Age of Empires Definitive was added to Steam Database 4 days after original release date. MS has been planning this for a while lol

Gotta move some of the summer sale budget to MS releases on Steam budget.
Phantasy Star Online 2 coming to the west was the best thing about the show.

Yeah! Super stoked to finally play PSO2.
It was certainly one of the top announcements for me too. Such a bummer it has taken it so long to reach the west but I can't wait to give it a go again without having to jump through a bunch of hoops.
Disappointing there was no release date for Elden Ring. Trailer was really good tho.
There is Tokyo Game show and Game awards I guess. Hopefully we get more news on it later but that is probably a early 2021 game.
Also surprising there was no news for new Sekiro expansion/DLC. I guess that was a 1 and done.

It was a decent conference overall I say 8 out of 10.

Elden Ring seems like it's going to take a while until we see some gameplay. As you mention, 2021 can be possible but I wouldn't be surprised if it launches later than that.

They literally have IP blocked users in the past.
I don't think they're doing it anymore actually, but I would absolutely not be surprised to see them IP block Europe and the Middle East.

I don't have any interest in renting games through Game Pass, but it's nice to see Microsoft putting their games on Steam. Also, abandoning UWP and the Windows Store, and creating a new Xbox client is a good start.
So many games wishlisted... MS strategy to make gamepass tempting is working - but I need to see the games not using UWP first to even consider getting it outside of the $1 deals.
