32GB ram means nothing, take a bet the most it will use is 10.
Bigger issue is UE4, hopefully they sort that out like Sackboy.
Midnight Suns is very fun. I never get tired of wrecking Hydra goons with a bunch of awesome abilities.
It might just be mine too. Obviously it helps if you are a Marvel fan but I even liked the social/friendship stuff which I thought I'd probably hate. Combat is super fun and exploring the Abbey grounds was surprisingly compelling.
I guess final previews are going up for Forspoken and this game feels like latest the case of "When a game tells you what it is, believe it". I still see people thinking it'll be good despite a mountain of evidence suggesting otherwise, just like with other recent games like gotham knights even though every video blatantly spelled out how the game was going to be. Forspoken in particular has been so heavily marketed and now has a 4-5 HOUR demo too and there's still going to be people somehow surprised that it gets like a low 70s average.
I have been cautiously optimistic about Forspoken, but the demo was so mediocre that I will likely never play the game.
Ill just warn you all beforehand lest someone complains, but anyone who posts screenshots or videos of that ricknmorty game will forever go on my blocklist.

So... Forspoken is a thing, eh?
I didn't like FF15, and there's a lot that feels like it in this game. Sadly, they took a good chunk of it for just general movement and attacks, it feels like playing through molasses, everything has a really annoying delay... I think you can get used to it, but man I don't like it.
On the other hand, the magic combat system is super interesting and surprisingly varied, with some very Elden Ringesque feel to it, so I'm torn on the gameplay... but then... it's just another empty open world, pretty for sure, and you move fast... but still.
I didn't have hours to complete the demo (fair enough of SE, they certainly don't hide what their products are), but I'm just left really mixed, and I expect that to be the case for a lot of people.
Maybe the story and the combat can hold things together?
In other news, I dig what I've seen of High on Life. It's not like we're drowning in comedic shooters, and it looks like first person Ratchet with some metroidvania elements and really, really stupid humor.
I don't mind that, that's the intent of it, and the shooting sounds pretty nice for... weird ass weapons like those, plus little puzzles, platforming and parkour in ultra colorful levels? I'm all for it.
If it's not dragged down by the pacing and the jokes don't get too old( they will.), hey, why not.

Not like I'm expecting anything since it's Ubisoft but I find it so weird because both AC Origins and Odyssey had Steam achievements/cards and here they can't be arsed to do the bare minimum and then just give an empty response.

Having a good time with Jedi Fallen Order now that I've unlocked a bunch of abilities and the levels are fun to explore.
Really looking forward to revisiting TW3. It's one of my favorite games of all time but I only played it once at launch. Haven't gone back to it since I finished the last expansion.

Lol so they went from "we have no plans to implement Steam achievements at this time" then basically edited the post to remove the "at this time", making it even more of a definitive no, to now "we're looking into it, ok?! please shut up!"

That's something I suppose. I don't expect them to actually get their heads out of their asses and implement them but I also didn't expect them to give enough of a shit about the backlash to budge even this much so who knows.

Made it to NY safe(ish) and sound. Still struggling very much to find a place though. It's tough. Currently my whole existence is cramped into a corner of my Sister's dining room as I try to take up as little space as possible. Got my bed on the floor and maybe a foot of space on either side lol. But I'm alive. It took nearly every cent I had to get back. Trying to find some work and place of my own. Super-duper stressed so I might not talk much for a while.

I really want Gears Tactics and Dark Deity, and Star Renegades is a relatively nice bonus, I guess. BUT that's backlog fodder at its finest, I won't play Star Renegades, and I have many higher quality Tactics to play before either Gears or Dark Deity.
So why shell 10+ out. 10+ that could go for something that I may play sooner.
