This is what you get in Yakuza Kiwami 2 for ignoring the main story and trying to finish the cabaret club minigame as soon as you unlock it. Gotta admit it's waaaay more addictive than I thought. Never cared for it in Yakuza 0, but now I couldn't drop it until the game literally told me to take a break and do some main missions already. It makes me want to replay 0 and do all the sub stories and main minigames I missed. Hopefully it won't feel too dated after spending a few dozen hours with the Dragon Engine.

Frog Fractions: Game of the decade edition released. It's free to play but it also has paid "Iconic Cap" DLC..... Anyone want to take a punt on it to see if it is just a hat....

From the trailer, it looks like it's just a hat.
Fits with the "haha, Steam makes money on DLC hats" meme; also gives a way to support the devs if you really like the fact that they ported FF from Flash and released on Steam, I'd guess.

PC indie games sell well in Nippon

Nippon

Also my LEGO NES set and other Mario stuff have now shipped it may take a week or so to arrive, and may get in the way of HZD.

I'm guessing that the game will have no pre-load?

Marvelous Rated NMH1 for the switch, so I expect this to be big part of next "partner showcase" direct from Nintendo. and before you ask, yes, I think all Marvelous games will come to PC after a limited time exclusivity.

Yeah I'm pretty sure anything they can port they will, I remember Marvelous Inc. being satisfied with Senran Kagura and in partyicular pointing out Estival Versus strong back catalogue sales back then, and since then they have kept porting to PC everything they could it seems.

Makes sense; I mean, Travis Strikes Again, or whatever that spinoff is called exactly, is already on Steam.

That's correct and their PC ports doesn't take too long (at least the switch console exclusives that become multiplat) and here you have a few examples.

Daemon X Machina took 153 days to come to PC
Travis Strikes Again took 272 days to come to PC (and PS4)

Damn, if it wasn't for this delirious season pass I would already have bitten on Atelier Ryza.

But the season pass doesn't hold anything worthwhile, only costumes
5 new stories and a zone ! :anguished-face:
Maybe totally anecdotal stories, granted.

I tried to fight my non gaming inertia and my fear to add another mmo to my plate, launched Fallout 76 on GamePass (ESO will be nuked from my SSD soon anyways).
The game told me I didn't have the authorizations to play in multiplayer and refused to launch past the start screen.
...
Now there is a big chance it was due to the stupid MS authorization boxes that appear each time you first launch a GP game, and that on a second try it will launch, but I'm not sure I'm in the mood anymore :thinking-blob:

FM delayed and more platforms/stores
What I can confirm today is that, despite all the problems going on in the world, there will be new Football Manager games released later this year. They will be delivered a little later than we’d originally planned, but they’ll have exceptionally strong feature sets… albeit different to those we thought we’d settled on back in January when I completed my ‘dream feature set’.
...
Our games will be on more platforms and available on more stores than ever before when they’re released later this year but, with regards to features and release dates, it’s a little too early for us to talk about the specifics right now.

I haven’t gotten the season pass but from what I read googling a bit those don’t seem too ... huh essential
Yeah, and after checking, better buy those separately than the pass.

So does anyone know I should start Fallout 1 when I installed the et tu/f1inf2 mod? Do I just start the game from the FO1 exe, the f2.exe in the f1inf2 folder or something else?

Yeah it's pretty addicting, I would love a separate "mini-game" based only on the cabaret lol

I'm really liking Horizon Chase Turbo. Definitely worth checking out if you have it in your library. It's a really good looking game, and a decent way to kill some time.

I'd like to see them do another, but with some drifting involved.

I must admit that with the extent of KT greed on Ryza, I have to make a fucking effort to keep my morality. Too much fragmentation of the game, pre-order shit that is now unavailable, deluxe edition, season pass. There really comes a point when you ask yourself if it's really worth it to be legit.

Kingdom Come Deliverance, Yokus Island Express, Where Water Taste Like Wine and Space Hulk Tactics leaves game pass PC the 16th this month.

Good thing I own them on Steam so I don't have to stress myself in having to finish them.

I think I've been hyping this game before
Rule of thumb: If I recommend a game, move it up on your backlog ;P

Not many months until 2020 is over and the only Sony showcase for now is the rumored State of Play.

My Bloodborne hope is dwindling. If State of Play happens and no Bloodborne, even on PS5, there's no hope left for me.

Gaming weekend recap:

Friday: DRG and a little bit of Grounded with friends/bro. DRG was great as usual. Grounded looks promising but we started too late and my teammates were not interested in learning how to play. I like the ability to easily find your gear from your last death, keeps the frustration problem low.

(Note, Saturday onwards was all PS4 Slim)

Saturday: Control; The Foundation DLC. I could go on and on about my love for control, from the character of Jesse Faden, to the graphics on, to how it apes SPC Foundation (that is Secure Contain Protect) The DLC is complete and I'm looking forward the final dlc and keeping hope alive for a follow up.
I also played a bit of Driveclub, Mass Effect Andromeda. Driveclub is a classic, Mass Affect is... its not bad. Its overly criticized.

Sunday: Uncharted TLL and Batman Arkham Knight. Arkham Knight still looks great at times and super hero games have never seen its equal in terms of visual design. Uncharted TLL is something I should love but I don't.

Verdict; My PS4 rocks but I need more storage, I'll be investing in an external 1TB drive soon. I'll most likely be add TLOU2, Cyberpunk 2077 to my collection this year and I feel it'll have a lot of life in it until at least 2022. I could probably run Cypberpunk 2077 on my computer but my life is in some serious flux and its far easier and takes up way less space to just hook up a PS4 to a small monitor, speakers and charge the DS4 off my wall charger when needed.

I noticed you only appeared in about half the leaderboards. You should go back to it! The later areas can be very pretty.

I wouldn't expect a SoP that is aimed at drumming up hype for the PS5 to announce a PC port of a PS4 game, but you never know.

Oh I don't expect a PC version to be announced is SoP, but rather have an own trailer or something separate from SoP.

The later races are rather tough so I should def. et back to it someday :)
If you want to make it easier on yourself, go for gold medals on the earlier stages. You unlock a new car for every gold country. Then, as you continue on, be sure to do the upgrade stages as they unlock. You'll soon get some cars with some really good traction, making those curvy stages a breeze.

One final complaint: Apparently the DS4 will NOT work with PS5 games on the PS5.

I get it, Sony's "fuck you pay me" which I expect nothing less than from them.

But, as a long time PC gamer as well, spending $60 on a controller and NOT being able to use it for 5+ years, it grates a bit.
