I used to be #Senpai / Guilty of Being on here. It's been so long that I decided to create a new account. I'm happy to be back.
I have had a lot change:
I gave my PC to my wife. She plays the Sims and her computer could no longer carry the load. We couldn't afford a new PC, so I did what I had to do.
I'm using a newly purchased ROG Ally Z1 Extreme for the time being. Personally, I'm very pleased with it right now. It's great for busy, lazy folk like me.
I've also given my Steam account to my wife and created a new one. It's to get her into more games.

Oh, I'm addicted to Vampire Survivors.

Hi everyone, I am interested in computers, games and technology, anf have been since about 20 years.
However, I am increasingly disappointed with modern usage of such technology (think Facebook, Twitter, Insta etc.) and have always steered clear from them. This led to a custom where I am concerned with ethics of software/technology and I try to adjust my usage to fit this to the best of my ability.
Recently flashed my phone to run /e/os and in the (arguably difficult) process of moving away from google entirely.
Anyway, this forum seems to fit my ideas quite well, being a smaller, user-moderated and generally more cosy place. Looking forward to being a part of it!

P.s. gallus gallus is the scientific name for chicken. Chosen for no other reason than needing a screenname
