Gears Tactics is 2nd best selling game worldwide on Steam now.
And yet a feudal Japan setting STILL hasn't happened yetI know it's not a popular opinion, but Vikings are the least interesting setting in the whole series for me.
That’s sitting on the ‘break in case nobody cares about AC anymore’ shelf, next to Overwatch swimsuit event. And yet a feudal Japan setting STILL hasn't happened yet
Leaking the game is not the way to handle the situation.Jason "fight for your worker rights! but don't inconvenience your employer or us gamers!" Schreier
Jason "Fight for worker rights! But not on Bloomberg, though!" Schreier
Because this was a ‘heat of the moment’ kind of thing. The leaker wasn’t thinking rationally.Leaking the game is not the way to handle the situation.
Accusing Schreier of being partial to Sony for having that opinion is ridiculous.
How is he even fighting for his rights by doing this? Dude is going to be in deep shit.
Should've just gone public with whatever happened to him to expose the problem and the people behind it. A lot of his colleagues are very hurt by this, it's just not cool.
You're giving Blizzard too much credit.next to Overwatch swimsuit event.
I dont understand, what happend? its something about TLOU2 leaks? :SAll the respect I had for Jason Schreirer fell off a cliff today lmao

These individuals make some pretty good points. And how did all of that work out for Kotaku in the end? Aside from Jason what else did they have? By which I mean that Kotaku is just not that well like in general and all of that and what ever "respectable" piece of news that came from Kotaku (investigate reporting, since all anyone else seems to do is just say the same stuff over and in some cases they don't investigate further into some matter before publishing an article, which has gotten Kotaku in trouble multiple times in the past).
I grabbed both games and donated a few bucks, thank you for posting this.

Notepad most dangerous of cheating tools. (This was posted by Riot Developer on Reddit)
In truth, once you move out of the bubbles, most people won't even know that there was a leak. And for a game that it's most likely going to sell at least a few million copies it just doesn't matter.Spoiler culture is ridiculous anyway. Millions will buy the game regardless, and another bunch will buy it to support that poor multimillion dollar company.
The house always wins
Because telling people to Unionize is as useful and successful as telling a consumer to silently vote with their wallet if they are disappointed with a product or the direction of a company. Just don't be angry, don't take it to social media, don't organize boycotts, don't leave bad reviews, etc.Leaking the game is not the way to handle the situation.

This is a good piece of advice. Personally. I'll probably find it hard to follow most of the time, but it's good to keep in mind. Especially when the inevitable happens and you do end up missing out on those little bits and bobs here and there no matter how hard you try to avoid it. FOMO is so realWhen faced with the fragmentation of modern games, I tend to choose the easy way out : the base game is the experience, the rest is just fluff. Saves me a lot of headaches.
I'm no role model, I often buy DLC, but the little bits and bobs ? They can shove it for all I care.
What I wouldn't give for a top tier, singleplayer, Robocop game.
The more people miss out on Tinymetal the better thoRandom musing: I feel like developers should consider improving their capsule artwork in the Steam store to make it more attractive. It's really easy these days to miss a gem or two because the artwork didn't immediately stand out.
I don't know if it's bad, but the developer is a scamartist who still doesn't have anything to show for their Kickstarter project after 7 years, despite somehow managing to make not one, but two Tiny Metal games in the meantime.Hektor was Tiny metal bad?
I know that it did also get a sequel as well (which Unties did not publish, maybe because the first game didn't sell well?)
Totally forgot about that Project Phoenix thing. That's how long it has been since they put out an update it might as well didn't exist.I don't know if it's bad, but the developer is a scamartist who still doesn't have anything to show for their Kickstarter project after 7 years, despite somehow managing to make not one, but two Tiny Metal games in the meantime.

nope, it's definitely AssViking
INTI CREATES usually has some bonuses for early buyers of their games, to reward the people who buy the game at full price. For dragon marked, I know that there is timed early purchase DLC, what exactly is the DLC and does it have any significance if you have not played many Inti games? Since some devs have it where some DLC relates to some of their game stuff from the past that fans might like.

Unionisation will not prevent capitalism. It will just help prevent some things like crunch culture which the game industry uses as a tool of capitalism. There's lots of other tools for capitalists to use, as all unionised industries around the world already know.I really do think it's time for the $120 billion USD gaming industry (largest entertainment industry in the world) to unionize. It's been fun and games so far but that disgusting amount of wealth was built on the sweat, blood and tears of the over-time and crunch-time employees who toil day to day. Big devs and publishers have had it too good for too long, it's unrealistic and unsustainable.
A little game leakage is really not that bad in the grand scheme of things, at least the dude didn't torch the offices or shoot up management.
I started having big doubts about him when I read his piece on Star Citizen. It was fishing for outrage, the facts and interviews quotes had no explanation to help put them in context.Jason doesn’t stand being called out on anything. He blocked me ages ago too. I always thought he was terrible, but maybe now others will see it,
That's extremely unfair. A journey's experience relies in a large part on not knowing the destination. I think people are completely justified to decide against purchasing, and I personally hate spoilers. I think that reaction has little to do with a game's quality and in the reverse It could be argued that if a game can survive being spoiled, then its story was never that good in the first place. There's a lot that hinges on execution and how you get there but I think it's unfair to say what you did.P.S. Spoiler culture is trash and if less people will buy the game because they can read the plot online, then your game was never deserving of their purchase to begin with.

I'm not informed on the Bloomberg thing but as for the leak, I stand by my opinion that this isn't the right way to handle it.Because telling people to Unionize is as useful and successful as telling a consumer to silently vote with their wallet if they are disappointed with a product or the direction of a company. Just don't be angry, don't take it to social media, don't organize boycotts, don't leave bad reviews, etc.
Million and billion Dollar companies only change if they are hurt where it counts. You can be against this type of "protest" but still point out that it is Naughty Dog's own fault for their awful work culture and how they treat their employees.
And don't get me started on Bloomberg and how they even tried to silence the wife of one of their reporters because he wanted to do a critical piece on China.
You are misunderstanding what i meant. People are entitled to make whatever purchasing decision they want to make. That's extremely unfair. A journey's experience relies in a large part on not knowing the Destination.

Spoiler culture is people calling everything a spoiler and then getting upset at others for spoiling by saying literally anything at all about a Videogame or something videogame tangent. What is spoiler culture by the way? Because if it's being caring and considerate of others by trying not to spoil anything, I don't see anything wrong with it .
Who gives a shit about the law tho.Hell, at the end of the day it's a criminal act.
