Gotta clear out the old 4080 stock so they can immediately make it obsolete when they release the 5090 in a few months or something.Cheap bastards couldn't afford a 4090?
And even when talking about that old doujin game, just compare it to the remake released in March and see how much difference all these years can make. Presentation, gameplay, ambition, size, pace. All of them have been greatly expandedNot to mention the studio's only project before that was a single doujin game
A friend of mine from Japan who is 40+ plays steam games exclusivly. Mostly Indie games.List of games mentioned

- More gacha games
- Battle Royale mobile games
- Apex Legends
- Splatoon

- And some tradition single player games
Oh yeah, many in this video have mentioned MH games.A friend of mine from Japan who is 40+ plays steam games exclusivly. Mostly Indie games.
Another one who follows me on Threads been recently playing wizardry gacha, remnant 2, monster hunter worlds
You can make a bingo card for every big game's releaseWhile the ADL is extremely sus, this is spot on. Steam forums are up to the brim with bigots and nothing ever gets done.
Nice, I have the same handheld and I quite enjoy it. I bought it as a prelude to my turn towards handhelds, to see if I enjoy gaming on such a form factor. Turns out, I very much do. I am still on stock though, is Crossmix worth installing?I bought a Trimui Smart Pro as a companion for the Deck during singles day for 50 EUR. I have always been a fan of the PSP formfactor and this thing doesn't disappoint. It feels premium and the screen is pretty decent. Installed CrossMix on it and it can play pretty much everything upto Dreamcast. It also has moonlight installed for inhouse streaming which works surprisingly well. Only downsize so far is that it has no L3 and R3 capabilities and the screen is smudge city.
I also bought a R36S, which I will give away to my nephew as a gift. It was only 20 EUR and provided a ton of value at that price-point, but playing on it was not comfortable at all.. Bit to cramped for my hands.
Software wise, Portmaster is really awesome. That these little devices can run so many games out of the box is pretty awesome.
It's depressing, they have to be everywhere on steam, and they are always looking for it too, always eager to make drama. You can make a bingo card for every big game's release
"IS THIS GAME WOKE?!?"
"DAMN, THIS GAME INFECTED WITH DEI CHARACTERS!"
"ANOTHER GAME RUINED BY SWEET BABY?!?"
etc.
Not only that but this user got warned about this some time ago for the same reason, again, if they want to keep doing this, either do it on a different thread or create a new one, but don't overflow this one, and again, SAY WHY YOU ARE SHARING THEM ffsSo I have noticed that a few users are posting multiple Steam links to various games in a single post, presumably via some sort of bot. Since there is a separate thread for new Steam releases, is there any point to this besides cluttering up the thread? If it was a recommendation for a specific thread I would welcome it, like "hey guys I saw this game and it looks cool, here's the link and a brief explanation". But just spamming links with no other content in the post? I am personally ignoring these users. I really don't want to but it's just spam at this point.
It has better performance in N64,PSP and Dreamcast games and some misc tweaks like build in scraping. I would say it is worth it if you are not satisfied with the performance of those platforms.Nice, I have the same handheld and I quite enjoy it. I think it may be better to have a separate thread for these and post here only the ones that really standout?I actually dig through the discovery queues by hand, and I only post what I think could be fun, I also sometimes post stuff that isn't my cup of tea but has a neat premise or theme...
I also dig through these by these tabs in the steam client!

The vaults in fallout games. I will never forget my Gary experience in Fallout 3. They scared me shitless. What games make you feel like this?
Playing the first Diablo for the first was so much this. I loved that feeling of it, going deeper and deeper and discovering. Sure in hindsight there wasn't so much to discover, but didn't know that back then! What games make you feel like this?
Thanks for replying, I am happy to hear that you are handpicking the games. I would suggest that you change your format a bit though. A couple of recommendations with a brief handwritten explanation are much more meaningful I feel than just a bunch of links.I actually dig through the discovery queues by hand, and I only post what I think could be fun, I also sometimes post stuff that isn't my cup of tea but has a neat premise or theme...

Thanks, you two! For being understanding, and for the positive feedback! I will try to limit the amount of games per post and be a bit more verbose than not writing an explanation and or reasoning...Thanks for replying, I am happy to hear that you are handpicking the games. Found this fanart of D1Playing the first Diablo for the first was so much this. I loved that feeling of it, going deeper and deeper and discovering.
Yeah it really is a great source of discovery. Even this set of 6-8 new game page links per day is a tiny fraction of what is actually releasing on Steam, so I'm grateful someone is actually looking at everything and then choosing a set of what they feel might be of interest to this community.I can't tell you the number of upcoming releases that I've Wishlisted based on a store page link and a few screenshots in these threads.
Mind you a lot of these are titles that will NEVER be mentioned on message boards. Ever.
And that's where the true value lies.
Admittedly I do blow past posts that are just store links with nothing else.
But the ones with actual pictures instantly tell me if this "undiscovered" release is something worth clicking into the store page for.
And it's a great discovery resource in that regard.
That's the key for me. If it's just a store link embed, I barely register it and scroll past unless I recognise the IP. But for those that add screenshots and/or a description I've wishlisted plenty thanks to these threads and I doubt I would ever have seen some of them anywhere else.I can't tell you the number of upcoming releases that I've Wishlisted based on a store page link and a few screenshots in these threads.

X labs in STALKER games. What games make you feel like this?
If that’s the case we’re probably also getting the Half Life 2 update Valve has been working on.
Half-Life 2 documentary is (probably) dropping today.
I never win in such things so stopped caring but here you go, these guys are giving a 4090 and probably have smaller audience than Nvidia so higher chances.Cheap bastards couldn't afford a 4090?
It passed FFXVI, it reached a peak of 37.2k today, I guess it'll break 40k or even 50k during the weekend?Comparing today's DQ3 peak with tomorrow's will give us a good idea on how much Steam grew in Japan
Dragon Quest 3 is already the DQ with the highest peak on Steam but tomorrow numbers will be the interesting ones for the reason above
Then we can safely say Steam is successfully growing in japan. Incredible how things changed in just a few yearsIt passed FFXVI, it reached a peak of 37.2k today, I guess it'll break 40k or even 50k during the weekend?
Yeah, me too. Found several games to wishlist and buy from Lashmans post which included screenshots.I can't tell you the number of upcoming releases that I've Wishlisted based on a store page link and a few screenshots in these threads.

Is this why it's missing Steam and releasing exclusively on EGS?ngl Infinity Nikki looks like it was AI generated
To me that's basically why I play most games, for the mystery and discovery. What games make you feel like this?
