CCU is gonna be botched since a lot of people have played through and finished the game already because of the Deluxe Edition so we’ll never get an accurate peak sadly

That's for sure, but apparently TC has no manpower to spare to a "dead game", so we're stuck with a shitty, broken UWP version. Or with the OG port, which runs better, but looks worse. I seriously hope MS will port their UWP backlog to Steam. It's not like there's much - GoW UE, GoW4, HW2 and I think that's it? I doubt they'll bother with Forza Motorsport, since there's a new one coming out soon and the games have license expirations.
Oh wow, booting the devs from the project is a super bad sign. Like, having a completely new team pick up where they left off doesn't seem realistic at this point. This is either all but cancelled or getting rebooted completely.

I am not surprised: the game is too ambitious. The best they could hope for is to reach a state similar to the one of Cyberpunk 2077. Given the studio's track record (just that F2P game called Blacklight) and what I assume the lack of funds compared to CDPR's liquid assets for the development of Cyberpunk 2077, their ambition should have been closer to The Witcher 2 or Vampyr, I would say.Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines 2 is cursed.

Told you. Either TC is really low on manpower, or they're very inefficient. Post-game support shouldn't take that many people, especially considering their output isn't anything grand and it's been pretty long since the game came out.
I use Vanced and it does the job pretty well. I'm not sure about alternatives, that's all I know since it's popular.

That may be a good sign to kick the devs. If what they're doing is THAT bad, it may be better to shut down and reboot the project with a better team. It shows that Paradox is not giving up on the quality of the project, it's better than see a very shitty game being released (hello Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Earthblood).

Bringing old Gears games on PC was part of the plan when The Coalition were finishing Gears 5. But then something went wrong, Rod Fergusson left the studio, Coalition focused on Gears 5 updates, and since then I haven't heard about Gears PC ports since then. There were talks about making full remakes of Gears 1-3 (yeah, even despite the fact that they already released GoW 1 Ultimate Edition), but no clue if it went anywhere either. Fergusson is one of the rare people who are actually good at studio management stuff, he saved BioShock Infinite from development hell and produced 2 AAA Gears games for MS within relatively short time, without him I expect that it'll take some time before we hear anything new from Coalition except support stuff. And yeah, this is not even a DLC, but a new "Operation" (Battle Pass season for PvP/PvE modes) for Gears 5, so nothing to see here for those who don't care about Gears multiplayer.
Gloomwood, Graven and Weird West should be all coming in 2021 I think
