I'm pretty dumb. I'm playing through Uncharted 1 right now. The first "puzzle" that you come across is not bad and I was able to solve it right away (even though I brain was telling me to explore more). I have maybe spent 20 minutes on this one other section wondering how I solve the puzzle. It says push triangle and it doesn't work, I had to look up a guide and then it hit me. What if I need to do more then just press triangle? What if this is one of those "dumb" QTE type of things where they want you to mash a button in order to simulate stuff and ya it was just that..... The rest of the series has a lot of these doesn't it?.......

Humble brand manager guy on reddit is saying it's a fake, but as someone else also pointed out in the initial twitter screenshot the Void bastards reference in the first half is typed out complete different in comparison to the actual link that would go to the humble website

Reddit with another lie. Wow, how surprising. Although, the "brand manager" also posted on Reddit, what if we're stuck in a lie-ception.

Forager being in a choice is still possible

Void b. Would be a curious pick as it was already in a bundle, so i could see it in a future bundle but not necessarily a choice bundle

I could see them tweeting in error, but tweeting AND having website up for few second? s and yet only one person sees it? Smells BS.

I bought it on friday, started playing and wasn't able to put it down for 8 hours. EIGHT HOURS.

I mean, I've played my fair share of engaging games, but this was "unealthy levels of addictiveness" .

With that said, the game is plagued with bugs that seem rather easy to fix.

For example, in k/m mode, if you select an item in your inventory and then click on "use" it'll often switch to another item after the first click. The fix is to select the item and then reach the "use" button by moving your pointer around the inventory. The game seems to be storing a reference to the last item over which your cursor was hovering.

I still need to play Egypt and Greece so not in a hurry to play this one tbh. if Ubi decides to comeback to Steam I will gladly give them money, if not, hard pass

Finished Chimera Squad. It is a pretty good strategy game. Missions are faster, I like exploiting synergies, the initiative system works very well.
Would love to start a new playthrough on the highest difficulty, but the game needs a patch. Too many crashes, too many corrupted savegames.
Will give Gears Tactics a try now, on game pass. Not confident enough to spend 70€ on Steam. And why the f* does the game only cost $60 in the u.s. to begin with?

Uncharted 1 is from 2007...
But yes the franchise has a lot of reactionary button presses. It will get tiring, even the constant climbing will eventually get tiring imo.
Still enjoyed the games, though I played them close to release. Not sure if they really aged well.

I fully expect to be able to gather a crew and to raid villages and cities. Everything else would not deserve the Vikings name.
If they think they can get away with another AC:Odyssey but with a Viking skin I'll be disappointed.

Highly doubt that Ubi will allow you to raid cities, rob churches and rape citizens.

No need for the rape stuff tbh. But there was always a lot of killing in or around churches in the series. Bishops were also sometimes the assassination goals.

We will see, i hope its will be not another attempt in romanticization of vikings (because they were secretly Assassins :face-with-tears-of-joy:)

same ... even though i love AssCreed i'm not going to buy a new one on udontplay ... i don't own a single game directly on there and i don't plan on changing that ... ever

That's correct, this year is not wise to give any glimpse of potential dates due to covid and potential internal delays, however, things are looking exciting.
(Yes, I know what lash knows too)

Less than 24h until the release of Streets of Rage 4!

There's a lot I don't like in what I've seen in the game so far (like the art-style, and the tracks from the new contributors, both of which I feel don't fit with the "tradition" of past games), but I'm keeping an open mind, and on the plus side:

-1: it's a new beat'em up, and a sequel to my favourite series in the genre, 26 years later!
-2: since this is a series so "attached" to its soundtracks, I can't wait to hear the new tracks from the composers of the original trilogy, Yuzo Koshiro, and Motohiro Kawashima, who really should have done the full soundtrack to 4, instead of being called late in the game to make a few tracks.

And so far, their tracks do not disappoint.

And here is one from Kawashima, the "madman" behind much of the insanity featured in Streets of Rage 3:

Yup. I'm not particularly proud of it :sick:. Although I had nothing better to do so... whatevs :dabblob:.

My longest gaming session ever is far longer, by the way. I finished MGS2 the day it came out (in a single 16h session). It also ended up being my most played game ever (I think I've finished it about 34 times).

But these long-ass sessions are exceptionnally rare... 99% of the time I tend to completely drop games well before 2 hours of playtime... and even when I really like a specific game I can't do more than 2 hours at a time (you know... too much of a good thing).

Yeah same here, had it maybe 5 months but only fully played two games and just tried out a few.
