Anyone else keep getting this error on almost every page in the xbox app?

6fb9aff0-3199-47a2-9699-848ccd6f878a

It's really putting me off even trying game pass when most of the app doesn't work for me =/

I don't know if its just me, but half the icons don't even show on the xbox app, what a shitshow

Devotion is never coming back, is it? :negative-blob:

they haven't even touched any of the packages on steam in over a month

:suicide-blob:
As soon as the news started to appear, I bought the game immediately, because sadly I was predicting something similar to happen.

Maybe someone from outside of Taiwan can buy the rights to the game, and re-release it?

Mangagamer is on the PR offensive:

There's a CG with mild nudity (covered with steam) with what appears to be a minor, I guess that was enough to trigger Valve's policy (though they're really very inconsistent with that policy, especially with even GOG of all platforms to be okay with this game).

Sorry, buddy. :cryblob:

I'm crossing my fingers you'll get the chance to get it soon. :heartblob:

it sure doesn't look like it's coming back :( they've been promising for months now .... and i don't think anyone heard back from them for like 2 months now ...

i really don't think it'll be coming back ... it doesn't take 3 months to modify a few textures and go over all the remaining ones (especially for a small linear indie game)

My understanding is that they wanted this whole thing to die down, before they could bring back the game.
It wasn't really so much about making changes, but waiting for people to forget about that whole insanity, for the "heat" to disappear.

Im started a new game + of Dying Light. Carrying over your weapons and stats makes a big difference to the early game. Im slicing up those zombies no problem.

Its a really nice looking game still and running through the city is a lot of fun.

I actually gave up on the game twice before deciding to go back and stick with it no matter what. Those first few hours are rough.

For fans of Metroidvania games, Touhou Luna Nights is now fully content complete, and on sale.
If you enjoy the genre, and want to support a small indie developer (one of those that Epic would never touch, despite being so-called pro-developers) that has been releasing kick ass games, consider giving this game a try. It's well worth a look:

And, be sure to add their previous game to your wishlist. It will surely be selling for next to nothing on the next summer sale, and it's one of the best games in the genre currently available on Steam:

---

And speaking of Asian indie developers, NEXT Studios just released a free DLC for their game Unheard, and the game is now on sale.
NEXT Studios keeps releasing affordable, interesting games, that are always worth a look:

EDIT: Ops, the English language version of that Unheard free DLC was delayed until early July. There was a delay with the voice recording sessions. :giggle:

Uh... is the new Watch Dogs EGS and uplay exclusive or something?
Seems like it, yes. Ubi is done with Steam, I think. Their games are big enough that users will use Uplay to get them. And EGS gives them free money to keep them off Steam.

I bought a used Switch on a local internet marketplace this week. Paid that dude €150, and now he's ignoring my messages. I'm starting to doubt if I will ever see that Switch 🤔
Feels like a scam from the previous decade lol. I buy a lot of things from local marketplace, but I never buy them online. Always cash on delivery.

I only buy online from verified online stores.

Most likely. :expressionless-face:

it's safe to assume every new ubisoft title will only be on EGS and Uplay in the near future. They might change their minds but who knows.

i'll go further and say that none of those games will come to steam after 12 months either ... they'll just start selling udontplay keys for them after those 12 months ... and that's about it

Of course it is and of course they won't. I just thought I would take a look and see if it was on Steam since I had a mild interest. Ah well, I'll put that free month of uplay+ to good use then.

Still available on Gamersgate, if anyone wants them:

I picked them up the last time they were 75% off at Gamersgate.

I hate when companies do this, without giving a heads-up.

Looks like they're gone already.

I still see them on the Gamersgate shop.

In other news, this looks nice:

It's on Early Access, but it's relatively inexpensive, so it may be worth getting it now at a cheaper price, and wait for release.

So there's this guy on another forum always hating on Steam when there's debate about something EGS related, and someone said that he didn't want to use EGS because of the spyware, then this guy posted this to prove Steam is also spyware:

Steam will "phone home" whenever the Steam client is opened or a program is launched through Steam. This spyware feature is mandatory and cannot be turned off.

Like...WTF, why isn't Gabe also calling me when i launch a game?

That link is hilarious. :ROFLMAO:

I just learned that a website that collects your name, address, email, and credit card number is spyware.
Which means, I'll start calling every online store I find spyware. :grinning-face-with-smiling-eyes:

Square Enix is sending out Steam codes of FFXIV Heavensward to FFXIV Starter Edition owners for free. I own all 3 expansions but I got a code anyway. So I guess I have this random heavensward code now?

