Forza is already out? I thought it was out next week and that people that purchased the premium edition or something got like a week or early access.

Expected nothing less from Dan.
Smart contract angle of blockchain is what people should also be worried about.

Remember all the legal documents that pop-up when you first boot up the game and you don't care for it? Well now you DO have to care for it. Smart contracts can be very strictly imposed.

Both console + PC games and players stand to suffer from it.

Indie expo will be live soon.
As usual there will be a Steam page up for the event.

Also they are going to be replacing this song, this time around.

It's a nice song though but it will be replaced by something made by Shoji Meguro

Little bit disappointed to see Endwalker has been delayed by a fortnight. On the other hand more time to learn Tanking.

Decent premise but the gameplay bits shown look like amateur hour UE to me, it's just the same popping out of cover deal repeating and that purple character thing surely has to be some random placeholder model, not final. Hopefully it's just too early for that since no release date was given and it will develop nicely...

Bought FH5 Premium. Was the best outcome for me. Gonna play this game for a long time, my sub is ending next summer and want to play the DLCs too which I refuse to buy on winstore, buying DLC for a game I don't own just feels wrong to me.
Well they might give DLC buyers the game for free again when it gets delisted, just like with FM7. We'll see how they will handle FH4 being delisted.

Well, Avengers may be many things but ugly it is not. Jesus. Another game that makes my CPU over near 80c :anguished-face:

As a comic book fan, I didn’t anticipate enjoying it that much. GoTG is more than ever on my discount radar.
Apart from that, eh, it’s a mediocre mix of beat them all, corridor ‘plot’ levels with long cinematics and relatively shitty GaaS levels. After a bunch of hours I can imagine that the word of mouth is spot on : the campaign is good, but after that you are expected to really engage in a bland Destiny sorta riff, and well, why though ? I didn’t do anything wrong, I don’t feel the need to punish myself.
But the ride to get there, as a comic fan, not unpleasant.

Is there any reason when a game has several launch options (32 bit, 64 bit, legacy etc) that you can't set one as default and are forced to select each time; besides making user's life miserable.
Specifically when launching from steam.

Isn't pretty much all Japanese games like this?
Can't say every, but pretty much all Bamco games are like this. Elden Ring is extra expensive thanks to the nextgen inflation so some JP steam users are pissed on twitter. Dragon Ball, One Piece and other manga games are also region-locked to them.
Not that i changes much, but aren't from soft games published by fromsoft in japan ?
With that said, how much does it cost in PSN japan ? I'm inclined to believe that it's the same price.

With that said it seems too much.
Same price. Jesus.

Returning to Dark Souls 3 long after getting all cheevos for it. Playing through it for fun and wow is it still such an amazing game. It hasn't aged one bit in 5 years. Very active too with pvp and constantly being summoned into the blue worlds as help.

I still can't believe we are getting a game like this in a giant open world with a mount etc. FromSoft fucking hell cannot wait until Feb.

Also finally getting around to Psychonauts 2. Played through the first couple hours and wow is the game ambitious. Very polished and well made. I was expecting it to be good but not this good wtf o_O

I'm beginning to wonder if I didn't hit my first Win11 annoyance ? I mean why else would it do this in some cases and not another ?

Edit -
First fail of the day : Edge doesn't play well with imgur, like, at all.
Cool, I see I won't break my fail combo.

Does my imgur link works for you people ? I don't plan to stay on the topic forever (help or input would be appreciated, though), but I at least would like to have posted something else than a grey rectangle.

... yeah, the Endwalker delay hits hard. Not that I have a job or anything like PTO/Vacation lined up around it. Just... been a bit bored lately I guess and that big thing I've been waiting so long for already just got pushed out more. Ah man, and it would have during my break week of Chemo also... I just remembered that. 😓

damn...

Last few days remined me why Linux is not that popular XD I tried to setup Home Assistant (Home automation system) on multiple systems (Windows, native Home Assistant OS and Linux) and boy is it pain to work on Linux to do anything. Why is Linux still so dependent on terminal and command lines?

A vicious circle of Linux being niche enough for it to be used by people that don't mind the terminal and not having enough newcomers that want things to change ? Just a supposition.

There are still people that will try to convince you that the command line is better than GUI. I'm working with Linux console on daily basis and the last thing I want after coming home to my personal PC is to use the command line even more to do simple tasks like making a game work. On Windows, you do not need to launch a command line like ever, even if you have the strangest issues.

Japanese exclusive region-locked key for $81

Bamco is literally asking their own people to fuck off. Jesus.
PSN has the same price, so it's kinda consistent with the prices in the region

I just don't get it why things are not changing for years. In my opinion that is one of the biggest reasons why people avoid Linux (among other compatibility ones).
