I had planned to play something all weekend. Here I am on a Sunday morning, and I haven’t even started yet. I’ve been so tired and lazy, I just idle cards and pretend I’m going to buy something. Why is it I add money to my account, but then I start acting all frugal? 😂
i'd say you've played enough

also - HOW IS THIS EVEN POSSIBLE? :p fucking hell, lol

I think I’m about to do something odd: I’m about to uninstall most of the games I do have installed. I’m going to keep only about ten games installed at a time. I really want to start running through some games. I typically spend more time trying to figure out what to play than actually playing. Since I seldom buy new games at MSRP, this should allow me to burn through some games I’d like to play, though my game time is almost non-existent these days.

I had a lot of cards to idle for. 😘

Same story with me.
I was going to start playing Vampyr. Ended up with just a couple of hours of Euro Truck Simulator 2. :)
We are getting old. :grimacing-face:

I’m 35 with one kid. I don’t see how anyone can do it with more than one slab of genes running around the house. My wife plays Sims 4, so we both strive for time to play.
I'm 38, turning 39 in a few months. :)
No kids, but after a hard week at work, you don't always have patience to play most games. My favourite genre was always RPGs, but now, unless it's a 10 hour (at max) game, I'll probably leave it unfinished. :p

First stupid rough footage of Ys IX. Looking pretty rad :)

  • Maps are three-dimensional with different levels of elevation.
  • Jumping and vertical actions have increased.
  • 40 to 50 percent of the map is the city.
  • The prison is a major symbol, and surrounding it is a vast city.
  • Monstrum means “monster,” and Nox means “night.” Combined, that means “Night of the Monsters.” As the title suggests, “night” is an important keyword.
  • In the key visual, the five people behind bars are Monstrum, but the girl not behind bars is different.
  • The way Adol appears is different than before—he is in a significantly unusual form.
  • Each Monstrum has various actions, such as flying, running up walls, and more. You can reach various places by utilizing these actions.
  • Some actions work on traps to cancel their mechanics.
  • Like past Ys titles, Ys IX has simple action that even novices and players not good at action games can enjoy.
  • There are various things Adol needs to do in order to live in the city. He will not be camping as he has in the past. Unlike Ys: The Oath in Felghana, the city itself is also where the adventure happens. “Guild Management” is one element that serves as a means for Adol to live in the city. Adol’s position is special and not the type of thing he can be proud of. He starts from the position of, “So now what?” It is one reason his appearance has yet to be revealed.
  • You can run up any wall.
  • You can generally travel to places seen in the distance.
  • As the largest city in the series yet, there is a ton of variation, from developing areas to slums.
  • There is a Colosseum in the city, and unusual things will occur.
  • The game uses the series’ traditional party system. You will advance while utilizing each Monstrum’s different abilities.
  • Since a Monstrum’s superhuman actions are shared across the party, you will not have to go through the trouble of switching between characters to use them.
  • Since attributes are still important in battle, you will switch between party members while fighting.
Edited with the original slightly less stupid rough footage @ the correct timestamp. There's no more after the portion with the spider enemies, wait for it.

Yeah, I want to jump in and beat a game. When I used the trainer in Shadow Tactics, it felt great to run through the game... but I felt no joy in it because I was invincible. I may redo the levels I used the trainer on, but I feel Shadow Tactics is the type of game I don’t have time for right now.

This is another reason Stardew Valley only received a few hours from me. I’m determined to play something today!

Find a small sized short game to download then just play it.

Or an episodic game. There are games that are split into episodes/chapters, some even with recaps (Alan Wake, Life is Strange, Hitman 2, ...) which is great for a guy like me, who can just play something, finish a chapter/episode, and return to it later on, without missing much. :)

All this "old man" talk is making me feel a little younger (but I'm still grumpy and old) so a huge thanks to you all :)

While I still put a lot of hours in a few games, these days I am drawn to shorter experiences. Kind of funny because I was one of the people always complaining about publishers charging a lot for short 12-hour single player games.

Which is why I'm not really a fan of the current GaaS "please spend all your time in our game" model. Even if one or other works somewhat for me (hi AC:Odyssey), I can't deal with all the games wanting that much commitment. And the Game pass like or streaming paying developers by the hour played is not going to help.

Well I'm 6 hours into Sekiro now and have only just completed Ashina Outskirts. Damn this game is intense, and I'm not quite sure yet in a good way or bad way.
I feel slightly vindicated actually thinking "hmm being markedly harder than Dark Souls might not be a good thing necessarily" looking at the reactions from some

Here's a sneak peak at April's releases, along with a few March release syou may have missed out on
how could you forget One Finger Death Punch 2??

Seriously though awesome effort as ever (y)

That's not the full list, but thanks for reminding me about OFDP2.
There are a lot of stuff that I tend to forget about when making these threads, esp. with how big they are @_@

My God, I'm surrounded by senior citizens here 😳

I'm 42 😋

I have been playing Super Metroid for a few more hours today. I really like it, but I'm having a hard time with the "now figure out where you need to go" stuff. It's worse in Super Metroid than in Metroid 2 because of the heavy backtracking. This seems to frustrate me more than when I was young, because I have so many other games in my backlog.

Uh, how do I find an order reference number for items bought on GMG?

I don't think I have the email anymore and I can't find anything in my account?
