Street Fighter 6 is absurdly good. How's everyone else been liking it?

Way better than I expected. I've long been a Street Fighter hater, but I picked this up since it seemed more interesting than previous entries, and I gotta admit, it's a lot of fun. I don't have much in the way of combos yet, but I've been playing JP and having a blast using all of his goofy nonsense.

I don't think it'll replace Strive for me, but it's great for some variety.

I don’t much like the World Tour mode, but the more traditional modes are awesome.

I haven’t played a fighting game properly since P4 Arena Ultimax on PS3, so it’s nice to play an accessible fighting game again.

I think I need to give it more of a chance. But I kinda just wanted to jump in and play with the characters.

One of the issues I have with World Tour is I don’t have any interest in fighting as a character-creator character. Maybe I just need to look over some of that stuff and put a few hours in, because a lot of people are really positive about it.

That aside, it’s clear SF6 is the benchmark for fighting games going forward. Capcom seem to have the magic touch right now, whether it’s quality game design, accessibility, diversity, and technical proficiency. This game is another triumph for them.

Other than that, I'm absolutely loving the game. Yesterday I noticed I already got the achievement for playing 100 online matches. I was in disbelief at first since it didn't feel like I had played that much but I guess I did play over 12 hours between friday night and saturday.

It's my first time playing a fighting game at launch, too, so that's a fun experience.

Some of Street Fighter VI's texture/model work looks like something from PS2. I know that fighting games are no longer showcases of graphical fidelity, but come on. I know it was done to let people run these things on potatoes, but it should also be allowed to scale with better hardware.

It's so bad, that I think that something may be broken somewhere.

The non character textures being PS2/PS3 tier is something that's been in SF games since...SF4 series. Like some of the models or textures in SF5 come off out of place.
They put most focus on player models and certain sfx. Some stages still look good tho~
