If we're not getting a remake, then this would be the preferable version to get as far as I'm concerned. As long as they at least update it to have party control.
There's also a Party Control mod available for P3 FES. It's what I used when I did my upteenth playthrough of the game early this year. Even though the game isn't balanced around it, it's still way more enjoyable that way.

Yeah, it looks like I'll be doing my new build in January (just in time for God of War and Elden Ring!) and once that's done my GTX 1660 will be the weakest link of my system. It's only two years old and can last me a little longer,though, so I'll take the opportunity to go all out on the CPU for now and wait until the RTX 40 series to upgrade my GPU but it's going to fucking suck if I can't get one. I already gave up on DDR5 because it's impossible to find and the prices are insane. But if I can't get an RTX card then I'm honestly not sure doing a new build will have even been worth it lol.

Hahaha yeah, I can imagine. I literally just bought a G-Sync monitor, too (although it's currently sent to Samsung for repairs...). The main reason why I want to upgrade now is so I can make the most of this 1440p 240hz monitor. The CPU is the component I'm most in need of upgrading right now but if I can't secure a GPU next year then there's little point in upgrading everything else. Not that I'm gonna let that stop me lol.

They are. In terms of games available on PC, right now is the best moment to be a PC gamer. In terms of price, it's one of the worst moments to get into PC gaming, it has become ridiculously expensive. I wanted to buy a 3080 for the longest time and I just can't, and for the looks of it, Lovelace is going to be even more expensive and power-hungry than previous generations.
