I don't like to be the bad cop but that user registered just to be able to enter Mona's GAs.
And sorry for the off-topic but it's something that I particular don't like.
Restrict Mona to normal users then? Not sure how I feel about that but I dislike what this user is doing.
Can’t we have a rule that for someone to count as an active member they need five posts in the last 48 hours? So essentially a no lurker rule.
i had an idea to make the "no lurker" restriction have a time bracket ... kinda like what volvo did with the Deck reservations ... something like "you need to have posted at least X times between X days/weeks/months ago, and a week ago" ... that kind of thing

should hopefully prevent people just spamming the posts randomly to get above the threshold
I have a couple of ideas on how to combat this issue:

1. In addition to the "no-lurkers" rule, a MetaMember can only enter a giveaway if they have posted more than 5 times in the thread that the giveaway was posted.
2. In the case of long-term MetaMember who seldom post in the thread, or after a long time absence wanting to enter a giveaway, they must meet a threshold of received reaction score. My rationale for this is that if you're contributing to the community, other members will react to your contribution, however small it is.

Y'all should play Samurai Warriors 5 or I'm gonna rage musou you.
If what Naroh said isn't enough incentive, the nude mods are in the works as we speak.

I don't think adding even more "restriction options" to Mona right now is the best approach. The way I see it, there are already enough restrictions in place to combat this issue. So far, it seems like a single "bad apple" decided to spam 5 posts in order to meet the lurker requirement. None of those posts were at all contributing to MC in any meaningful way. They're all emojis. I caught onto it instantly, too.

I haven't had a chance to engage in MC's content removal/moderation system, but I believe we can report such posts. T&C

Other options available to anyone that creates a giveaway in the future:

Past Winner Restriction: One week. This will stop such users from simply entering whatever giveaways they can, but I do understand it's not the most ideal solution since it applies to all users.

Applying the count post made in X days restriction: Again, it's another user-wide restriction, but considering this particular user has not made any posts since July 22, a creator can apply a 5 day or one-week rule to the giveaway. If the user tries to get over this restriction, it'll be pretty obvious since they're going to post nothing but spam.

I've also increased the minimum post count requirement to 10. If the user tries the same thing again, I believe the best thing to do would be to report the user's content. Happy to reduce the count back to 5 if everyone here feels that's fair, or we can keep it at 10.

If none of MC's current methods work to solve the issue, then I believe we can look into adding more restrictions to the giveaways.

I am wondering why Mary Skelter Finale skips PC release. Considering NISA signaled that they are not doing great on PC, is Idea Factory also having bad sales on PC? :disappointed-face:

Don't think that's the case though since most of IF games have a PC release (except for Mary Skelter and their Otome games).

Sorry to ask but for NISA when did they show their PC sales is bad though? Can't really remember them saying this

NISA did not explicitly say it, but they raised the msrp of their past titles and did not release some titles on PC (like Mary Skelter Finale, console only). It seems that both of them are not having a good time on PC anyway, judging from the review count from some of their recent titles.

For that you could just buy a modmic (like the Boompro or the antillion).
What'sthe point of adding microphone to basically broken headphones (ear cushions are worn off, headband adjustment broken, cable has issues sometimes...).
just use laptops integrated mic with good headphones for ultimate qautily for lower cost.
I didn't pull out my laptop from it's bag for years :p

I didn't mean to the broken ones it was (a proposal) for a cheap version of non-gaming headphones + a mike.
Nah as I said I am not heavy user and Arctis 1 is perfectly fine for my needs. It was best bang for the buck for me (looking at the availability and local prices).

might be tied to the fact that Mary Skelter 1 was ported and published ony PC by Ghostlight ..... the MS2 and now MS3 so far has been console only.
I guess there might be some contractual things between Iffy/NISA/Ghostlight that needs to be sorted our first .

kinda reminds me we havent had new Ghostlight port for quite some time

Im installing a few games on Origin to see if Im still interested in playing them as Im considering to uninstall Origin, as in games like Syndicate, MoH Warfighter, games that EA didn't bother to put anywhere else or that I don't own on Steam and has too high price on Steam (NFS 2015).

Holy shit Origin is still so bad, laggy, slow, jusat awful all around. I also don't have EA Desktop App installed because that thing also sucks a lot.

Well, increasing the prices is not going to help with that. :confused-face:

That's because they don't care about how to cultivate a good fanbase on the platform, keep the consistency and promote your games as much as you want, if you cut all the ports all the sudden, people will move on.

Yea sad to see some interesting games from NISA will not release on PC :cryblob:

But still IMO for Idea Factory it's better to assume that Mary Skelter is the outlier instead since Idea Factory is pretty supportive on PC platform. They are even willing to restore the old costumes for the pc release of DER2.

Erm, Argentinian Meta. Can you just check each others' backs to see if someone has taped a "Kick Me while I'm Down" sign on there?
Other South American and European countries have crappy regional pricing too but you lot regularly have 600%+ increases, it's insane!
Were you rude to the publishers' moms?
... and their Gran?
... and their Pets?
... Did you call their babies ugly?
... did you poop on their lawns?

I'm struggling to think why you lot regularly get a bigger kicking than anywhere else percentage-wise.
Does it include your local sales tax? Is that what boosts it to the stratosphere? Or is that tax on top of that price?

for Argentina they get an additional +65% on top of every price on steam ... so that INTI game is in fact almost $20 in Argentina ... so basically more expensive than Switzerland

for EU, though - tax is already included in the price

Argentina has been kicked in the proverbial nuts so hard it's not even funny. I'm not as familiar with SA but I've seen a bit of the history there and it's hard not to feel really sorry. The difference between the 70s and now is horrible.

That's a factor that I did not consider. I remember Ghostlight said they were porting games to Switch (turned out to be Fairy Fencer F and some other games) in 2018. Their twitter account is still active so I guess they are quietly working on something but not ready to announce yet.
