Bought a sandwich and the cheese still had the plastic wrap what the fuck.
Do people really eat those little wrapped "cheese" squares uncooked?
Like, I can understand melted on something, it's... edible at least.

But every time I tried to eat cold Kraft singles and others along those lines, I almost puked.
It's like biting in silicone sealant, and tastes about the same.

I am now trying out Steam's small mode now for the first time and I really like it. Since trying the new layout I can't use grid view the way I want to anymore with next to no space between tiles I will probably stick with it until the new layout is out.

been playing some Guacamelee 2 on gamepass and some of my platform skills are not what they used to be
Yeah, I'v played through it yesterday and today. Some of those sections are intense.
Glad I only played 1 last month, so my skills were still somewhat fresh.

I never got too far in 1 on PS4. I just don’t know when I’ll jump back in on PC. I love the theme, however.

I’m actually happy that I’ve hit a rhythm of getting excited for a game, playing it, and then moving to another. I don’t get too caught up in achievements... unless it’s just a little extra time. Oddly, I’ve been replaying stuff I beat on consoles.

I think I want to re-buy a Switch. Which would be a stupid move before the new SKUs come out. And the switch display lottery looks to be a thing. And I'm not that interested in what releases on it (last glance was several months ago). And everything is overpriced as hell on it, I can't afford to buy games there. And it's a lousy handheld that failed to keep the same kind of production as her older sister.

I... think I want to re-buy a Switch.
I want to buy a Switch solely to play Animal Crossing.

Considering getting Monster Hunter: Generations Ultimate now that it is on sale on Switch, but not sure if I will like it.

Switch 2019 lineup is so much better than 2018.

Same. I love the series. However, I'm not too interested in a lot of the other first party games... and a lot of what I can get on Switch, I have on Steam.

I've finished Kiwami 2 (and since we're doing this, it's my 14th game of the year). I feel that the game is way easier and the combat is more simple, but in general I've liked it.

I just hope that when the next Dragon Engine game launches I have a better CPU.

Kao controls fine in Kao 2, and his speed works well with the game's design. I did not find his movement sluggish at all o_O
Not the locomotion speed, the turning speed.
Dude can't make a 360 faster than a PS1 hero. It's almost as bad as Bubsy 3D. Well not really, but it's in the same spirit of keyboard turners characters.

Pfft! I've had that game since before it was released on Steam. The writing is actually pretty good/funny. You know, if you are into hot dudes banging other hot dudes. Either way, I love that Steam is advertising it as their daily deal.
I’d play it.

Also, I lost track of how many games I’ve played/beaten, but I feel pretty good about what I have done. I might go and fix my games played/beaten thread; I’m not sure. I’m just happy I’m playing through games.

OK I fired up the game to test this real quick and ummm the turning is fine? Mind you i played Croc 1 and Spyro 1 via emulator recently out of boredom and the movement in those requires time to get used to, but Kao moves just fine with a controller. Sorry mang I just ain't seeing it, there's hardly many hazards or platforming that'd require strict turning in this game, it's light for the most part and its controls work well.

There is an option to censor all of the dongs for those that don't want to be slapped in the face with dick. They had to censor everything to get onto Steam originally, though you could download a de-censor patch from their website. Then they had to add a remove censor option once Steam decided to let their freak flag fly.

Also, I lost track of how many games I’ve played/beaten, but I feel pretty good about what I have done. I might go and fix my games played/beaten thread; I’m not sure. I’m just happy I’m playing through games.
I've completed 4 games this year... And 2 of those are LiS2 episodes. The other two were under 5 hours long.

I've completed 7 games so far this year.
Currently trying to finish up the main story in Watch_Dogs 1.
Talk about a game that never ends... The main story just drags on and on. And the talking never stops.

But besides all this, it's still enjoyable, and the multiplayer is nicely integrated into the game without taking over.

I think I'll pick up WD2 during the summer sale...

Even though I had a dry spell for a bit in March-April, ya’ll got me feeling like a champion! In my defense, as a teacher, I’m on summer break; I hope to knock out some gaming and catching up on Meta.

Lastly, why not use HLTB and trash through a few small games? You’ll be standing tall before you know it.

I want to play FF XIV.

But I dont know if I should
It's an amazing MMO and worth it.
I would play it more if i had more time for it, but since i don't, i only play through the story content and finish each of the endgame raids once.
It's got pretty good stories (apart from the basegame), great OST, incredible environment design and pretty fun raids.

My garbage Samsung 840 ssd finally bit the dust. I honestly forgot how trash it was. I thankfully didn't have many important things stored on it. I knew this day would come.

Now to disable everything Windows thinks I need.

I was thinking: despite the forums allowing for developers to self-promote their games (unlike many forums), we still don't have many developers around.
I know some of you know a developer or two. Consider inviting them over.
For example, InquisitorAles, you know the developer from FobTi interactive, right? See if he would like to post here. ;)

It's always great to hear more about smaller developers and titles, that usually aren't featured in most websites, so hopefully these forums could be a channel for them. (y)

It's pretty pretty good. It has a decent story, especially in the first expansion Heavensward with awesome characters all around. Music is fucking phenomenal as mentioned above and most primal fights/raids are also pretty good. It also has a decent housing system with a ton of customisation all around. Honestly, I think the game as a whole is even better than mainline FF games past VI.

I played a lot of MMOs dating back to Ultima Online, and FFXIV is my favourite MMO by far, only beaten by Everquest, but that game is special to me, nothing is going to beat that.

You should definitely give FFXIV a try via a free trial if you never played it before.

That’s a great idea, FunktionJCB.
