That looks... perfectly playable already?
Nice, other than audio and green colors, it seems perfectly playable.

That and in general it just feels like ATLUS is more interested in Persona than it is in SMT. And from a financial point of view I don't blame them
The last SMT game that I recall coming out was Strange Journey Redux for the 3DS. I would have thought that there would be a launch edition or something for it in the west (NA) but no there was not, I thought it might be due to how it's 2018 and how the 3DS is old but guess what EO got a launch edition a few month later (?) and earlier this year PQ2 released for the 3DS and even had a small CE.

Maybe there are no connections at all but I do have my doubts
I think it's because Atlus in general takes a long time to release a full JRPG game that is not on handhelds. Most of their output this gen were on handhelds and remasters/ports. They said they entered full scale development in 2018 , so I'd give them at least a year to hopefully bring out trailers or info.

Lest anyone forget: SMT was only announced and entered development in 2017.

Persona 5 was in development since effing 2008. It was only officially announced in 2013. And it got delayed and delayed until 2016.

Project Re Fantasy was announced in 2016, and we haven't heard shit about it since.

Not to say that the wait for any of these games isn't annoying, but Atlus kind of has a track record over the last decade of taking forever to show and complete their big projects. The smaller stuff like remakes and spinoffs get pumped out, but not the core titles.

How do you add custom banners to steam ? I added a non steam game alright, it set the icon automatically, and the blank cover art was not too hard to change. But what about the blank 'banner' when you click on a game ?

This.

That said, I wonder if Sony/Nintendo provide support during development in return for the stupidity of being 3rd-party exclusive. Like funds or development help?

Sadly, you can't change that (yet?). It's been bugging me too.

At least with the old Steam client it'll display your screenshot. But it's jsut blank here. :blobweary:

Hmm, another stange question. Would it be possible to remote play on an ipad but keep the pc available to do other things and NOT display a mirror image ?
I’m interested in streaming VN, not the most demanding shit, and it always felt bad the few times my mother wanted to use the PC and I had to tell her it’s not used but used.
She mostly browses and writes docs, not demanding either.

I have a 1060 6GB. And a regular Switch, yeah.

I guess I need someone to smack my head and tell me I dont need both

You don't need both.

Besides, Switch Lite represents too many hardware issues atm. The Era thread was littered with problems and that's just a small cross-section of total Switch Lite buyers.

I'd be too nervous, it's why I decided on a regular Switch myself despite wanting a Lite initially.

So, sunglasses, and a SSD? :p

I have some spare money since I want to buy a new mattress but I suspect they will be on sale soon, so I'm trying not to get to desperate :p

Also, that thread was WEIRD. I would have given up by the second replacement, but some people went through 6 or 7, what the fuck. I would think the whole batch the store got was fucked.

My own list so far includes:

Bayonetta 2 (which comes with a digital copy of B1)
Bayonetta 3
Daemon X Machina
Astral Chain
Zelda: BotW 1+2
SMTV
FE: Three Houses + DLC Pass
XBC2 + Expansion
XBC Remaster
#FE Encore
Rune Factory 5
Taiko No Tatsujin
Pokemon Sword/Shield (haven't decided which)
Animal Crossing

... I think that's about it for now. It's basically for exclusives only. My main platform is still PC after all.
If you only gonna buy two games at first, i'd definitely recommend Three Houses and Astral Chain.

I remember watching this trailer years ago, but I never downloaded it. I'll have to give it a spin.. I believe one of the devs of this game is behind the Superliminal ( 🥚 🥚 ) game.

Another day, and still no Shenmue 3 refund.
They are really taking the piss. They started sending refunds 2 weeks ago, and still haven't refunded at least a significant amount of people who asked for a refund on the first day (let alone those who did it in any of the 2 weeks that followed).

At least with Phoenix Point, another campaign that pulled the same crap, I got my money back in a timely manner.

Eh? It was not Cuphead? But the I see Cuphead in one of the screenshots
It's definitely Cuphead but like I said, though the top row is swapped, the left column is Cuphead and the right column is that upcoming game.

Take a real good look.

I had to switch back to the old library on Linux because one of the recent updates also introduced a massive bug: the new elements of the library just freeze while the rest of the client is still working normally and I can still launch games from the store page, forcing me to completely restart the client. It happened like a dozen times a day in the past 4-5 days or so. It looks like it's a widespread bug since there's a thread about it.

Cloud gaming between individuals? Without input lag for the remote players? Hmmm... Way more dubious than cloud gaming services like Stadia. The primary player streams the game to the remote players, and receives their gamepad input. Unless everyone has a really good Internet connection, I don't see that working on a fast and skillful game like TowerFall Ascension. If the remote players had the game installed, only ping would be an issue, but here it is both bandwidth and ping. Too many possible weak links.

Damn, it was announced more than 11 years ago. I feel old.
Also, this is totally going to suck isn't it?

MMO-RTS has not been a very successful genre in a while... as in, never.
To think that there was a Civilization MMO... and that it wasn't much Civilization... that could have been a good idea, in practice...

This looks interesting. Charming/humorous strategy RPG from a French studio.

Yeah, there was a Civilization Online too, and it was a flop.

Crytivo said:
It’s challenging, but we will try to do updates more frequently now, we’re committed to keeping our fans happy, even it means keeping our developers in the office overnight, every night (they enjoy it so much anyways). Remember our programmers get one extra Redbull per day with every positive review we receive, so let’s pump them up.
This bit made me sad :suicide-blob:

The update itself is pretty big, I should take a look later..

So Indivisible just opened up for me by giving me a boat roughly 4-5 hours in. Thank God it is with an overworld to sail around in but rather picking stuff from a menu. It then asks me where I want to go first with a selection of three locations. I chose one go there, a bit the game tells me: "Well, we can't get any further. Time to chose another place." Why do this? Why give me the choice and the not finish it before going somewhere else?

If that is true that is fucked up.

Reached the final world in Spyro! Should be able to finish it today.
The first game out of 3, that is :face-with-cold-sweat:
This game is such a joy to play. Just wrapped up the second world. Are you hunting all those collectibles just like I am? This is a perfect game to 120%

Edit: I've just read that you did it. Congrats! What were your feelings? I absolutely adore this game

I mean... I suppose that the Red Bull part is ironic? Like "don't get angry, we'll try and release updates on schedule to make you happy... or die trying"
Well, judging by the game and what I saw from Crytivo people, it probably is a joke, kinda. I have zero doubts that they will crunch a lot to speed up updates if they think that is what they need to do. When I bought the game last year they were releasing update after update non-stop and there was still people criticizing them due to their Kickstarter promises or something like that. I wasn't a backer so don't know what happened there.

Death Stranding will come to Steam with VR support.

I don't know how many more years Kojima has left b4 he retires...but I really hope he makes a VR game b4 he goes.

KojiPro is an independent dev at the end of the day. He can do wtvr he wants after Death Stranding.

Would be amazing if he made something like PT for the VR crowd.

Just released.

Noisy Pixel review.

The investigation portion of the game plays like a first-person dungeon crawler game, where the player must investigate the environments and solve puzzles. During exploration, interacting with particular objects executes a new feature known as Bloodmetry, which is similar to Psychometry, but Akira must touch blood for it to work. Doing this lets him view memories left inside the object. I felt this helped the reader understand the spirits even more because you get to see things from this perspective. Lastly, when all information is collected, you move on to fight the spirit before completing a chapter.
Thank the [deity] it has actual gameplay. In all the pre-release content I've read there was no mention of it, only the facial-expression mechanic.
I'll be picking it up later though, this month is just too stacked.
