Is Rock of Ages3 worth it? Love the first game, have put maybe 10 minutes into the second because it came out so damn long ago. Might grab it from someone selling their excess bundle titles if it is.

I just wanted to bring some awareness to Grid Cartographer. I'm usually fine with hand-drawing my own maps for these RPGs, but you can make some very nice-looking maps with this. The game link feature is pretty convenient too.

I've been playing Might & Magic: Book One and sharing my adventures in the RPG Thread.

One way or another even if they add my currency prices can only go up. And it is annoying because we are not part of EU but EU rules somehow still apply to us. Oh well.

Also it is annoying that 10% price difference is applied to all regions so gifting from US to EU two big markets is not possible.

Steam might be adding new currencies. (at least code support).

Sweden, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech, Denmark, Hungary, Romania

Funnily enough this seems to be just European currencies, which is good, don't get me wrong, but there are other regions that need regional pricing too such as Tizoc's area.

Been playing this little gem from my backlog the past week or so.

Finished it in 8hrs. It started a very boring and easy but it really picked up after a couple missions. It became a fun run n gun fps with some good weapon variety and not too bad AI all things considered. That entire 6th mission was great. It was all over the place kinda challenging which reminded me a lot of the New Order/Colossus which I liked. It settled into being very similar. There was a really shitty insta fail stealth mission which made me rage a bit and some very bullet spongy enemies. Outside of that it was a blast.

I loved it (y)(y)(y) Strongly recommend

Now to find a cheap steam copy of the other one that I never played......Wolfenstein 2009.

.....

The "cyclone" emoji looks like Dreamcast logo when viewed on IOS. It could also be Ubisoft.

Well Ubisoft+ was coming to Gamepass IIRC (rumors said) so they might announce the deal.
tbh, I don't think we won't see Ubi+ coming to Steam announcement this year.

-Wolfenstein stuff-

Yeah, RTCW was great. Wolfenstein 2009 also, if you ask me, but it certainly wasnt a masterpiece. Good luck finding a Steam key for Wolf 2009 however. I dunno why Activision/Bethesda couldnt make any sort of deal to bring the game back to the platform. I have it (and played it there), but its been gone from sale for a long time now. Which is, as always, a shame.

Wow, Ubisoft+ would be a good get for Microsoft.

I hope you played it using RealRTCW, best way to play the game now.
Didn't at first but had to do it eventually to unlock widescreen, fix audio crashes and prevent fullscreen overtaking most of second monitor :p

The game definitely didn't age well in terms of all that.

Also side rant I hate the old 90fps quake engine caps with this. I had to adjust FOV several times to not go crazy. Same with Half-Life. So glad it went away with Doom 3. Even just 120hz makes it a billion times better for fps.

Red Dead 2 is pretty great once you start getting into it. I'm quite amazed at how they have woven the open-world tropes into the Western experience. It's quite the zany game, but you can get killed very, very quickly too, it's a little too punishing with the save system they have going on. Living with the consequences isn't always fun.

I'm struggling to keep on Battletech-ing though. The pacing is really slow and with mods you can't even save scum your battles.

And even better for Ubisoft. I don't think Ubisoft+ is currently very successful on pc.

Still, I'm surprised Microsoft isn't signing a deal for individual games with EA and Ubisoft. Both publishers have released lots of bad and mediocre stuff in the past few years...

The worst part of the stealth levels in that game was that you never quite knew what you did wrong. What enemy saw you and from where? Just BAM! Gameover.

Played through the game for the first time ever back in 2017 and really enjoyed it for what it was.

Ubisoft+ is hilariously mismanaged. It's available on Ubisoft's client, Stadia and Amazon Luna. That's it. No consoles. No Steam. Not even EGS.

Yeah Ubi+ has a lot of good games but I don't think it has caught a lot of PC gamers (too expensive), I only signed up for two months because they released
Watch Dogs, Valhalla, Fenyx a week or so apart. Damn though if you get Ubi+ included for the price of Gamepass suddenly you add over 120 games to the list with some good series like Anno/division/ghost recon/farcry/south park/might and magic etc...

As for EA, which ones aren't on game pass, I assume latest releases but those will come?

I gave up checking for PS5, Xbox, RTX 3k and AMD5K stuff just after launch. It's been great and made me realise that my current kit is good enough and i have enough in my existing libraries on PC/PS4 & Switch that there's no real point me adding to it with "next-gen" stuff especially when there's nothing really "next-gen" out there yet.

I'm probably not going to bother chasing upgrades until next year now. Feels great too.

I've completely given up on saving for new hardwares. I've been buying Gundam kits instead, and earlier this month I threw out $80 for a master grade Hyaku Shiki. Next month I plan to spend the same amount for Kshatriya. I've also just refilled my Steam wallet worth $100 so I'll buy and play what I can instead.

Screw saving for hardwares, I just can't take it anymore.

finished Knights and Bikes on Game Pass the other day. mechanically simplistic (reminds me somewhat of the Lego games) and overstays its welcome just a bit, a few of the later levels go on way too long, but the sheer charm of the art direction, animations, and story carries it a long way

no wonder Double Fine published it
