Hmmm, not sure what i think about this until i hear more details but it sounds like Kiara and Calli ( maybe the others too? ) will be actually having their first 3D performance behind the Holo Fes paywall? Essentially their 3D Debut but not?

( I suspect that Calli and Kiara have full body tracking kit so they can control their 3D models without being in Japan or Calli goes into the Holo Studio and Kiara has full tracking at home? But that's pure guesswork, no point wondering until they tell us more details but it kinda does take the edge off them all having a 3D debut together but eh, i'll get over it and be hyped when they all meet together in the future... hopefully. )

I always thought it was silly that they couldn't do 3D-rigging over the net or work something out. Maybe I just don't "get" how the rigging works, but there are independent V-Streamers with full 3D rigs which easily equal or surpass the 3D I have seen Cover Corp. produce. So if people can do it without the backing of a corp. and without having to be somewhere in person,I always wondered what the hold up was for the streamers backed by literal Corporation.

But then again I always have been a little sus about how Cover operates...

Interesting stat here. Pekora biggest Vtuber, and not by a little. Consider me surprised. I've never been recommended a Pekora clip or seen her except a few times when interacting with Botan.

I always thought Gura would be #1 considering that massive amount of subscribers she has.

Pekora almost always has a huge amount of live viewers, often above 20k in regular streams, plus she streams almost every day, and there have been a few times where she streamed multiple times in the same day too.

... and yep, Pekora has consistently been towards the top of the superchat charts. It's odd that you haven't been shown any links in recommended. Youtube took no time at all to start filling my recommendations with vtuber clips and streams back in the day. lol. All it took was some Hatsune Miku, Kizuna AI then Nyanners and AZKi and my recommendations have been awesome ever since.

I've worked out why i haven't bought any AZKi merch yet... they use TENSO and i don't have Passport or Driver's License so i can't sign up yet and it's really annoying and making me sad. Yeah, she's done a face reveal a long time ago too. I ended up just having the stream open and listening like a podcast as i was working and as i usually play games while Calli rambles on it was much like a normal stream to me, heh. Sure to be an unpopular opinion but, I found the DDKaren stream actually quite cringe. I tuned in a bit late but when I did, here is Calli whose neck deep in her own drama shit lately and poor decisions... Going on about "real" gamer girls, making fun of other streamers, and just being kinda petty and pathetic. "haha, I'm so different and quirky"

This lady has sunk so very low and it's a bit sad to see. I've never seen someone insist so hard they're above it all, and yet simultaneously continue to demonstrate just how much antis are living in her head rent free and how she's not actually above anything.

I also get the distinct impression she's actually started to hate the Hololive fanbase. Which is fair, I've said plenty lately about what I think about Hololive and the idol crap and a certain section of that fanbase. But she goes "oh don't worry, I love my fans" to keep her paychads happy. I'm guessing she'll hatefuck the HL-money train until she messes up socials again and Cover finally has enough or she feels like she has enough yesmen and merchsales on the DD brand to self-sustain there. (Or maybe she needs Cover to keep sponsoring her Visa.)

So that's a big sigh from me. She was my entry to ENtubers, and I definitely was a big supporter at the start, buying all the EP's and what not even at the height of import shipping prices in Covid season.

But every time I turn around she's digging down, not up. And I don't recognize this current Calli... She's really fallen off my radar and interest despite my best efforts to keep trying. But as she says so herself, "don't like it go elsewhere." So i have.

Turns out Selen is super competitive even in party games lol.

Also Vox did some voice acting, even imitating the Twitch TTS bot (perfectly somehow) and it was downright hilarious. Zen and him had quite the exchange. (Remember Zen uses TTS to communicate.)

This sucks. I feel her pain, my ISP does the same bullshit. >_< They don't care how much i download but upload is super throttled and limited. The moment I try to upload much they insist I upgrade to a "business" plan lol.

I could never be a streamer with my current ISP.

Definitely sucks for Ina, since this is something she loves to do so much....

Talking about original songs, I feel like Finana's Tsunami is a massive success. It's up to 323k views after barely 4 days, which makes it her most watched video ever by a huge margin. While there's nothing to really compare it to in terms of NijiEN individual original songs (I think?) I really wouldn't have expected that.

Pomu's "Hacking to the Gate" (which I personally like even more) is a cover and thus not directly comparable -- but while it's also doing well it's more within expectations IMHO.

I don't think there's an equivalent "Most Viewed" countdown for Niji songs and covers like there is for Holo. Not surprising with over 200 members though and NijiEN haven't released enough songs yet for people to bother tracking them outside of nerds on discord i assume.

"Hololive Songs" went on hiatus and "Hololive Songs Club" began and picked up where they left off.

I've been listening to my vods of the New Year's Karaoke streams and somehow Youtube has started recommending these mixes and mashups. Kronii and Mumei gel together so well. I've also found some Kronii Karaoke Supercuts so i'll grab them and the "Clean Audio" edits from HoloKaraoke Ch too. lol.

There's some brilliant clippers and mashup editors out there.
Hopefully soon when they have enough material out there and song overlaps i'll find some Niji-EN mashups too.

Leaflit is a Slime girl Vtuber from California. She used to work at NIS America. Her mom is also a Vtuber, "Asari" and they share the channel together. They are gaining traction slowly but surely. Not only are they nice designs but i've said it before they are all talented and have different vibes so there's someone or a couple of them for everyone to enjoy. Shiki is the runaway success here with 111k subs but she regularly puts out clips and videos talking about the other girls, bless her. I expect Luto to get a big bump when she returns after her move and uni graducation in a short while.

Yura from PRISM is playing ARK and Minecraft with KSON, Pikamee and the others so i hope more people start to get eyes on PRISM and those eyes then wander to the other groups they have a close relationship with. They collab a lot with Tsunderia and Phase Connect in fact i think they have an upcoming triple group Minecraft collab and we think they may have a joint server together.
