The game will probably get mixed reviews from people with older/weaker hardware because it runs like garbage on a lot of devices. Even high-end PCs are struggling with it.

I'm worried about how it's gonna play with my 3070 at 4K. I may just run it at 1440p to help performance.

Deathloop desperately needs DLSS.

now that the geforce leak is over and we've mostly cooled ourselves off from that (i'm still fucking blazing, the jsons on Persona 25th anniversary are hinting at the first thing being revealed very soon), i need help with something

i'm sure a gooood amount of you took computer science, so you guys have any great playlists that shows discrete mathmatics with tons of examples?
our professor kinda showed us 3 easy examples and then gave us much harder tasks after that so
It has been awhile since I took discrete mathematics. I don't really remember relying on any youtube playlists but I did find this.

yeah the MIT ones are great, i watched some of the ones from 2010 iirc, thanks for the suggestion

If the tweet posted earlier about Mirror's Edge getting a RT implementation is true, then I hope Catalyst gets the same treatment. DICE can have my left nut for it.

Deathloooooooop. If only I didn't have a virtual career fair I needed to go to tomorrow...

I hope that now that Steam's download page has been redone, big picture will be next. There's not much else left to update to Chromium besides the settings page I think, which I can imagine will be saved until the rest of the app's been updated.

Let's start by getting denuvo remuvo-ed :V

damn, the list has mario+rabbids for uplay and new super mario bros for GOG
Don't read too much into it, some things that are on the list are too weird and we don't fully understand why those are there.

does this honestly mean anything or just there for the sake of being there?

on the geforce leak, i poked around and got somewhere where i could input appids, and then get somewhere where i could look at potential banners, screenshots, and APKs for geforce now for that title specifically, but the problem was that i had no appids because there was no good way to find them
i said this previously in the forum, and the Wok came in like the saviour they are, and provided some

i found some things, like how Shin Megami Tensei V was in the APK for Geforce where, in theory, it would house most files and images for streaming SMTV (for example, a banner image), but what i found was this:

unknown.png

as you can see, it's a mere placeholder image for a potential banner of SMTV on Geforce Now (same stuff for Metal Gear Solid 2 HD), but I want to note that in some cases, there are actual banner images, like when I did the exact same for Catherine FB, in which there was a logo

Holy fuck, what a day to wake up to.

1) I FINALLY received that Akira boxed set I ordered back in June
2) this massive leak
3) got news that I'm accepted in the cybersecurity program I applied for

And fucking lmao that Bloodborne isn't on the list. Of course. Pretty bummed at the lack of Spider-Man though. The presence of other Sony games means it might not be coming anytime soon, or at all. :(

45K is pretty much within the estimation based by reviews, actually. Really shows how useless SteamSpy has become, though.

I'm glad to see Returnal on that list. I was really hoping for a port as it looks like something I'd really enjoy, but since it's a new IP and a recent release it didn't seem like a sure thing like some of their bigger games.

Ahah, I failed my will test, I am gonna loop, too. But it could have been worse, I saw some 3060ti in stock and had an itchy finger :fearful-face:
Sometimes I wonder if the Deck is worth not upgrading :face-with-cold-sweat:
I have to try to stop smoking, more money for ma vidyagames. Yeah, I’m a sad pathetic husk of a man who could have been someone once. No, I’m totally happy, it just doesn’t sho… wait, I’m more depressed after buying a game than before, what is wrong with me.

Another day, another possibly broken Ubisoft game

Hopefully i'm not too late on the Nvidia situation. But i believe what happened is that Nvidia is
  • Pulling things from the Steam and Epic APIs automatically, hence why there's multiple cancelled titles in the list. Valve in particular has been trying to integrate Geforce Now into Steam, so it makes sense they'd give Nvidia more access than a standard consumer.
  • Mistakenly pulling in data from their proprietary Android store, this is where the MGS2 and 3 ports come from, for example. As if you look at the publisher info it lists Nvidia's internal "Lightspeed Studio" that does Android ports of AAA games, and would be unlikely to be involved if Konami was porting it around.
  • They tested Geforce Now by running a bunch of non-game applications on it. This one is pretty obvious, considering it's unlikely they'd even intend, say, 3Dmark to be playable publicly. This is also what that "New Super Mario Bros" Dolphin Emulator listing is for.
It's important to note that whatever scraping tools they're using here is only grabbing the title + Dev/Publisher, and it looks like the rest would be manually filled in by Nvidia themselves.
As after getting my own copy of all the entries they had listed. Approximately 7595 of them had images attached. Out of around 19346.
unknown.png

