There was a roundtable thing when the deal closed and they announced the gamepass lineup there.
which in that case was a bit less than six months after the deal was announced, but this acquisition is much, much larger, meaning significantly more regulatory hurdles to clear, so I'd expect it to take more than a year (for comparison, this is only slightly smaller than Disney buying Fox, and that one took 15 months from announcement to closing)

Yeah, this one will probably come in effect around mid-2023, and we will start to see xbox exclusive games afterwards. Safe to say that Honestly not in a hurry because I haven't bought one single AB game for a long time.

And I am playing PS2 games. :ROFLMAO:

I was hoping that they'd bring it to PC this year, but Xcloud will have to do for now.

Kind of a weak start to February, but I've already got stuff from January I want to play.

Best month in a long time for me, not that it was terrible before.
Edge of Eternity, Skul and Dreamscaper I really wanna play. Infernax maybe too, nerver knew about it.

Contrast and Besiege are nice too, but I already played them.

I would have liked Super Mega Baseball, even if it were cloud only.

Outside of WH3 it is a pretty weak lineup. I went ahead and grabbed WH3 on Steam since I already own the first two games and a ton of DLC on that platform. Also I wanted to get the ogre preorder bonus without paying extra in the future.

Fuck yeah on GOTG!

Also I have to say I love microsoft points! Ive been saving up for a custom controller but today I had to use 15 000 points to get 10€ at a local supermarket to get some food. Can't complain about "free" food.

Not happy about the nerf.

edit: Apparently it happened once before, maybe 2 years ago. It might be due to the month having 5 weeks to deal with.

looks like some shadowdrops coming from the ID@Xbox Twitch stream starting in a bit, possibly including Tunic

A Memoir Blue is curiously missing from this update, despite being announced as a Game Pass title and being dated for the 24th. Maybe it'll be in the ID@Xbox stream as well, idk

updated my post above now that the stream is over, I think I covered all the new Game Pass announcements but let me know if I missed any

no A Memoir Blue, oddly enough, though I assume it's still coming to GP next week unless Annapurna says otherwise

Been waiting for Lost in Random to hit EA Play so I'm pretty happy about that. I'll download Life is Strange True Colors, but who knows when I'll get around to playing it.

Chinatown Detective Agency is really cool, and absolutely not how I expected it to be. Lots of real world google searches involved, so be sure to add "-chinatown" or something to your searches if you don't want to hit a playthrough/help site every time :) Also, you can only manually save after Case 3, so be sure to take a comfy evening of time to try it out, for this to not be frustrating in hindsight.

Oozing with style and a lot of interesting characters and story bits so far.

They bumped up the price for PC Gamepass on Microsoft Rewards. Previously it was 6,800 points with level 2 whatever, now it's 7,750. Doing the math, it's still possible to get it for free, but there's less of a margin that lets your sub time keep growing.

looking forward to finally playing Bugsnax.

Played through Turnip Boy on Steam a few months back. Mechanically, it's pretty simple and doesn't do anything you haven't seen in a 2D Zelda-like before, but it makes for a nice, silly, short little game to play in between meatier titles.

RESEARCH and DESTROY's demo was very fun. Plays like Valkyrie Chronicles. Looking forward to it.

I'll play Bugsnax as well. I am not convinced the game is anything more than a meme, so it'll be nice to play it w/o any pressure.

But what about the pressure of the subscription ? :thinking-blob:
