Finally turned on my Deck and returned to a visual novel that I abandoned long time ago. I went to load screen and discovered that the previous save was created exactly one year ago.

It's time to admit it: Unreal Engine 5 has been kind of rubbish in most games so far, and I'm worried about bigger upcoming projects
Stalker 2 has made me look back and realize that maybe it was a mistake to make Epic Games' Unreal Engine 5 become an industry standard for the next decade.

Let's hope that other outlets also start calling out Epic's piss-poor job at Unreal Engine optimization. They keep introducing new visual features while the engine becomes even slower, buggier and more stuttery.
