Kerbal Space Program 2

The original Kerbal Space Program is one of the most beloved games of all time and, years after its release, it's bigger than ever before. Its sequel, Kerbal Space Program 2, has been fully redesigned from the ground up to meet the demands of modern and next-generation space exploration, all while maintaining the monumental foundations of the first game. Build a space program, construct powerful spacecraft, and navigate expansive celestial bodies as you explore cosmic mysteries.

As the game updates progress, players will gain access to a whole new set of next generation tools and technology including new engines, parts, fuel, and much more. This new tech will not just create novel puzzles for players to solve, but will also enable new feats of space exploration within and beyond the original Kerbolar System.

Brand new to Kerbal Space Program 2 are colonies. Colonies not only pose their own physics challenges, but also require resource gathering to build structures, space stations, habitations, and unique fuel types. Eventually, these colonies become advanced enough for vehicle construction, propelling deep space exploration and beyond.

Next-gen tech, colonies, and systematic resource gathering all lead to a whole new level of exploration: interstellar travel. In Kerbal Space Program 2, interstellar technologies pave the way to a host of new star systems and celestial bodies, each comprising novel challenges and harboring secret treasures. Among them: Charr, a heat-blasted world of iron; Ovin, a ringed super-Earth with relentless gravity; Rask and Rusk, a binary pair locked in a dance of death; and many more to reward exploration.

The technological developments made to the foundations of Kerbal Space Program 2 will build on the beloved modding capabilities of the original game, as well as deliver on the long-requested addition of multiplayer. Soon players will be able to share the challenges of deep space exploration. More details on these features will be revealed at a later time.

Thanks for the thread Mor.

Man, RE4R is going to be amazing. I don't think I'm ready.
New enemies, a new weapon, sidequests, no QTEs, fucking hell, the hype is out of control.
I wish I could support Ishin but I won't be able to afford RE4 if I buy another game.
I saw the news. I was already so hyped for RE4 and now I'm fuming

Kvik Thanks to you I discovered several interesting VN !
Though, while this is not one of the never read about VN, what about Tokyo Necro ? Am I right to suppose, given the title, age gating of the page and topic, that this is one of those gory trauma inducing VN ?

It's a Nitro+ title, so a big helping of suffering and a dash of rape is to be expected. :flare_smirk:

But more seriously, it's a cyberpunk-themed chuunige, so if you enjoyed Baldr Sky, chances are you are going to like this one. Although, I'm not sure if there's going to be actual mecha fights in Tokyo Necro.

With how AI and other weird internet shit is progressing these past couple of years... its starting to make me curious how long before AI will be able to generate really good games with ease. Can already see some dystopian future where devs and artist aren't even needed anymore. They will just build AI game generators inside graphics engines. Or the big pubs will buy up or create their own generators so they can sell you them like its own platform/console. Will be a massive shit show in terms of both game preservation and monetization.

The next generation of gamers could be in for some weird things.

On the flip side it will be kind of crazy if in the future you could input a couple of parameters and a generator quickly generates you a great game.

Imagine inputing "Souls Like" + "Metroidvania" + "Platformer" = and It instantly generates something of high quality like Hollow Knight. :sweaty-blob:

From Bethesda's Redfall FAQ
Will playing Redfall require an online connection for single player as well as co-op?

A persistent online connection is required for single player and co-op.

I've thought for a while that this game looked like a bit of a stinker, but I was trying to stay optimistic, since I usually like Arkane's games... But naw. Fuck this. I still can't believe people are tolerating this garbage for Hitman, but I hope nobody is willing to tolerate it for a game that looks as mid as Redfall.

With enough backlash they will reverse this decision.

Its not like they are making a big Destiny mmo shlooter or something. All footage shown so far shows a basic Borderlands design type game. No reason it can't be played singleplayer so its fucking bs.

Thanks for the new thread Mor!!! Happy February everyone!!!

I am starting my goal of limiting my purchases. So this month is so far only Returnal, Bust-a-Move, and Yggdra Union. I have Octopath Traveler II prepaid for as well since I purchased it at a price glitch of ~28USD and so far HB has not cancelled :plsblob: I am keeping close tabs on how Wild Hearts, Atomic Heart, Grim Guardians, Sons of Forest, Labyrinth of Galleria, and Ishin are each received. Lot of titles coming out over the next few months.

This is usually my busiest time of the year at work, but this year has been much quieter, which is both a good and bad thing. As long as I do not lose my job within the next 5ish months :plsblob: x2
