This looks pretty well made, though I'm not sure if flying like that can be as conductive to fun as the Crazy Taxi games' driving. Then again that concept kinda ran its course itself so maybe this extra dimension is what it needs to feel a bit fresh again, I never found the regular sequels as exciting as the first game was.
Same. I kept buying Crazy Taxi sequels on DC/XB but none of them came close to capturing the magic of the original.

Got a bit gushy (deservedly, imo) over Taxinaut a page or so back, but that's more Euro Truck in Spaaaace than the arcade nature of MHT.

But if you wanna talk serious hype, AstroTrucks is just hitting ALL the buttons for me.

(fingers crossed)

HEY EVERYONE, JUMP IN!!!

More randomness on the way today! I'm not feeling 100% following my fourth covid shot last night so I might be a little low energy at times but we'll still have some fun I'm sure. :cuteblob:

And one more reminder about the charity streaming coming up on Sunday. I'll make a proper post talking solely about that soon and give a rundown of some of the ideas I have for it.

In the meantime however..

We'll be starting in a few minutes!

Volvo really are a pretty good company.

I lost the power plug for my Index and emailed support to ask where to get another one.

Today I received a new plug in the post. Not sure there are many companies out there that would just send you a replacement bit of kit off the back of a simple enquiry.

Thank you Gaben. :steam_cleanseal:

Protag from Armed Fantasia, drawn by the character designer themselves.

With these belts, I wonder if his balls hurt.
I guess it's a good thing that it's not like Fire Emblem where you can have offspring because yeah.....

PS for those of you that collect anime figures and stuff like me, take advantage of the weak yen, 1/4 scale figures shipped from Amazon JP and I imagine from other places are also being sold for just under $200USD. As a comparison 1/7 scale figures are some times between $120-$150

I think the Steam daily users chart is the most interesting thing about the stats overhaul as it shows info we never really had before. For example, I never knew Stumble Guys was so popular it would be the 12th most played game by DAU. Also Rocket League being in the top 20 despite not being available on Steam for over two years is very impressive. I pretty much looked only at CCU to determine the popularity of a game, but the daily chart has given me a new perspective.

For being the biggest PC platform and one of the biggest gaming platforms and being a private company, Valve provides a ton of transparency for how games are dooing.

Which is great. I know there is some teeth gnashing about how having charts will lead to "dead game" and "flop" conversations, but I'll take that for the sake of transparency. Compared to console and other PC stores, it's refreshing to have so much data. Mobile stores actually have super detailed charts and information, but I couldn't care less about mobile gaming. :shrugblob:

NEO TWEY is half off on EGS. Curious on a Steam release.
1 year mark will be next week or next one. We shall see.

Yeah, the more you check it, the more new things you notice, it's absolutely amazing :D

FF7R had a sale on EGS just before the Steam release. KH had a sale and at the time I speculated it was a last hurrah for the EGS version.

So I guess it could go either way for Neo TWEWY. Would be telling if they dump it on Steam after 12 months but still don’t release KH.

I guess if NEO drops on Steam after this sale and KH doesn't do that, either there's something else I don't know about or the contract is something unique compared to all the other Exclusivity deals.

A flop is a flop.
But the opposite is a boon. Many games without stat page always have the issue that you don't know how healthy the multiplayer is. And some games who are not a smash hit but steadily healthy are labeled flops because you can't see how healthy they are.

The things right now keeping me away from getting KH on EGS is actually that the sales KH is getting on EGS is still bad, I own 1.5 + 2.5 HD on Playstation and played KH3 + ReMind on Xbox Game Pass long time ago.

I still think Square Enix are sitting on it until they want to speak more about Kingdom Hearts. FF7R on Steam released as part of their celebration and announcement of Rebirth.

Kingdom Hearts on Steam might be waiting until more KH4 info is released, such as platform and more details on when its releasing.

Neo TWEWY doesn’t have a rumoured or announced sequel, and given it bombed it’s probably not getting one either, so they could just dump it on Steam the day the contract expires.

But I guess it could be a different contract for KH that’s holding it up. While SE are insane, I don’t think they’re insane enough to sign a lifetime one with Epic.

The whole point of these companies doing exclusivity is it’s low risk: if the game bombs on EGS they’ve got the Steam version in 3/6/12 months to fall back on. And Epic would’ve had to have paid a fortune for lifetime exclusivity on something like KH. It’s a popular IP and it’s owned by Big Mouse.

It will be funny if the CEO of Bungie wishes that Destiny worked natively on Steam Deck now that he has one.

It's funny because you do see a number of Bungie employees with one and them suggest that you either install Windows or use Gamepass cloud to play it.

Ohh Bungie......

Valve: Bungie who?

Respawn is my best friend.
