Aspyr has never produced a game of anything approaching this scale, mostly just straight ports of older games to modern platforms, with some indies here and there. They may have just bitten off more than they could chew here.
Similar to NightDive and SystemShock. Scope is more than initially expected for a dev with less experience at developing their own games from the ground up. When Disney rolls in, that's when it's serious
An ice-covered planet reminded me of Lost Planet series from Capcom. Back in the day I played them on 360.
Now I would like a remaster trilogy for modern machines lol. I guess LP2 is still banned from Sale on Steam it looks like...
Can we stop handing huge anticipated projects to studios that have never come close to developing anything of that sort? First I have to watch Bloodlines 2 collapse and now this.
I imagine working on fully remaking a Star Wars property with Disney oversight is substantially different from the usual contract work they do when porting older games from regular publishers to MacOS and mobile devices.
Heads up for those who bought "Humble Bundle: Deck Builder Bundle".
They removed tier 1$ game, Rounds and put instead another game on highest tier, Wingspan.
I personally don't like when they do this ninja changes and I fear this might be the first step to erase tier 1$ for upcoming bundles.
As far as I know from someone who bought full bundle, there are no retroactive changes for previous buyers, meaning no Wingspan in your account.

This church mystery has me wanting to clear Nier Automata out of my backlog. I remember a few years ago the idea was you wanted to install FAR to make the port serviceable, but last year the game was updated with a new build to match what was released on the Microsoft Store for Game Pass. Is there a similarly recommended mod to install now?

I fully expect the store page to go up only when it releases (bonus points if it goes up after it releases, wouldn't be the first time).
Multiversus runs pretty well on the Steam Deck which surprised me since it uses EAC and I didn't expect it to simply work out of the box on launch day. I played it for about an hour and had a decent time. It's fun, but the GAAS stuff is kind of lame and it doesn't feel as polished as Smash. Also I kept on trying to play it like Smash which made things awkward.
I don't care about reviews I never read them anyway, I want the game up on 3rd party stores but that isn't happening until the game is up on steam usually
Just make the window smaller and you're done. I guess you do live in a house the size of a small mansion?

Yup. It didn’t fix much but from my experience, an improvement still.
I ran it on my 4K TV without mods and had no issues at all.
Finally home again after five days, let's hope my games are not going places again anytime soon.
I've so far mostly used my steamdeck at work lul

Continuing dealing with Deck just installed and checked Stadia, GeForce Now and XBOX Cloud with MS Edge plus

parameter, quite decent input lag.
Controller is recognized without issues (you need to allow popups on GeForce to run well).
I doubt I'm gonna use it but it's nice to be there
I hope MS one day allow us to play our full purchased collection on the cloud (seems it's rumored).
Capcom Stadium 2 finally works now on Deck with proton up 27.
Time to play PSP Eternal Punishment translation ^^.

More indoor stuff sounds good! I hope they include a bit more RPGy stuff like in San Andreas. So that it really feels like a world that one lives in.
At this point just skip it I think, the open world of that game isn't that impressive anymore.