They also gave away the non-Steam version Heavensward last month, as well as a free week login.

I feel like they're having a free login week every month now.

Damn, doesn't look like I got one. :( Wonder if it's because I own the full game and not the Starter Edition. Sucks cause as far as I can tell Heavensward can't be bought on its own on Steam anymore.

If you’re in NA (I think its region locked, SE codes usually are) I can send you my code if you’d like.

Thanks again! Between this and the free login thing, I think I'll give the game another shot once I'm done with Okami. I liked it last time when I made a trial account but I ended up not sticking with it.

Also, what is it with the Lunar sale and bugs? First there was that weird refund bug me and some people got that seemed to only happen to purchases made with the credit you could earn. And just now I noticed I no longer had any of those cute little pig chat emotes, so I googled to see if they were only available for a limited time but I just ended up finding the rewards booth page and rebuying them. And I could be wrong here but I think my tokens also got refunded because I don't remember having that much left when that event ended lol.

I did it. All 2,800 cards have been listed. I started at $54 and am sitting at $97. Hopefully a bunch more sell before the seal.

You ever get the desire to revamp your Steam profile... mainly avatar and background? I’m debating.

If you did the automatic listing then you are leaving Steam Wallet credit on the table.

If you want to increase your profile level I recommend going to this site
Item Value Sorter
enter your SteamID, let it list your inventory and then sort it by price. Sell your more expensive cards and complete the cheaper sets. If you really want a specific background or emoticon from a game its easier and cheaper (in 99% of the cases) to buy it from the market.

Get at least 10 complete sets before the next sale starts, you never know if Gaben will give us a surprise.

By using the site's logic then every software that doesn't provide the source code is a spyware. :thinking-face:

i'D DO it if Valve would update the overall design of the profile. Some badges look tiny compared to others for one thing.

just reelease from early access

eggscloosie but looks to be quite a huge improvement over the first one

It all returns in CastleStorm II—with even more modes, more play styles, more mythical races and more…sheep. An Undead threat rises intent on vanquishing humanity, and only you can stop them. Or control these hellish monstrosities against the living if that’s more your thing. We won’t judge.

Key Features:
  • Bigger Genre-Blending: CastleStorm made a name for itself with a tantalizing mix of ballista-based destruction, tower defense, and in-your-face beat-em-up combat. It all returns, and is better in every way.
    • Destroy Even More! Projecting ballistic weapons to destroy an opposing force’s castle defined much of the core gameplay of the first CastleStorm. This mechanic returns with a visceral fierceness and sense of crushing weight that surpasses the original.
    • Control Every Soldier: Once again, players can hack and slash their way through a battle using hero units – like the noble knight Sir Gavin, the wise sorceress Lady Meredith, and the not-quite-evil vampire Luna – for a direct impact on a battle’s progress. But for those times when a personal touch can mean the difference between victory and defeat, players can now control individual soldiers as well.
  • New Metagame of Strategic Conquest: Inspired by the ‘4X’ subgenre most popular in 1990s PC gaming – yet designed for accessibility for the modern gamer – CastleStorm II encourages players to explore the map, expand their territory, exploit the resources they control, and exterminate their rivals (or at least to rough ‘em up pretty good).
    • Liberate the Kingdom – or Destroy It: The Undead threat is quickly overtaking land once held by the Kingdom. Meanwhile, each unique faction has its own idea of what’s best for the land. Only through total domination of the map by one faction can the Kingdom once more restore peace (or rest in peace, should the Undead prevail…).
    • Procedurally Generated Maps: No two campaigns are ever the same, as a map’s terrain and layout changes with each new game. Fields, forests, mountains and more await.
    • Find Secrets and Side Quests: Each map is replete with unique side encounters where your decisions may result in comradery, coin or carnage – or maybe a little of each!
  • Six Unique Campaigns and Stories: Six memorable hero characters – three from the Kingdom, three sided with the Undead – represent their own unique factions, and each hero has his or her own motivations. Though all rooted in same initial story setup, the events to follow differ dramatically, with each narrative revealing unexpected twists about the world and its characters. Each story is designed to stand alone, yet be more appreciated as revelations occur in other campaigns.
  • Multiplayer modes include quick PvP castle-destruction matches, plus cooperative and competitive campaigns spanning the entire map
  • Trademark CastleStorm charm and humor in a cartoonish medieval setting
  • Powered by Unreal Engine 4
  • Planned expansions will carry the game forward for years to come
