GOD WHY GOD

Hentacles are terrible :(

Also budgeted out for the next month gonna be broke but gonna be broke with a (used) Nintendo Switch SOOOOO

If you told me a month ago that by the end of october I'd have near 200 hours into Destiny 2 and I would struggle to play outer worlds at all due to it nearly putting me to sleep every time I try to play it I would have tried to have you taken in for mental health checks.

I don't really understand why TOW isn't clicking with me at all either. In theory it should be everything I need with it being called new vegas part 2 but I find everything about it....lacking to put it bluntly. I'm only about 7 hours in and past the first planet but it's really a struggle to stay awake each time I try to play it.

I don't know why people are so appalled by Modern Warfare. CoD has always been propaganda for the American military.
BTW Ryza can now be installed!

I played Tower Unite’s update last night. It runs until November 14th.

The lobby is completely transformed for halloween and theres a item shop with exclusive halloween items you unlock with ghoul coins (ghoul coins randomly drop after finishing rounds of minigames, its pretty easy to get enough for every item in the shop if you play the right games). They also added a bunch of new enemy types to Zombie Massacre alongside a new Village map.

There’s also a few new halloween events that happen randomly in the Plaza.

Pretty good update overall and has me really excited for the holiday update in December 👀
I really hope the arcade is in the game by then. So close!

Cool, thanks. The games are tagged with "Point and Click", so I shouldn't be surprised it's inaccurate. :dana_blanket:
I've only played the most recent 3, but I would rank them:

  1. Crimes & Punishment
  2. Testament of Sherlock Holmes
  3. Devil's Daughter
Testament is older, DD tries to build on C&P but I found it very lacking and had nonstop minigames.

Oooh. Oh now I get it. Wasn't it made a big deal out of Valve being evil/dumb/bad/whatever for having some hardware engineers and shit quit and go do their own thing? This is what became of it? All the best to those folks and good to see they have good relations still even though fanboys/haters got fussy.

Edit: ok so they had actually fired people and that's what people ragged on about. I commented it was awesome of them to let them keep the project though.

It's been six years, I really hope it works out for them. I'm not the target audience and I think it's quite expensive too for many who might have been but we'll see how they do. I can imagine crazy cool D&D type campaigns played on something like that some day, not just more traditional party based board games.

Unlike Oculus and Zenimax....

So back in 2013 she was at Valve made AR stuff with a colleague and Gabe just let them keep the tech, instead of threatening to sue them and stuff

Also Facebook bought Oclulus and then Oculus took some of the Valve hardware team as well.

so..... Portable Steam Machines when? I mean something needs to challenge Nintendo right? And the only thing that people seem to really praise the N/S for it portability right? Since the thing sort of sucks in docked mode (and the N/S Lite gets rid of docked mode all together )

maybe it's better that he doesn't ... if Tim is anything to go by :p
Would he be the same? Maybe he really is evil and is just lying to us all, we will never know.

What I am most curious about is what what he even post? It is not uncommon for some other people working in the video game industry to share some of what they are working on/ promoting things that they like.

Now if you will excuse me I am off to Twitter where I will "promote" certain "artist", that do H

But Gabe sounds so lovable in his emails!

Forreal tho, imagine a Gabe/Tim feud. Though it's more likely Tim @s Gabe with a baiting tweet but Gabe just ignores it completely lol

So this what happens when I click on weeklong deals:

So many salt at SIE thread lol.

No it's not what I want. I want their games to be exclusive. Copying Microsoft is the complete opposite of what I want. If they make it a habit PlayStation hardware will be irrelevant to me. I don't think they are foolish enough to go all in like that yet though. Nintendo seems to be the only company that knows what exclusives are about and value it completely

Whenever I consider getting mad about something in life (online or otherwise) I try to think of the most important lesson I was taught in the source of all life's great wisdom -- Dota 2.

"U Mad, Cuz U Bad"

It seemed meaningless in the original context, a Dota 2 game that we were losing terribly for many reasons. But it turns out to be the most sage advice possible for nearly all situations.

Why am I actually mad in this situation? Generally, it is because someone said something stupid. It turns out that is a commonplace thing and we needed get angry over statements on the internet. In fact, the act of getting mad because someone said something online is in fact, a "Bad" in us. Let us reach the Zen Place where idiots will say whatever they want and we can ignore them and focus on what matters to us. Eliminate the "Bad" and the "Mad" will dissipate on its own.

In real life, this can serve as well, though I will admit it is much harder to take a laissez faire attitude when real people are involved. Which is why Dota 2 is the perfect testing ground for your newfound Zen. Real humans will berate you for honest mistakes constantly, but in your new Zen mind, you cannot be angered. The insults flow around you and maybe you can even see the kernel of truth inside some of them. Your play was sub-optimal here or there. We can improve ourselves further. Another avenue to continue our self-betterment.