In fact, from most of my checking. Most of the "big" stuff listed (As demonstrated by Halo 5) is like this. With God of War and Judgement being some of the few exceptions in that regard.

It'd be best to think of this like the previous Steam API leaks, in that almost everything certainly existed in some form. But might not ever get publicly released. (Off the top of my head, some titles from previous Steam API leaks that i remember getting canned are Quantum Conundrum 2, some sort of new Zak Mckraken game. and the Pre-Master Chief Collection attempt at porting the first three Halo games to PC.)

Misc things.

iekjA6m.png

An example of one of the many test applications listed.

The developers of Espire 1 linked their Pitch Video to Nvidia on the title of their listing, i'm surprised this isn't taken down yet.
The description also links to videos providing a playthrough of their demo, and info on the game's core systems.

There's a lot of stuff missing from that list that is currently live and available too, it's definitely incomplete. So I wouldn't worry too much about what's missing, focus on what's there instead. :D

but how do you explain this ? both mario's games have a specific store (both are pc's) they couldn't be pulled from the android store

Take a closer look at the New Super Mario Bros listing, it lists "GOG" as a retailer. Nintendo is far more likely to either use Steam or Epic Games Store (In fact, Epic actually thought of it.) in such an extremely unlikely scenario. Also note that the store id is "12345678", which is a rather clear placeholder. They normally label unreleased ids as "TBD".

As for Mario + Rabbids, i could see Ubisoft making a very basic PC port for testing purposes. But i doubt they went any further than that, much less pitched the idea to Nintendo.

It is possible there are some "placeholders" on either the store and/or GN.

Ubisoft for sure could have Rabbids listed in their Uplay backend, but have nothing in their agreement with Nintendo that would allow them to release it on PC yet.

Good eye on the store ID for New Super Mario Bros, that really does make it seem like some sort of placeholder.

While the store id is indeed a place holder i don't get why they used GOG as the distribution platform if it was for streaming purpose they could have letft it blank. if by any chance Nintendo is releasing a game for pc we don't know what distribution platform they'll use it can be steam, epic, gog or all of them.

The mario+rabbids is a bit weird, if it was for testing purpose they don't have to put it in a pc distribution platform. As a corporation, if they have a deal with Nvidia for remote testing i think they'll have a less restricted access to the cloud. Also, it should have an entry for the second game.

Just noticed that the trading cards for FFIV Pixel Remaster use the same weird/ugly art style as the cards for the shitty version of FFVI.

zpHbNai.jpg

It's just the trading cards but still, what an odd choice. The first three PR just used the normal sprites for the trading cards and FFIV never had a version with the shitty art style. Surely this isn't new art? Like, they probably just had this lying around and slapped the cards together quickly or something. But even then, why not just use the normal sprites like with the first three games? lol

Man for people that are on the fence about enabling the online competent of Deathloop. I'd really recommend it.
It can get very tense. I straight up got hunted for around 15 minutes on the first person that invaded me.

Managed to get them in the end after we both ran out of ammo but it was a rush.

Advice I would give is make use of your dodges a lot.
and sound is VERY important.

It took my PC 5 minutes to unpack Deathloop. So final results are, downloading took 45 minutes, unpacking 5 minutes. I guess sometimes pre-loading pays off XD Now I just need to survive 8h at work then it is gaming time :D

Oooh, I see. That makes way more sense. Now I'm wondering if the bad sprites from FFV and FFVI were meant to replicate this art style because they're pretty similar.
