I wish Nintendo would whore out Mario Kart, but nooooo... shaking fist
finally beat story mode in MK 11 on PC. probably the first time ive finished a game in January in years, although I took a long break from MK 11 and only came back to mess around as the joker, and decided to finish up story mode. been spending lots of time with my switch lite on the go and in the evenings. 2020 looks like PC/Switch focus for now. now when people make me mad at work, i just play a round of MK lol. (yes yes i double dipped)

The European price for CODE SHIFTER on Steam is disappointing.
I'm used to conversions where they simply take a price in $, and just replace the $ for a € (despite the value of the € being superior to the $).
But, Arc System Works has done one better, and is charging $14,99 in the US, and... 16,79€ in Europe.

Tbf though, € price has taxes included and $ price not, I think, so I'm not tooo bothered by 1:1 conversions here.
But I'm not exactly knowledgeable about US taxation, so I could be completely wrong.
My understanding (that could be wrong) is since taxes in the US can vary between states and sometimes inside them they never add them until checkout, which to me looks weird.
I finished Arc of Alchemist, and the game is definitely the worst game I've ever had to review, worst game I've ever finished, and quite possibly the worst game that I've ever played - particularly on Switch.
I'm tired.

It's been months since I last checked Indiegala, but I just did, and it seems, for once, they actually have a decent bundle:

Yeah, I check IndieGala, Groupees, Humble, Fanatical and StoryBundle regularly and between them there's usually a bundle or two that i have my eye on even if i don't end up buying them.

2080Ti, with a 1440p monitor @ 144 Hz. I could "overclock" the monitor to 160, but I am not sure if that would be good for the health of the device, and I'm honestly already impressed with 144 Hz.
I assume for playing at high frequencies, the CPU actually becomes more important at some point than graphics power alone, but I assume my Ryzen 3700X is up to that task for the coming generation too
I use Barter.vg for bundles. They post them very quickly and if you log in via steam you can instantly see what you own, have on your wishlist etc...

GTX1080 at 1440p 165Hz. My monitor overdrived itself from 144 to 165 at some point and I just left it.

Still, for the current asking price, I think I'll buy both, in case the first game ever gets a translation. I still have some wallet funds from card and items sale on the Steam marketplace.

Mine is a G502 too, bought in 2015. Just googled, it seems there's an RGB version you can change at will. Now I'm jealous haha.

There are, but they're optional and mostly superfluous to the story (at least in my play through). I wouldn't suggest you play for that, play for the shootouts with t800s

I prefered the progression from the first game and here we have once again more control over our menu, which was pretty much the only thing that I didn't love about the second game.
So instead of having a selection of items that you can't change, you can select the foods from a list that varies depending on which place you're traveling through.

Once ive finished RDR2 (on chapter 6 now) my plan is to take a crack at some backlog games. Someone mentioned Hotline Miami earlier and ive had that in my library for ages so i think id like to give it a go......however.....it looks like a mouse/keyboard game. Has anyone played it with a controller? Is it worth trying to set up a custom input for it?

No, they were "fixed" after 24h or so.
I thought this IP was banned permanently, but thankfully, things returned to normal a day later.
Soon after, Augmented Steam released a fix to tackle issues with clearing big wishlists, so hopefully anyone else that tries to use it to clear a wishlist with a few thousand titles won't experience the same problems I did.
Farming Sim 19 available now. I guess this is where I finally give the series a shot.
