Every now and then I think about getting 100% from Bloodstained, and now with the humble choice I think about it again.
But then I also remember that it's a huge timesink and abandon the idea.
I should however check any and all additional modes and such that they have added since launch.

Real talk, the ads on Microsoft Solitaire Collection scare the living shit out of me. They're those point and click f2p mobile game ads, and they're LOUD. I used to love playing the previous version of Solitaire before they tried to monetize it.

And if you click off it, the ad pauses. It's funny.

Why play that when the original Solitaire still works perfectly :D

Shit like this should absolutely be illegal. Fucking with hardware settings for ads is awful.

Yup, my audio comes out through a DAC into some powered speakers. Thats an extra 2 volume controls that windows has no idea what they set at. Stick something on at maximum volume through the PC and I'm likely to shit myself at the noise and possibly damage expensive audio equipment.

Got CoDs the only time they had sort of good discount. (I think, 2018) :D
Thankfully new games aren't on Steam, so I haven't had need to buy any since.

That's around 5ish bucks CAD. Was this a summer/winter sale? i wouldnt buy them for a price any higher than that and those are the four id want to buy too.

Going to pause my humble choice for this month even though I do not own any of the games this month if they are not given steam key for all games.
I pause it in June also as they did not provide steam key for disjunction.

New anime thread! :evilblob:

Anyhoo, I played the free Weekend trial of Grounded on Steam with 3 other friends over the past 3 days. I’m usually not a fan of survival crafting games…in fact, I hate most the genre but I’ll admit I had a lot of fun with this one. Is it something to play alone? Maybe…depends if you like this type of game, I’m sure you’ll find some enjoyment but this definitely shines with more people. It’s a big buggy still cuz Early Access and I’m hoping Obsidian adds something that will make enticing for people who can play alone but I’d keep my eye on this one.

:blobyesanime:

I didn’t buy Death Door. I didn’t buy Grime. I did my budget until December and chose to be reasonable. I can wait. Maybe they will be on Game Pass someday, or Humble, or simply discounted in a sale.

The plan is to fight FOMO with Game Pass and spare the budget for some time. The Deck won’t buy itself and I’m also really tired of living in overdraft.

So I started Carrion and installed Last Stop.

Trials Evolution was the best game. Or Dark Souls. Or Metal Gear Solid. Or Half Life 1 & 2. Or Zelda BOTW on cemu. Or Mario 64. Or Super Mario World. Or Street Fighter 2. Or X-COM2 WOTC. Or Civilization 2. Or Final Fantasy X. Or Resident Evil 2 & 4 & 6 & 2Remake. Or Hitman 2. Or Batman Arkham Knight. Or Advance Wars. Or Red Dead Redemption 2. Or Stardew Valley. Or Goldeneye. Or Rimworld.

That's pretty fucked! Is that the one that's due on game pass?
My headphones are usually at a sensible 2-6 tops :fearful-face:

Tie-Fighter Evolution was the best game. Or Dark Tie-Fighter. Or Tie-Fighter Solid. Or Half-Tie-Fighter 1 & 2. Or Tie-Fighter on DOS-Box. Or Tie-Fighter 64. Or Super Tie-Fighter. Or Street Tie-Fighter 2. Or X-COM2 WOTC. Or Civilization 2. Or Final Tie-Fighter X. Or Resident Tie-Fighter 2 & 4 & 6 & 2Remake. Or Hit-Fighter 2. Or Batman Tie-Knight. Or Advance Tie-Fighter Wars. Or Tie-Redemption 2. Or Tie-Fighter Valley. Or Golden Tie-Fighter. Or Tie-Fighter world.

Unfortunately, I can only agree once with a post.

;)

I'm overplaying the joke, but I will stop now.

Just saw this today, an interview excerpt from this week's Famitsu on Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water:
Q 零シリーズ再始動ということで反響などで続編が生まれたりするのでしょうか?
菊地啓介「そう願っている。今回は20周年企画として提供。これを機会にたくさんのプレイヤーに遊んでいただき是非に次の作品につなげたい」
Q: Will a sequel be produced depending on the reception of this reboot?
A: Yes, we wish. This reboot is meant to be the 20th anniversary project. Through this opportunity we hope that many players will play it so that we can connect it to the next entry.

So..... buy the game! :longswordblob:

Hopefully if a sequel happens it will be multiplatform too. Not sure about this since Nintendo still owns part of the IP.

  • Comfy

Actually I did not translate the next line;)
対応ハードを増やしたのは多くのプレイヤーに遊んでいただきたいから
As we hope that more people are able to play it, we increased the supported hardware

So it should be safe to believe that if a sequel does happen, it will be a multiplat release.

Hmmm.... It looks like there won't be any Steam key for ENCODYA.

I don't understand how it went from:
  • a request to have an option between Steam and GOG, i.e. to remove the GOG exclusivity,
to:
  • a request to have no other option than Steam, i.e. to enforce the Steam exclusivity.
