MonthOLDpickle welli have been wrestling with an idea of separate trailer thread , but looking at how it goes in game OT/news threads and everyoine visiting just here i gradually see less and less point in it
and tbh dont really see how can embeded video/Tweet (rarely do pictures here) take data unless you click to play it (or at least it does not for me to such degree)

Might be just easier for me to close all the opened tabs i usually have prepared for these posts and fuck it all if its such huge issue.
I've been meaning to shrink my social media presence to absolute minimum anyway , need to "reboot" my mind soon :thinking-blob:

So Space Junkies is getting non VR compatibility.
I'm not sure if the game has much to offer if you're gonna be playing it with standard mouse controls, it's just a simple deathmatch style FPS with a couple different modes and cosmetics to unlock as you gain points online, although the zero gravity environment might make it novel enough for some. On the other hand I think mouse and keyboard players will dominate the leaderboards. It's one thing to have to aim your weapons manually and another to just point and click as you've been learning to do for decades. Though many (but not all) of the weapons have actual crosshair visors to look through so you don't exactly need skill to aim I think it still makes a difference. In the fun factor too. Then again PSVR players already cross-play it with standard dual shock 4 controls vs the hand tracking on PC VR so there's that, now there's a 3rd vastly different control scheme in play.

We'll see how it is and if they've made any balance changes or if it will help the game gain players.

will have to think about it ... and experiment on mobile

sure i can do screenshots in spoilers , but imo spoilering the trailer kinda defeates the purpose of why i post that aka (posting trailers for stuff thats coming ... and steampage is there just for weasy wishlist )

To be honest, I'd also appreciate it if you could reduce the size of your posts.
I don't have a problem with the data usage, but the posts themselves tend to be these huge walls of tweets, gifs, and quotes, that are frankly a bother to wade through.

One way to accomplish this would be to not inline tweets, changelogs, and the like, but instead have a one-sentence summary with links to the sources.

Take, for example, the following:

That could be reduced to something like this, with no loss in information, while reducing the vertical space used by two thirds:

The Witch's Love Diary will release with a 10% launch discount for the first week of sale.
The PC Steam version is based off the original Japanese PC release.

And if you're just going to highlight a new store page, or the like, then don't include gifs, videos, and stuff.
People can easily see that if they follow the Steam link that you also included.

Alternatively, include the gif/video/tweet/whatever, but turn the Steam link into a simple hyperlink. For example:
Biotope, a aquarium simulator, is out now in EA

Less is more, if your goal is to have people pay attention to what you're writing about.

FW: Three Houses are getting great reviews. 9.5/10 from IGN, 9/10 from GameSpot, recommended from Eurogamer and so on.

Love Awakening on my 3DS, so this should be good. Haven't played Fates though.

not sure what i am gonna do .... , that was just what was on my mind and currently not in a good mood to think clearly :negative-blob:

currently i am in favour of either "scraps it all" or trailer thread (in similar "fuck humanity i do it for myself and myself alone" aka how i do my twitter)

One way to accomplish this would be to not inline tweets, changelogs, and the like, but instead have a one-sentence summary with links to the sources.
absolute minimum i want to have is steampage and trailer and i dont think having little hyperlink noone will ever notice for steampage is what i wanted with it ... aka mostly summary of interesting stuff thats coming in trailer form ,

but maybe its redundant with steampage thread Mor and Lashy do so and Tizoc's monthly pics :confused-face:
i guess good riddance and more time for me

Will see when my head clears out ,need to check how it looks on the phone first anyway before going all fuck phone users and deciding what to do

The game. You see - I completely forgot how JRPGs can be harsh with random encounters and I almost went mad trying to figure the Floating Continent and Locke's Phoenix Cave while dealing with those. I managed to finish it though, but ain't touching a classic JRPG for the next year unless there's a built-in way to stop random encounters.
Yeah I love JRPGs too but I also can admit that random encounters can sometimes get a little annoying, especially when you're already occupied with trying to find your way around a tricky dungeon. I remember one specifically nasty dungeon towards the end of Dragon Quest 2, the final dungeon in fact if I'm not mistaken, where looking for the exit was testing my nerves enough on its own without those random encounters piling up on me too every 10 freaking seconds. Still, I wouldn't have it any other way... well except for the times where I would and I'd "cheat engine" my way out of the tedium

prudis Take some time off it for a while, it's not a job so if it's not fun for you then back away for a bit and recharge. I rarely view sites on mobile so i can't comment on the formatting and i'd obviously like to see you carry on but not if it's a chore. Get a cuppa, sit back, put your feet up and chat bollocks with the rest of us for a bit.

Good! I wonder how long they plan to keep it in public beta. If it's just the standard cadence it will be public quite quickly after the public beta.
What I really wonder is if this is just a public number of games we see and there is way more coming but in private mode such as unreleased games OR massive updates.
Its Namco. We probably wont get a store page until September. Still waiting for the Ni No Kuni page.
Nah, difference is that they are already opening digital pre-orders for digimon so expect a page sooner rather than later.

I refunded wolfenstein on steam, I just can't support what they did to this. Who knew co-op would be the least of the game's problems?

Why didn't anyone tell me Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom has a soundtrack by Yuzo Koshiro (Streets of Rage series, Shenmue, Etrian Odyssey series, ...) and Michiru Yamane (Castlevania series), among others?

Now I really need to get it!

They said pre-orders starting today, so I assume that means a store page going up today.

What?! Wolfenshlooter? How can they mess that up?!

Chinese Parents: Lashman update released:

90 hours in Dota Underlords... send help. Such a good mobile game to play while I'm recharging my phone. Also I think at least a third of the time played is steam I play it when I've just minimised it.

you really want me to put you on ignore, don't you? :disapproval-blob:
Of course not - I would hate to miss the day when you finally reveal what's your favorite anime and your MyAnimeList profile with 500+ animes listed as completed.

Is it known if you can share the PC Xbox Gamepass like a Netflix sub or the account ties in PC make it problematic?
Hm, I should try it later. I found this but don't know if it would work in the same computer with different accounts.

Is the game that bad?

I'll link my post from the wolf review thread

I highly recommend watching alannah's video though it's really well done, but tl:dr

I was worried when they said it was a co-op game but what I was not ready for was

  • A game light on any story
  • Daily/weekly grind shit
  • Cosmetics
  • A game that has 3 different currencies to purchase said cosmetics
  • bullet sponge enemies because they forced in levels (and honestly probably a result of co-op focus too)
  • the game even has "raids".

So basically I wasn't expecting to get the division 3.

Ah I see. The Mtx thing is definetely disappointing, but I like looter shooter mechanics so... I'm still willing to give it a chance.

If anyone has a Nintendo Switch, and wants a free copy of Hamsterdam (see below the Steam page), send me a PM for the key.
The first one to send me a message gets it.

guess what's the new egsclusive:

But, can you debate post-modern philosophy of Queen's Blade on AniDB?
Of course you can! I debated the deep philosophical points of Noir on AniDB before some of you were born, and you can probably still find it if you want to make fun of me ;)

In all seriousness though, AniDB is one of the most feature-rich and "complete" hobby-related sites out there, and still entirely non-commercial and ad-free after almost 2 decades in operation. It's admirable.
