Onimusha 2 was my favorite by far. Replayed it so many times.I hope the new Onimusha game means Capcom will go back and remaster the other games. I'm still annoyed that they only remastered the first one. I really enjoyed it and was looking forward to playing the sequels but they never came.
I'll just quote my reaction from the Geoffs 2024 threadI must say that one thing from TGA that made me bit sad was new Warren Spector game. I really wish it was SP game and not MP one.
"A new world premier by Warren Spector, the maker of Deus Ex!" Yes
"IMMERSIVE" OH YES
"MULTIPLAYER" FUCK
I achieved a high enough rank in Marvel Rivals to get the Moon Knight skin they're offering (I haven't played Moon Knight yet). I like the game a lot more than I thought I would, but it's going on the back burner for now so I can play through Indiana Jones and the new Helldivers 2 expansion.
We really need an Onimusha collection on SteamI hope the new Onimusha game means Capcom will go back and remaster the other games. I'm still annoyed that they only remastered the first one. I really enjoyed it and was looking forward to playing the sequels but they never came.
I'm really not holding my breath for adequate port quality.
I'd be positively surprised if they have a working LoD / draw distance setting or ultrawide support (never mind both).
TEXTURES - The Level of Detail (LoD) for background models and MIP maps for background textures can both be freely configured in the options settings. With this background polygon density and texture density can be set higher than was previously possible, allowing for gameplay with higher-quality graphics.
Well, you got one prediction right at least
They are on the verge of running out of games to port to PC so I think it has to happen next year. And yet Sony still haven't released Demon Souls, a game that seems like an absolute no brainer for PC.
I would expect GT7 and Demons Souls. Basically anything that has a native PS5 version I expect first, then older titles depending on how they're approaching things. Most likely do native PS5 patches then PC. They should also get the PS4 versions of UC123 on there at some point. Ship has sailed on them doing decently when they brought UC TLL + 4 instead of these first though. Either way, first all native PS5 games is how I expect things to go.They are on the verge of running out of games to port to PC so I think it has to happen next year.
So far we are getting TLOU2 and Spider-Man 2 for the first half of next year.
But what about the the summer and second half? They have to start thinking about Demon Souls and Bloodborne if they haven't already. There is really not much else for them to do next year unless they push out Astro Bot early. And I don't see them doing Gran Turismo.
Either they have to go to DS and BB or maybe they go for very niche titles like Gravity Rush + Shadow of the Colussus.
Or the 2nd half of next year is gonna be dry for them on PC.
Also if they are able to acquire Kadokawa in the next 6 months...I could see FromSoft being allowed to straight up port BB to PC/PS5 and maybe even the OG Demon Souls.

Just caught up and this is the only game I'm really interested in.
Schreier was right. I actually did say, Holy s**t!
I've posted about the insane regional pricing, hoping they notice.
oh, but they know! they just don't give a shitI've posted about the insane regional pricing, hoping they notice.
Yeah, I’m delighted that they didn’t budge an inch after the TLOU2 reactions from the chuds. I wish Star Wars had that kind of backbone. After what happened with TLOU2 I'm actually surprised that ND set themselves up to be targeted by the same basement dwelling neanderthals again.
Kudos to them for sticking to their vision.
The amount of hate and entitlement in the gaming community is just sickening. Can't help but notice that it's especially strong among Americans.

They've been slow walking toward this for a while now it seemsPlatinumGames might be dying with several departures being noticed:
Is PlatinumGames dying out? Numerous big name staff is leaving
This isn't just a reaction thread to the Okami news, there's some evidence. I'd be surprised if it was much worse, since Square Enix does seem to carry the scars of their worst ports. Like, after FFXIII I'm pretty sure they haven't released a single game in a long while that doesn't pop up a window to ask if you're closing a game. Maybe shader pre-comp will be something similar.FF7R showing up on green man gaming for pre-order @ $40.17 USD.
If you're gonna pre-order might as well get it cheaper. Though waiting to see the port quality is probably wiser.
There are some motion control gimmicks that already have an option to be remapped to the joystick. A PC version would be easily possible. To those that played it (if any), is there any chance Astro Bot is gonna come to PC eventually? Or is it reliant on specific hardware features like the VR game?
It is possible yesTo those that played it (if any), is there any chance Astro Bot is gonna come to PC eventually? Or is it reliant on specific hardware features like the VR game?

In 2025 I will continue to play games I enjoy the way I enjoy, and I will continue to buy games I want to support at launch and at full price if they earned itWe are approaching year's end, do you have any gaming plan for the upcoming year?
we don't do this sort of stuff around here!In 2025 I will continue to play games
I approve your Witcher plan, although keep in mind that first book (Last Wish) is slightly weaker than the next ones and the same applies to the games. Although there are people who disagree with that of course. And even if you do not enjoy Witcher 1 (I would recommend playing it in OTS mode instead of isometric btw), give TW2 and TW3 a try since they are both huge step forward in presentation and production values. We are approaching year's end, do you have any gaming plan for the upcoming year?
1) Play Monster Hunter WildsWe are approaching year's end, do you have any gaming plan for the upcoming year? Here are my two main objectives:
1. Dive into the Witcher series. My only experience with the IP was a few Netflix episodes (which were pretty bad). After watching the Witcher 4 trailer, I did research and made a trip to the library and grabbed the first two books. I am going to slowly read through the books and play through the games (if I enjoy the journey, of course).
2. Continue my adventure in Girls' Frontline universe. GFL2 at the moment is very enjoyable, but the 8-year accumulation of GFL1 story as well as its multiple spinoff was a world waiting for exploration and truly demands time investment. Have already started reading through them since a few months ago.
They should help me reduce the spending on new games, too. I can just borrow the books from library and buy Witcher 3 (which is dirt cheap on sale. Already own 1 and 2), and the story playthroughs of GFL1 are on YouTube. Cheap ass gamer wins.

Gonna try to finish Metaphor and Midnight Suns before Rebirth comes out. Then it'll be all about FF7 for a few months. After that I'm not sure. I do intend to replay Nier Automata at some point.
