Yea Wonder Woman, Hellblade 2 and Space Marine 2 were great shows. But the rest was not worth watching. Also they spoiled ER intro :( . Should have played Infinite instead.

and Atlus fucking sucks.

Oh neat that Wonder Woman is being done by Monolith, that means we get the nemesis system from the Mordor games since they patented that otherwise it you know just sits there dead

LMAO 93 dollars in Canada for the standard edition. Are they out of their fucking minds?!
You don't understand the genius of Square here. Normally many Steam users won't buy your game until it it hits deep discounts, right? And then you get, like, a lot less money for it. But if you charge twice what your game should be worth, then even if you give out a 50% discount, you still get lots of money.
This is brilliant, I think Square might have uncovered the secret to making infinite money on Steam.

70$ for a game that is not new is complete bullshit. Even XV which released on Steam 18 months after consoles was 50$. That is what FF7R should be. 50$ at most.

Also I remember a wise man once said the 12% cut will pass the savings down to the consumer. This must be the endgame.

At least poor indie developer Square-Enix will be able to survive another year thanks to the generosity of Epic.

I have big moral and sleep issues these days. No need to say, glad I didn’t suffer through this shit. And let’s be petty, I physically can’t stand the snake oil salesman at the forefront. 3+ hours of him ? Please, fam.

That being said, I can’t deny, I audibly squeaked at Space Marine 2. Unfortunate for the neighbors at 5am.
It’s not by the same dev though, right ?

Maybe I'm just a boomer, but I don't see what is so impressive about Forspoken that it commands one hundred and twenty dollars asking price. :flare_lmao:
Every time I saw Forspoken I felt nothing. Graphics are pretty and animations are slick and smooth, but I just can't get excited towards it. It's weird.

Yeah, it looks like one of those early-gen games that's ultimatetely little more than a glorified tech demo. It looks pretty but so far they haven't shown anything that actually looked like something worth playing.

S-E is on a roll today - This time the forspoken standard edition price.

Expecting the same price for FF7R on EGS

Lmao. 80 fucking euros? Square Enix can get absolutely fucked. I hope they continue to be outsold by JRPG juggernauts like checks notes Tales of Arise. Worthless company.
Considering their japanese games never go lower than 50% off I'll probably never buy this game.

Also lmao Atlus.
Like, don't get me wrong, I think getting the spin-offs is overall a good thing even though I'm personally not particularly interested in a Persona fighting game, but it would be nice if they first got the games out of the way, that are actually in demand.

And lol at releasing that game on Switch without P4G - same with PS4, but at least you can say the maingame technically was in the PS ecosystem at one point. So bizarre.

Hopefully this plus the continue improvements for their anti-cheat brings the playerbase back up.

I don't know what is worse: failing to read the demand like Sega, or being not afraid to take every anti-customer move like SQEX

I am surprised to find that Evil West looks like the most enjoyable game to play among all these games shown at the TGA. No bs, just straight to the point.

I think Square Enix is worse, but in a way Sega feels more frustrating. (But maybe that's just because Square has been shit for so long that I'm used to it).

I got Persona 4 Arena Ultimax and Sonic Frontiers isnt EGS exclusive so SEGA gets the fat W for me. Square can go fuck off into a ditch somewhere though

Fuck all the other announcements, I wake up to this...

Just a shame it seems to be the Smurfs this time around.

If by smurfs you mean the Tyranids Yeah but it was always the Ultramarines it's just been 10 fucking years since the first game lol

One of those I never expected this game to get a sequel but It's so awesome

Anyway, lots of stuff to play regardless of what Square Enix or Sega do or not do:

Currenly playing Crystar, Maneater and Sprit Hunter: Ng.
Still need to do the DLC episodes for FF 15.
I'm also itching to try a few more games I got from the Fanatical bundle(s) and the last Choice (Greak and 8Doors mainly).

Yeah, just changed it to again. It was DoW that had the Blood Ravens.

The Smurfs are just a bit too boring for me.
