I really like how Selen is sticking to her frequently rather eclectic selection of games to stream (outside of Apex obviously) even when going to a "mainstream" franchise.
Today she's streaming AssCreed, which isn't that unusual, right?
But it looks like she's actually streaming Assassin's Creed, as in, the first game released in 2007.

I like how Selen's Apex brain fucks her over once or twice a stream when muscle memory kicks in and she presses the wrong key.
Metro 2022 was ripe with this.

I'm also liking Elira's Xenoblade Chronicles streams. She makes fun of it but she gets right into it frequently and is love/hating the melodrama and the twists and turns. It's great.

Sounds like not much will change but it's sad to see them lose their local identities.
The question of whether Nijisanji main will promote Niji-ID & Niji-KR events and it being up the them sounds sad and i hope Nijisanji main channel promotes the ID & KR livers as much as possible. It might be that the ID livers create a show/event/tag that they use on their channels to group their joint content together like they would under Nijisanji ID & KR channels.

I'd hate it if HoloID and HoloEN were merged into Hololive totally and then lost their style, identity and voices.
I can see how it's great to have one big brand with a big family but not at the expense of local flavor. Let's see how it plays out.

Honestly, from a realistic perspective I can only see this move as consolidation of "failed" (in terms of revenue vs. overhead) branches in order to save cost.

I haven't checked too deeply because i don't want to dive into the cesspit channels of VTuber drama. but i think there was an increasing amount of drama and unhappiness in the Niji-KR branch. Main management probably looked into it and the financials and decided to merge. It might be totally unrelated and just a part fo the evolution of the company though. Nijisanji did just become an MCN so it might be related to that? No idea.

I didn't watch much Niji-KR but i know a few of the Niji-ID livers from collabs and they always seemed great fun.

I'll keep an eye out for FalseEyeD as they will probably have a video up at some point soon covering the merger and they are one of the few channels i trust for non-drama VTuber news.

Gintaro posted it earlier but it deserves reposting as Kizuna Ai is one of the OG Vtubers and the show had over a thousand vtubers involved.



Iora is having her last stream before her indefinate hiatus today too. She's a well loved but small vtuber.

I don't follow Rushia and the recent controversies all that much but this is terrible, their friendship is ruined over just a DM or whatever, and Rushia ended up at a worse place than everyone.

It's a terrible situation with poor decisions being made all around and all along the way but i'm hopeful they will end up talking again in the future and Rushia is already planning future activities. I know behind the scenes people are in touch with her and KSON said this...

The off-collab was really cool. And even more to hear Kronii going on about how much fun she had now that is back. I hope that her and Ina can collab, because it sounds like they really it off these two specifically. The only problem is Kronii's sleep schedule of course lol.

I'm a bit worried for Botan, last week she was in the hospital for 5-days and then 2 more at-home observation. Today she went back to Hospital. She's kept her illness a secret and says it isn't much to worry about, but the general feeling among SSRB is anxiety and support. Botan is strong. She once told a story about getting run over by a car and just shrugging it off... But still... hope she is truly ok and not just putting up a strong front. She said she'll be back from Today's hospital visit soon, and plans to stream Vampire Survivors at 9pm JP time.

Lately I watched A LOT of Pomu. Her Euro truck sim hijinks, 11 hours of Castlevania SOTN and 12 hours of MGR. She beat all of MGR without ever figuring out the parry system which is probably an achievement on it's own rights lol. Pomu puts out so much content at a blinding speed it's hard to keep up.

Selen and Demon's Souls... just lol. Her shooter brain is making this so much harder than it should be.

Saruei made herself another costume. A Dark Knight kinda getup for Elden Ring. She really enjoys all the souls games and soulslike she's been playing lately, so when she teased another one for ER's release day I kinda figured it would be a costume like that.

Anyway, that's that. A lot of my own time is going to ER lately.
