So I am in Chapter 2 and I just been going around collecting items and stuff. I noticed I can't go to Blackwater (|| because wanted there from intro) ||) but I am wondering if I want to get the legendary animals there - can I use the trapper and the fence in thieves landing?

Keep in mind, haven't really done any missions and I am in Chapter 2. I will most likely take a boat around Blackwater, will I have my horse? I guess if I stay near shore and whistle that works?

Or save and reload - my horse will be there?
Googled 'game location Blackwater' and I guess you are talking about Red Dead 1 or 2.

Jeehaw! :minos_cow:

I already had some of the games in that bundle; I assume I can just give the keys I can't use to someone who can.

So, if anyone wants Crysis Remastered, Doom, or Prey, here they are:

I took Doom 2016, thank you! This is great, because I never bought it on Steam since i already owned it on playstation and double dipping feels bad. Doom is best played on PC, however.

Tier 3 - $19
System Shock (2023)
STAR WARSβ„’: Dark Forces Remaster
Crysis 3 Remastered

Tier 2 - $14
Crysis 2 Remastered
Prey (2017)

Tier 1 - $10
Crysis Remastered
DOOM (2016)
Seeing SS and Prey labeled as shooters feels wrong. In a way they are right but it just doesn't sit well with me.

"Mate" can mean about 12 different things in England
As every non-native on the planet says, "English is a funny language"
I wonder why it's excluded from family sharing, is it going to have some weird online requirement?
Ever since family sharing overhaul came under publisher consciousness, they've been trying to exclude their games from family sharing.

Why are all the enemies in Stalker 2 such incredible bullet sponges?

I can live with the bugs and and the performance, but i can't live with a mutant getting 10 shotgun shells to the face at point blank range and then one shotting me right after

Wouldn't happen in Farming Sim 25

I think they wanted to make them smart, but that didn't work out (at least for launch) so they applied the quick bandaid of high health and spawning in anywhere to still have the intended difficulty and tension... hard to blame them in their situation but i'm waiting and hoping for patches.

More Aquaplus on Steam. 11 years since the console release for this one
More obscure fighters on Steam, please!

So, like a true S.T.A.L.K.E.R. experience?
Mutants always have been way more bullshit than regular enemies.
They just increased the price in my region by ~95%

Same in India too.
Why do they love punishing legit customers?!

I saw a tweet that was a blast from the past. Basically it was about how western devs are bad at optimization and Japanese devs are better at it, which is why there games are smaller in size. ... Oh how simple those times were, now Japanese devs are just as bad.

A lot of it has to do with how Western video games were over 100GB in size and how you also have Japanese games that are also well over 100GB in size. Stuff like Metaphor is something like 90GB!!!!!! When stuff like Persona 5 Royal is under 50GB.

It's a remake of a PS2 game but P3R is about 30GB

dragons Dogma 2 is less than 70GB on PC I believe, so I'm not sure what Metaphor is doing.

The point really having to do with how games from that era were less than 40GB and now they are 2X as much regardless of where the dev is from.

remembering the "concerns" in forums about the small 7GB size of Skyrim and if the game was a small and short entry in the Elder Scrolls because of it.

Since abandoning disks and their size restrictions, devs never learned, abandoned, or forgot how to be efficient with file size.
The same with engine developers, 90% of all size issues are with the bloat that comes with UE5

Mind you, I don't care about bringing disks back, but there should still be an effort to make the game size more efficient.

This is the real issue IMO. Engine bloat, middleware bloat, audio bloat, etc.

Games are being translated more than ever and getting audio on more languages than before, all good things but audio takes disc space and if the devs aren't designing it smartly you'll have 5 languages and 30GB on your desk that does nothing for you.

Yeah, with digital distribution, there is no reason to pack in all languages in the install size.
At least some games have a separate High texture pack download that they are not packing into the main game.

I agree. Those damn Bloodsuckers have become insane even on easy and are a complete nightmare on hard. Killing mutants with a shotgun was so much fun in the earlier games. They need to tone it down quite a bit.

The fun thing about multiple audio languages being packed into the main install is that at least on Steam there are multiple ways to handle it without forcing the user to download too too many extra audio tracks, or FMV videos as was the case with FF13.
And the same actually goes for other things too. I imagine it would be pretty dope for Deck users for example if a they could opt into only downloading smaller texture depot that made more sense for the Deck hardware. Like we can have a separate high res texture pack, seems only sensible that the opposite should also be true.

Not just for Deck even, it's not like everyone is playing with state of the art GPU's with 24gigs of VRAM.

I thought that was already the case but devs just don't use that feature.

She is back for one more sale?

I'm not sure if she will be featured in the Winter sale though. The last artist was also only featured in 3 different sales as well.
