reading about the Deck and realizing I live in Norway
