Oh true but fact it can run it at all still bowls me over given it’s a ps5 exclusive (and that it’s not well optimised! ) I didn’t think the Deck would be pulling that sort of thing offI would say Forspoken is not the best example given how poorly optimized it is in general but yes, it's a little beast.
I literally had to close in to to read this. I should increase text size in my browser D:Apart for the deteriorating eyesight I'm kind on the opposite of this video
Yikes! but I feel ya, I had a bad back since my teens due to the lovely Bechterew disease. A joy to live with.I've had a bad back all week, can hardly stand up without rolling onto my side, can't bend down without emitting an old man groan.
The reason - dragged the spare mattress out from under the bed for my bro in law to stay on last Friday, must have tweaked something.
Sucks getting old.
I had this earlier too, seems to work now again? What is happening with Steam?
yeah, but also...just let people play whatever they want i never got the "indies are better than AA/AAA" or vice versa. whatever you wanna play, play keep an open mind to games of all budgets, i guessIt will never not be funny to see *indies go largely ignored while you have multiple active TLOU threads on the front page with banger titles like, "I just saw a butterfly in TLOU!" and "What flavor of popcorn do you eat when watching TLOU on HBO?"
I mean, I get it and it's all good. But damn, people be missing out sometimes.
* real indies, not token "AA-indies" with 7 & 8-figure budgets and major studio marketing backing them.
reminds me of that twitter account that regularly tweets out that Thatcher is still dead.I just found this Youtube channel. Lol.
I thought they fixed it a while ago?I especially hate that it runs non-steam shortcuts in the background for some reason...
It’s… inconsistent. I love the new BPM but it still needs a lot of work in places.I thought they fixed it a while ago?
seems like the nesbots tweets (showing new threads) will no longer work after February 9th
hope he goes to Mastadon or something
Im 27 and the tired one is me nowadays.
This hits waaaay too close to home
"From the developers ofTurtle Rock Studios is actually pretty small for a studio making AAA games. We don’t have quite enough folks to continue working on Back 4 Blood content while we spin up another game – yes, another game! Given this, it’s time for us to put our heads down, get back in the lab, and get to work on the next big thing.
Interested, but would love for Sony to drop some official goddamn drivers for Dualsense already.
I'd get an Xbox Elite controller if it wasn't a complete lottery with the A button shenanigansInterested, but would love for Sony to drop some official goddamn drivers for Dualsense already.
FFXIV is the only game I've experienced native DS5 support. And it's just "ok." It could be a lot better with help from Sony.
Although speaking of ergonomics I prefere the XBOX controller I'm really happy with purchasing the 8BitDo. Always connected and never out of batteries are 2 of the rarest joys of lifeI’ve found the 8BitDo Ultimate to do everything I need it to as far as controllers go.
Yeah, it’s not quite as comfortable as the Xbox controller but the remappable buttons (via 8BitDo software) is better than nothing. And no fear of dodgy A buttons on a £150 gamepad.Although speaking of ergonomics I prefere the XBOX controller I'm really happy with purchasing the 8BitDo. Thanks for reminding me this exist. Might order one soon. I have a 8BitDo SN Pro+ that I adore. Forza Horizon 5 doesn't like it for some reason though. And in Hades sometimes it got 'stuck'.I’ve found the 8BitDo Ultimate to do everything I need it to as far as controllers go.
I also really like it.I’ve found the 8BitDo Ultimate to do everything I need it to as far as controllers go.
Still daily driving this puppy:I also really like it.
Regarding the remapping, Steam input support would be better, but I am quite happy that you don't need to continuously use their software in any way and can just program binding profiles into the controller.
One thing I didn't expect is how nice having the charging dock is. Sure, it's just a minor convenience in the grand scheme of things, but the controller always being stored in its place and always being fully charged when you pick it up is... nice.
And finally, 50€ (the non-BT version) is an actually sane price, unlike what has been happening recently with those "pro" controllers.
I play with a controller like 99% of the time.Do you usually just use your controller to play anything or use KBM for certain games?
I usually do 50/50 but wanna try using more my controllers!I play with a controller like 99% of the time.
I use KBM for everything where aiming is a core gameplay feature (I think the most recent game in this category I played was Neon White).Do you usually just use your controller to play anything or use KBM for certain games?
About the only thing I think the 2.4ghz only version is missing is Hall effect sensors.I also really like it.

Any problems with the comfort? The grip curve is straighter than xbox/sony offerings and I was worried it would get uncomfortable for extended playing. How's your experience with that?I also really like it.

I'm so happy for the Adams' brothers and the extras they hired for art assets and sound production. The Bay 12 Games Report, February 1st 2023

Dwarf Fortress grossed $7.2 million in its launch month.
Yeah it have, also isent this the game that forced you to use an EGS account even if you had the game on steam?
This last week has been kinda bad for live games
Well that sucks. I don't play it anymore but it was a very well made game.

I really want to play it, but I'm already juggling Fire Emblem Engage and Dead Space Remake. So I finished Hi-Fi Rush.
Best character action game since DMC5. Completely shits on Bayonetta 3 from orbit. I’m still pretty salty about how badly Platinum fucked that one up.
Yep.Yeah it have, also isent this the game that forced you to use an EGS account even if you had the game on steam?
Its already out where I live at least? I used my laptop yesterday and Steam BPM launched in Steam Deck mode - it looks exactly the same as the portable client.whens this new steam os update coming out on PC for new big picture?
Knockout City (EA)This last week has been kinda bad for live games
Hm. I wouldn't say it like that. It's less that the bubble has burst - live service games still are massively popular and massive money makers. It's more that the current sub-markets within the larger live service market are saturated and trying to get into them is a humongous undertaking.Clearly the bubble has burst on live service games.
whoa , FF7 modes is beyond "adventurous" .... i went to check how to install 7th heaven and all the realted "Tsunamods" (mostly new textures for lot of things + now fandub too) and the steps scared me enough not to postpone dealing with itI think I'm good, but damn, the linux side of the deck is... moderate difficulty mode and the ff7 patch, on a sd, is me being adventurous.
Well, I only dabbled in the reunion mod myself, but yeah, the process is pretty involved.whoa , FF7 modes is beyond "adventurous" .... i went to check how to install 7th heaven and all the realted "Tsunamods" (mostly new textures for lot of things + now fandub too) and the steps scared me enough not to postpone dealing with it