So what I'm saying is, if you're mad online about literally anything what you really should do is play Dota 2 instead.

:steam_pig_cool:

And I noticed that suddenly a lot of people are pushing for EGSclusivity.
That is because they figured that is the only way to make PC gamers (the ones that talk to "console fan boys") get mad when something becomes a EGS exclusive.

So the vocal minority vs the other vocal minority.

So many salt at SIE thread lol.

That is very dumb for a number of reason. I mean hardware is going to be useless because of software? So by not having something be exclusive it's going to make your piece of plastic that is already outdated worthless? but if it was tied to your piece of plastic then it would be worth something?

The Nintendo thing is very dumb, I mean look at Nintendo Online, but more importantly look at the Wii U.... that says it all having exclusives will not make people buy your piece of plastic in droves.

So if you have good hardware and good software then people will buy your stuff, there is a reason why Nintendo is still around and that is because software and hardware go hand in hand, it has not always been smooth sailing but it's worked out for them for the most part.

As far as consoles go, Xbox One X is the best hardware and also has some good software as well, but not all software goes to it. It still sells though and there are still going to be people that want that hardware.

PS4 Pro is decent hardware and it does have a select amount of software that is good that only it has.

N/S is "unique hardware" (and that is it's selling point) and while it does not get all software it goes a good amount and some exclusive stuff as well.

The PS5 and Xbox will be very similar so the only thing that will make them stand out is there software and what people find most convenient/exciting

By the way did that one person in era change their tone? I think they had an avatar of the lady with the umbrella from DS. I remember this person saying that it will not be coming to PC and all of this other stuff, but in some other non DS threads the person seemed level headed, I wonder why that is

Nobody is dumb enough to do a weeklong deal, I think that there was a dev that did do it a year ago or so and then just got that spot to themselves
Yet how do I see stuff on sale? I mean its literally right next to the icons for the featured stuff on sale...

Even says click to see 251 products on sale this week.

**Friend says it shows stuff on his.

Avoiding ban. The person that I quote also has different tone on SIE thread and on other threads.

My mistake, I thought there was a dedicated space for those types of deals,

So you get highlighted deals (daily deals), themed deals and then you get week long deals which are not part of the themed sales?

Smaller indie games usually just end up in the week long category

RIP CSGO key trade
Starting today, CS:GO container keys purchased in-game can no longer leave the purchasing account. That is, they cannot be sold on the Steam Community Market or traded. Pre-existing CS:GO container keys are unaffected–those keys can still be sold on the Steam Community Market and traded.

KT you had one job..... Make a decent port and the money will follow.

Do they not see a sudden increase in the money from the game?

Oh well, what could have been.

I mean it took a month but they fixed the mouse issue on Nioh didn't they?

"U Mad, Cuz U Bad"

My top 3 Dota 2 quotes:

"CHILD BLOOD PENIS BLOOD
CHILD BLOOD PENIS BLOOD
CHILD BLOOD PENIS BLOOD
CHILD BLOOD PENIS BLOOD
CHILD BLOOD PENIS BLOOD"

- Allied Morphling, after losing his rapier

"If i met u in real life u would suffer a lot u scum"

- Magnus, after having his first blood stolen

"LAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGG" - A KotL playing buddy literally whenever he died

Atelier Thiccza's game size is not as big as her thigh. Only 5GB with bad port lul.

...Is the port bad? :fearful-face:
It's kekmo so i shouldn't be too surprised but...
Damn hell, don't ruin these thighs for me :H02frustrated:

It's standard KT port. The steam review is mixed, because "nice thigh" reviews counterbalanced "bad ports" reviews.

Btw, the more I read SIE threads the more I scared of them. It's a cult.

I had that same impression after my first session with TOW, lacking everywhere. A couple of days later i'm having fun with it though and i think it's mostly because of adjusted expectations. After it got all those good reviews i wanted a great "AAA-budget Fallout 5(~2019)"-game but what i got was "AA-budget Fallout 3,75(~2012)", just in a new engine.

Still much better than whatever Bethesda is doing though :suicide-blob:

Rip my csgo inventory value. Rip free index plan again.
Didn't they can that? After the whole TF2 thing I think they made it so you can't buy that stuff with wallet funds.

Give me a link.

These past few days I've been thinking about the fact that I've never played Cold Fear and should really get around to it. Funny how right on the day after the game goes on sale for dirt cheap, it's a sign.
I've owned that for ages, and been wanting to play it for even longer. Maybe in the next few decades I'll finally start it.
