It seems fair if Valve counts in-game purchases for paid games as well.Weekly top sellers including free games seems kinda silly, no?

Weekly top sellers including free games seems kinda silly, no?
thing is that top sellers is revenue based so MTX are counted in, which completely breaks the inclusion of standalone purchases as top will always be full of F2P games with microtransactions that are extremely popular, oh well...Weekly top sellers including free games seems kinda silly, no?
update on both game and life, starting with the shortest, both literally and it taking the shortest:update on real life stuff, and some game stuff to keep this in topic

They are gonna need to work on a lot post launch for any of it to mean anything. They'll have to constantly generate some type of new static or procedural quests to get the GaaS stuff flowing. Its easy for the big games out there like Destiny, Fortnite etc because they have a large playerbases. What happens when Justice Leagues launches to a 100k concurrent and then a few weeks later drops to like 10k or some shit. If the game doesn't review well and doesn't have big playerbase at launch....then most devs slow their work down and eventually it all falls apart. I don't have faith in a large community keeping this game going. There are better and more established GaaS games out there. And you are playing as the Suicide Squad. They aren't even superheroes they are just C-tier villains who shoot guns. If this was an actual Justice League game it would have been different I think. But even then there are no guarantees as that Avengers game shit the bed too. This gameplay looks like shit to me but it's obvious they are modeling it exactly like Destiny where, yes, people do daily grinds killing samey enemies month after month after month. And that game is super popular.
People around the internet seem to think this is going to bomb like Avengers or Anthem and they might be right, but I think there's an equal chance it will find success because, again, the looter shooter genre is quite popular.
It's really impressive how many simulators Playway is pushing out. I mean, how many different farming simulators do they have now? And I'm not only talking about annual entries, but different farming simulator "franchises" so to speak.
Yeah I agree that the success of the game will depend on how it is supported past launch and how they are able to attract players away from other GAAS games. There are obviously a lot of challenges ahead of it.They are gonna need to work on a lot post launch for any of it to mean anything. Just refer to it as the Subpar squad thenHonestly, there's one big issue that I see completely ignored on gaming forums that gaming content-creators on YouTube and Twitch have been signaling about for quite a while.
The name is algorithm poison.
The words "Suicide Squad" are a straight up risk of Demonetization and Algorithm Hell to have anywhere near a video. I have a genuine feeling that this is going to be the next Phantasy Star Online 2, that is to say, gaming content-creators are going to completely black-hole the game unless WB is fronting a generous amount of money for them to do a stream or video of it, to the tune of "Make up for the fact that YouTube will instantly demonetize this."
...At the very least I'm reasonably confident the problems are really only going to be on the YouTube side of the equation (Because of the game's name), unlike PSO2 which is outright Twitch Poison because of all the outfits that'll get you TOS'd for showing on your stream on top of all the people using the Symbol Art creator to post hentai ingame.
This may not help you much (at least currently) but we are here. Don't feel alone.anyways, here's the other part about my life: "If you were a better person, you wouldn't be here."
i'm not gonna ellaborate, but trust me, i'm feeling just fine amigos
In an interview with the Japanese outlet Dengeki, MAGES Director Makoto Asada suddenly announced that a brand-new Corpse Party game is in development with a planned worldwide launch.
There is only one, it's the one Valve released months agoSo the "best" result should hopefully be 3 different top sellers?
1. All revenue
2. Paid games with MTX
3. Paid games without MTX
or 5?
1. All revenue

3. Paid games that have MTX but MTX are not counted
4. Paid games that have no MTX and paid games that have MTX, but MTX are not counted

What about Remember11? IMHO it's the most interesting one thematically but sadly felt a bit incomplete.the Infinity visual novel series, which comprised of Never7 and Ever17
Hmm, interesting. I hadn't given much thought to GF Now for some time. Can it really play at 120fps ?Over the weekend I tried out the new Geforce Now with 4080s. Running Cyberpunk on 90 fps 4k with all Raytracing options enabled (but with DLSS3 frame generation turned on) was certainly an upgrade from my desktop experience last year (1440p with some Raytracing, around 40-50 fps with DLSS2 on my 3700x/2700). Screen refresh was only 60Hz though as my 2700 does not have HDMI 2.1. Still, image quality was much improved compared to my desktop. Even looking up closely, I could not detect artifacting - did Nvidia switch codecs to AV1 already? I was impressed (that was on wired Gigabit cable).
I think I am gonna sub for 6 months when this first 20ā¬/month runs out. Seems like a good way to compliment my Steam Deck where I mostly play games nowadays. Saving me the obscene prices both Nvidia and AMD want for a meaningful upgrade to my nearly three year old GPU...

Geforce Now on the Deck should work using the same workouround to get Xcloud running /w Edge.Hmm, interesting. I hadn't given much thought to GF Now for some time. Can it really play at 120fps ?
And what about Steam Deck, is there any way to use the service on it ?
sadly, it doesn't just feel incomplete, it is incomplete, the dev ran out of money :/What about Remember11? IMHO it's the most interesting one thematically but sadly felt a bit incomplete.
How possible is a Battletech 2 announcement?Curious to see what Harebrained has been up to.
Worth noting that the original Ishin was released right between Yakuza 5 and 0, an evolution of the formula was not going to happen here.Playing Ishin has made me realize that I'm over the yakuza series. This has to be the stalest franchise going right now, one that copy/pastes about 70-80% of the content in each game while only adding 1 or 2 marquee new minigames that get the limelight (business stuff, cabaret, go karting etc) but these are never really well done or in depth. In ishin the big new features from what I can see is managing a unit of troops that you equip as cards and you run the most basic looking, repetitive dungeons you can imagine like 30+ times. The other mode is a life sim thing where you grow crops and cook things...that's really it. The rest of the game is a carbon copy of other yakuza minigames minus stuff that wouldn't exist in those days like the arcade. Even the sub stories in these games have gotten so formulaic you can predict how they'll all go (kiryu enters situation, surprise twist the zaniest thing you can think of happens, you fight a few baddies who interfere, story ends with a heartwarming cliche about appreciating friends/family or not judging people for their hobbies)
This stuff was cool for a while but between 0-6, like a dragon, two judgement games, a fist of the north star game that played like this and now Ishin it's broken me. I need an evolution of this formula and world.
Not adding achievements to Shadowrun Returns or controller support to the Shadowrun trilogy after the console releaseCurious to see what Harebrained has been up to.
Well MS still have the Videogame licence for Battletech and this is an MS joint announvement...How possible is a Battletech 2 announcement?
Asking for a friend
I think this is the first time I'm not interested in a good game just because of the art style.
After the success of BATTLETECH comes another beloved mecha franchise: ... ... ... EARTHSIEGE! (for anyone who remembers it)Curious to see what Harebrained has been up to.
