What if... Harebrained is working on the 20 years in the making sequel to Freelancer.

I'd settle for a Freelancer rerelease honestly
It's too bad, it's one the best platformers in ages. If you like that Wario style of gameplay anyway. Also it is straight up better than even the best Wario games.
I think this is the first time I'm not interested in a good game just because of the art style.

Poor peeps at Obsidian, even they confuse Outer Worlds with Outer Wilds"this remastered masterpiece"...
looks cool
So the devs behind Nehrim/Enderal have an RPG in early access.

I guess Lost Planet 2 still has itIs this the last Capcom game that had Windows Live support?
Yes, thats totally fine! Portable gaming devices are allowed in-flight, just make sure to leave it in flight mode/turn off all connectivity while on the plane.Dumb question of mine. I'm traveling outside of the US, I'm taking a flight, I'm also taking a flight back to the US. I was not sure if I would be allowed to take a 3DSXL, or headphones as a carry on item.

Also Street Fighter X Tekken.I guess Lost Planet 2 still has it
Honestly Im not sure there is still much hype for Beyond Good and Evil 2, after all this time. With such a long development cycle, you kinda lose the connection to the first game at some point. No wonder lots of comments on the Eurogamer article were either "I thought this was cancelled already?" or "they should just cancel this". I know, I know, they restarted development a few times, but it does not change the fact that a game called Beyond Good and Evil 2 was announced 53 years ago and still has not been released yet.I need to play Beyond good and evil 1 to understand the hype for the sequel.
BGE1 is just such a good game. I always loved it but it didn't set the world on fire at the time, but gained a bit of a cult following later. Kind of reminds me of Psychonauts in that sense.I need to play Beyond good and evil 1 to understand the hype for the sequel.
I may give it another chance as the bad performance was a turn off for me.I guess they must have updated the Wo Long demo on Steam because I tried it yesterday and it ran well.
Yeah, in retrospect, BG&E2 never really had a chance. Maybe right at the very beginning, when it was first conceived/announced (about 5 years after the first game), it's possible that they could have come up with something similar to the first game. But then two years later Assassin's Creed 2 released, the Ubisoft formula was invented and the rest is history. Delusional fans like me kept hanging on to slivers of hope that it could still be a good game while Michel Ancel was leading the project, and then he left too. The truth is, though, that Ubisoft is not a company of auteurs. In fact, they are the exact opposite; the quintessential factory line of video game production. They make the same game over and over, just with different skins. There are games out now made by three people that have more creativity, heart and ambition than a 3000 person Ubisoft production.BGE1 is just such a good game. As for the sequel, I don't think there's any hype for it. Not for the game they are making at least, it's not the sequel people wanted. At this point I'm mostly just curious now if it ever comes out and what it ends up being.
There was some hype for it when they originally teased it million years ago at this point, but that was a different Ubisoft back then too.
This is what I am most excited to see. I am hoping it's a CRPG. I really thought the Shadrowrun games were great, but a World of Darkness CRPG would be amazing.Curious to see what Harebrained has been up to.
It was even more or less confirmed at TGA, right ?The fact that a DLC was i development was 99% likely even before the announcement.
A World of Darkness CRPG would be a dream. It would be nice if it had higher production values and more depth than the Shadowrun games. Not that they were bad but it was obvious they were low budget crowdfunded projects. A project with the kind of budget that Divinity Original Sin 2 got would be amazing. This is what I am most excited to see. I am hoping it's a CRPG. It tells me a lot because by now i had already given up on there being one.I'm happy about more ER, but that announcement really doesn't tell us anything. No release window, and not even much hint at what the content will be.

Im still sitting on the preorder of the Bloodmoon edition that i got for 15 bucks in an error.no mention of Bloodlines 2 in that Paradox tease
RIP I guess
yup thats pretty much it ... but that was only my impression after few beta misions , done during the night when i couldn sleepI saw prudis take on Phantom Brigade demo in the next fest thread and I kinda agree, not totally convinced. For my part I would say that while I was skeptical, the time mechanics works pretty well, but it remains a little too complex and convoluted for me.
i ahd that too , but in due time i refunded that during some steam saleIm still sitting on the preorder of the Bloodmoon edition that i got for 15 bucks in an error.
It'll become my very own Duke Nukem Forever it seems
Propaganda! The music in BG&E was so incredibly lit. But yeah, after all this time and without the original creator, meh, might be better off buried.

All I want is a fucking Front Mission riff off.
Maybe I should play Battletech.
Yeah Far Cry 6 is the one Ubisoft game I'm kinda interested in. I guess it will come eventually. With all the latest Ubisoft games coming back to Steam I'm surprised Far Cry 6 hasn't been announced yet
From a business perspective I have no idea why they're still funding this game. It makes no sense.Yeah, in retrospect, BG&E2 never really had a chance. There isn't a chance in hell that BG&E2 will be anything like it's predecessor or what it's fans want it to be.
Ubisoft has shit the bed on a historic scale;
This game has worse prospects than even Star Citizen. Fucking hell.
