And it's not the first time I've seen "exclusivity paranoia" mentioned. It's really not healthy to worry about that. I'm not sure if it's the same member. If not, there's someone else worried about that here, and it's best not to fuel it further.

tbh he was one of the major reasons there is an egs thread. i didn't want one, epic does not deserve its own thread(s) and i only want to talk about epic in the aspect of how epic is influencing and manipulating my steam experience so it's more of a steam topic (for me).
Pretty much every single game announced since the EGS was lunched had someone saying "well, I'd like to be hyped about this game but I can't because Epic might grab it" and it's really killing the fun of talking about games for everyone. Until something gets announced as Epic exclusive, we should avoid all this kind of talk because it's really a buzzkill, or go to the Epic thread for that.
