I played Arkham Knight earlier this year and it is pretty decent. Still looks fantastic which provides bonus points.

Never played Origins, but the rest I would rank in order of release, with the caveat that all of them are worth a play if you enjoy the gameplay.
  • Asylum: hands down the best.
  • Origins: good story, okay gameplay (city traversal felt odd...)
  • City: I... don't remember much except for a few plot points.
  • Knight: features the deepest (and best) combat system, uninteresting bat-tank sections and okay plot (IIRC the side quests were far more interesting than the main story line).
Play them in release order... they progressively fleshed out Bats' moveset and arsenal and, in my opinion, going from a more recent release to an older one would feel "restrictive".

Is that game still alive? I honestly have no idea, saw it getting streamed for a while but that completely dropped off. Could still be a massive hit for all I know.
The development of this game reminds me A LOT Survarium. A never ending early access with only a PvP component despite promising a PvE with STALKER vibe/inspiration, both of this games have as a selling point a disclaimer that says: "developed by former GSC developer!".
Let's hope that this will live the expectation, but for now...meh...

I redownloaded Destiny 2, does anyone have a good link to a new player guide? Because none of this shit makes any sense.
Nope. I tried last week and reinstalled for the first time since Curse of Osiris but I have never been more confused in my life. So I gave up :(

Kind of glad to know other people are having problems too lol, makes me feel less dumb.

It probably doesnt help that I only have the F2P edition (I bought at launch but now it is F2P) and I completed the content from the base game previously so now it just plops me in to the tower with no quests or questlines. That post does seem to be very helpful though, maybe I will revisit.

Randomly thought about it and I don’t remember seeing anything about it: Did the final episode of Kentucky Route Zero already release?

A poster was revealed this time last year for Act 5, and then as far as I know, nothing was said ever again, except for a private Patreon update in June where they said something about them now "wrapping up the last few bits of content."

/tinfoil hat on

They're making $1,800 a month on their Patreon. Why stop the gravy train now by releasing the final act?

So many Halloween sales (especially in terms of Blu-Ray releases), and I'm still waiting for my damn Shenmue 3 refund. :angry-face:

Who thinks this will be the week I will get my money back?
Who thinks they will continue taking the piss, and will make me wait some more?

I should make a poll.

new steam update seems to have screwy shelves, at least on my end.

after a restart, it looks like my recent (non-steam) collections are now empty. very weird.

Good to hear, the port has a few bugs but is overall of very high quality. And I like the game despite some levels going on too long.

I want to believe that you get your refund this week :notlikethisblob:

It's utterly ridiculous that you haven't gotten it yet.

Oh that is actually really cool and it makes sense. Up until this point it was XSEED after all that was doing the publishing, I guess this might mean that going forward Marvelous might use PC more. Marvelous already has popular games on PC (but it's mainly done through XSEED) such as Senran Kagura (which is why there most likely will be a PC port of the jet ski game).

I thought Marvelous EU also did some stuff? I thought they were responsible for the VD game and Uppers.

I think that there have been some other companies which have tried something similar in the past? Most of the time it's just one part of a company that releases on behalf of the company as a whole on Steam. Like how SEGA EU is the one that handles a vast majority of SEGA stuff on Steam.

So what is different about what Parsec and rainaway offer from what Steam currently offers?

Also I wonder if the eshop will ever get a "face lift", I know that the DSi store never did, I don't know about the Wii and Wii U, but the 3DS store I think hardly changed. I mention this since I saw a tweet by Digital Devolver and saw on both the N/S and the online websites that themed sales are weird.

I am guessing that there is more to the rainaway app since those devs still seem to champion it, I would imagine the same applies to parsec.

So as long at the host has fast upload speeds it seem to work well
