I’m in the process of doing the debt snowball attack, so I’m working on my 1,000+ Steam backlog... but I am trying to save up something for the Winter “Sale.”

what was wrong with the kb+m controls? when i played it i didn't notice anything bad...
Problem for me was that reload, interact/pickup and something else was the same button. Can't really remember though, been far too long but I actually had to play with a controller.

Still no Katamari Damacy Reroll Steam page has appeared and the supposedly edly release date is today or tomorrow. What the hell, Bamco?? I could understand if this was a new IP you’re publishing but it’s freakin’ Katamari.

I surely hope it comes, man. I love the series and may be selling my Switch, so I need it to be on Steam.

well if they haven't put that store page up yet it won't be up until it actually releases .... so probably 28h from now

Somebody send me a discord invite if there is one for MC.
I don't remember my MC password so I can't log into the site through my phone :V

there isn't one :P and you already are in my server, lol

Lu Bu pursued me!

you have a lot to do with the base game alone... all the gameplay and mechanis updates get rolled out to everyone. But the DLC ads lots of special mechanics, tech, stories, fluff, races, concepts and so on...
But I would say just get the base game, look if you like it and get the DLC later on sale if you wanna have more Stellaris goodness

Tizoc 's screenshots from Ittle Dew pretty much sold me on the game lol. That said, I really don't wanna be buying things again until the Winter Sale!

It looks really cute/funny. Even though it's kinda old by now... Totally missed this one.

Def. grab it during the upcoming sale, as it's bound to go for dirt cheap.

As for the best Atelier, it's still Eternal Mana. Although it could be you had to be there at that time case, as with most of games, it still is great today imo. If we include spinoffs, no Atelier game can beat Mana Khemia.
Mana Khemia isn't a spinoff.
It's literally called 9th game in Atelier Series. MK2 is #10. Then Rorona is #11.
(The video opening for each game have these numbers in filenames)
SMH, Arthea. Was expecting more from you.

Also, lashman, I think it was fspm who had beef with QLOC.

Wonder if I'll get to finish Fata Morgana tonight, probably not. I want to play Smash as soon as I get home tomorrow, but this game is so good and I don't want to stop, even for a while.

Also, I'm debating whether to start Ys: Ark of Napishtim or Hitman 2016 (using Hitman 2 as the launcher) afterwards, in parallel with Smash. Which one should I choose?

Bamco still hasn't grasped this store page thingy for a bunch of their releases.
Expect the page to go up the minute the game releases with no prior information and lots of confusion on whether the game is coming out or not throughout the day with no official word.
It's baffling.

Hitman is awesome! ;)
And, episodic/mission based, so if you are like me and are always lacking time and/or ocassionally patience to play games, you can easily play a mission, stop, and come back to it weeks later.

If you do end up playing it, do play the locations using the Hitman 2 launcher, it features new gameplay elements.

That sounds perfect, thanks! During the week I'm often tired to sit down and play for long, so knowing that the game can be played in short sessions is great. Hitman it is. And yep, I already downloaded the free H2 launcher, even though I didn't buy the game itself, to play the H1 content with its improvements.

Hopefully there's a way to unlock the resolution in Vesperia by way of .ini edit of some kind. Secondly, I hope they've learned their lesson and the frametimes will be consistent (as opposed to unmodded Zestiria/Berseria).

Ahahaha, I saw that they removed the store page for Satisfactory some days ago and now I see it on the Epic Games Store.

Wasn't Ashen supposed to already be released? It still shows as TBD on steam.

Edit: it is exclusive to epic store now? What a shit move, and it's US$40 there with no regional price.

Aight what titles, excluding Epic store, were announced during game awards but don't have steam pages yet? I know I watched the show but I can forget some things :V

Acti says 'No'
But they really know it is 'Yes'
They just can't say it out :V

Anyways played some more Dynasty Warriors 7 XL. The visuals are like early PS3 but I don't mind. I'm enjoying Musou-ing my way through it.
I'll prob. only do the main Story modes then move onto some other game.

I'll aim to finish up Darksiders 3 then play AC: Freedom Cry since I bothered to install it :V After that Jotun.

how's the port?

how's the port?
It works.
That's about as much as I can say
IT works. There's nothing fancy about it but it is a port of a 2011 PS3 game with visuals from the early PS3 period :V

Funnily enough PS3 debued in late 2006, same case as many console systems before it.
5 years after the system's launch and the game's visuals look like it would've been 'mindblowing' in 2006/2007 :V

This whole thing with the Epic Games store is a great way to save me money. :)

For example, Genesis Alpha One, a game previously announced to launch on Steam early next year, and which I was planning to purchase, will now launch only on the Epic Games Store, with no launch date on Steam.

I'm all for supporting developers. That's why I keep buying games, especially indie games, at launch, when I'll probably only play them months (or years) later. And that's why I backed hundreds of crowdfunding campaigns, for example.
But, when these companies basically tell me "no, purchasing our game is no longer enough; you will have to purchase it from "x" store", that's where I have no problems whatsoever in taking my money, and purchase another entertainment product, be it another game, or a Blu-Ray, or whatever.

I buy most of my games on Steam. I also buy from GOG, Uplay, Origin, Humble, among others. Sometimes with bad results (my purchases from the Telltale store, or some of the content I purchased from the Windows Live store),
I will not buy games from a company that basically abandoned the PC as soon as Microsoft waved around a few bucks, and whose definition of long term support, like the recent development of the latest Unreal Tournament showed, is very short lived.

Also, is it really competition when you only sell the game on Epic Games Store? Where is GMG, Humble Bundle etc?
I understand that it's a part of the moneyhat but my mind just goes blank when thinking about competition. Maybe I should just go and play Katamari that I bought yesterday...

I totally agree with you, this is not competition it's just burning money from Fortnite. As consumers if we want to benefit from competition every store has to be able to offer the same games. Otherwise it's just fireworks and bad for consumers.

I guess it's time for some of us to finally start playing games from our backlogs. ;)

This is my goal. Period. I'm trying not to spend, though I'll save up a little for the Winter Sale.

it is .... someday ... maybe

I'll be furious if it doesn't, but I assume "time exclusive."

Wait, is Ashen not coming to Steam? I have ZERO plans to purchase on Epic.
Yeah, Ashen is now listed as Epic Games store exclusive.
Many games that were announced for launch on Steam, and even had Steam pages (Genesis Alpha One is another example), are now only launching at the Epic Games store, and will either remain exclusive, or launch months later on Steam.

Hard to know exactly. Genesis is supposedly a timed exclusive according to a community rep but devs are being vague or not talking at all. Standard practice, I assume they are under strict instructions to heavily imply exclusivity by Epic. The Satisfactory's dev was particularly craven in his response, I suspect that one is gone until he is desperate for cash.
