Whoa , what a great update
Anti-gravity racing has just landed in the GRIP universe!

Oh yes, this update brings you 15 formidable new vehicles taken from those that you already know and love and fused them together with anti-gravity technology.

Carefully engineered to be strong competition against their ground-based brethren, these vehicles offer a fantastic new racing experience exclusive to GRIP. Not quite Rollcage, not quite Wipeout, but an amazing new hybrid that will set the whole genre on fire.

Head to the garage right now and grab yourself a new ride, then hit the races and slice through the air like never before. Ladies and gentlemen, we give you, AirBlades.

SEGA acquired Two Point Studios (Two Point Hospital, if the name does not give it away already :p) .
Not a fan of Two Point Hospital, but no one can deny that it was a game very well made and the dev support was pretty good too. Excited to see what other sims TP can bring to the table.

It's annoying that these days I read about this and one of the first things that goes through my head is "So, this increases or decreases the changes of an EGS deal?"

Regardless, I'm happy that Two Point Hospital appears to have been successful. I really did enjoy the game (and played for 65+ hours) but it has room for several improvements so I hope the deal give them the resources to really deliver on their next project.

I should probably buy the expansions and return to the game. Their post-launch support has been great.

where's my Two Point Movie Studio, goddammit?!? :p

Two point Movies!
goddammit! ;)

i'd say it's about the same really ... except now if they get to SEGA - they'll get all SEGA games, not just future Two Point games

but i guess it at least decreases the chances of epic buying the studio (which would make those games exclusive forever)

I should probably buy the expansions and return to the game. Their post-launch support has been great.
you really REALLY should

And I'm not worried about the PC version, given all the millions the DS series made for Bamco on PC.
FTFY ;)

and yeah, i'm not worried about the port either ... they probably have QLOC on it as usual

Just completed Wandersong :)

That game is just plain lovely through and through, wonderful :)
i really need to get back to it (and 100 other games i really really need to finish, lol)

I finished up Psychonauts last night. Great game, and a shame it took this long for me to finally get it out of my backlog. Although it was weird playing it in 1440p at nearly 200fps, then having it drop to much lower res and 30fps for the cutscenes.

Also featuring the Dark Souls of giant Meat Circuses.

X1 is decent difficulty and there is no shame in using a guide to go thru stages and get upgrades along the way. Generally any of us who played the Megaman games have a set order to clear the stages in.

Edit- here is a freebie, chill penguin should be the first boss you got against since you get the dash boots from that stage. His pattern is easy and can be defeated woth a little patience.
From there you could go to Mandrill or Storm Eagle. Storm eagle can be beaten with the x buster and while stage can seem difficult due to platforming, his weapon makes clearing later stages much easier.
Mandrill is weak to Ice weapon btw.
I had an achievement guide help me find locations of items since I can't remember half of that crap (including hadoken) so I managed to do everything and make it up to wolf sigma but he kicked my ass for an hour before I gave up for now. Each hit you take takes like a quarter of your health almost and that's with all the upgrades and armor.

I would've liked to complete it, too, since it is a very wholesome game. :steam_pigblanket:

Got a bug at the beginning of Act 4 though where it wouldn't load correctly and the puzzle element of act 3 was terrible and I wasn't in the mood of playing the beginning of the game just yet. Maybe later down the road.

Went on a backlog killing spree and managed to raise my completion average from 50% to 51%. Major victory. Will continue to whittle away at those pesky games where for some reason or another I only got one or two achievements, while throwing in a short one here and there like GNOG (awesome, can also recommend Vignettes) right now.

So far all their books I own have been excellent (with Art of Point-and-Click Adventures and NEOGEO: A Visual History being my favorites) so that's an easy preorder.

Awesome, glad to hear you liked it! From what I've read, they made Meat Circus easier on the Steam version. Never finished that one, so I can't compare it to the original PC version, but the latter was hard as fuck. That stupid circular cage you had to climb was the worst.

Also, who is the milkman? What is the purpose of the goggles?

Yeah the circle cage was still the worst part of that level, but I have no frame of reference for the older version.

Also I am a telephone worker. I work on the phone lines. Someday mobile phones will make my job obsolete. I can listen to all of your calls, but I do not due to ethical standards.

I loved Psychonauts, can't wait for the sequel. I think I originally finished it on an Xbox near its release. No idea why I didn't get it on PC then. Replayed it since and it holds up well.

Yakuza 2 seems to be missing the .exe file. No one seems to be able to start it. Waiting for a fix... Damnit.

Yeah, I backed Psychonauts 2 and it can't come out soon enough! Let's hope it's as weird and memorable as the first one.

So, I'm home. Tornadoes came through. No electricity at work. Electricity at home. Yes!
Fuck, that's scary. Take care man!

The fix is a really fast SSD and a really fast CPU. Works great! (y)
smartass :disapproval-blob:

I'm really curious what this will mean for Microsofts upcoming PC games.
i'm more curious what it means for Microsoft's current PC games ... will they move all of them over to steam/gog/whatever?

'cause i'd TOTALLY re-buy them if they did ... not even joking

stay safe! glad you're ok, though :)

yeah i've just outright stopped preloading now. It's quicker to just download at release frankly.
More good news about UWP: Microsoft confirmed that they will stop pushing developers into using UWP and the Windows Store. Paul Thurrott also writes that UWP is not the future for Windows Apps.

I'm really curious what this will mean for Microsofts upcoming PC games.
Great news, also wonder what it means for the existing UWP games =/
