lol ... what eggscloosie

also the discussion below is hilarious ... (more in eggs thread )

Fighting games already struggle to keep a playerbase on PC. So we got a mediocre no name fighting game shadowdropping on EGS the same day as another EGS exclusive Journey which has an actual history and critical acclaim to back it up.

Amazing strategy Epic!

When you buy Shadowkeep you just get the expansion and preorder bonus. Nothing else.

Base Game (Free) = All Year 1 Destiny content

Shadowkeep ($35USD) = Shadowkeep + Preorder bonus

Year 2 Bundle ($40 according to stream) = Forsaken + Forsaken Annual Pass

There is no mention if Bungie will release a legendary edition for $60 containing everything up to Shadowkeep like they've been doing for years though. The reason why the Steam preorder says you get the base game is because you cant preorder DLC for a game you dont own, and since Destiny 2 isnt available on Steam yet, Bundling the DLC and the F2P package is the only way to let you preorder it.

but what about those 4 season passes? do they have literal season passes? so, winter season pass, fall season pass? if so, wow :P

TBH, I would rather have a 3D fighting game based on Godzilla. Something like Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters.

Ditto. Not my kind of thing tbh 😕
Please don't ban me 😥

Edit: actually nope, I forgot I have the OG Divinity's too, only missing Dragon Commander

I don't want to get banned either, but I want to stir the hornet's nest. :p

When I finally got a PC capable of playing games in 2001-2002, I bought Baldur's Gate 2 and Icewind Dale. Hated both of them. :p

No. They have a Annual Pass every year. Where they release a DLC every season. Shadowkeep will be the Fall DLC and the Shadowkeep annual pass will have a dlc in winter, spring and summer.

so this is a misquote?
If you order the Digital Deluxe Edition, you’ll get four Season Passes,
or do i get the last season passes and future ones?

They blocked me for explaining how basic functions of Steam work and how their nonsensical "reason" for going to EGS was factually false.
Apparently they're from Chile. Surprised that they are against key resellers, given how popular Steam and nuuvem is in South America.

Shadowkeep = 1 Season
Annual Pass = 3 Seasons

You get 4 Seasons (dlc) with the deluxe edition. The shadowkeep one, and the 3 in Winter 2020, Spring 2020, Summer 2020.

If you want the earlier seasons you have to buy Forsaken and the Forsaken Annual Pass which will be available in a $40 separate bundle

If you want every piece of content from the base game launch to September 2020. Consider waiting until the game launches on Steam and getting the Destiny 2 Complete (if it comes to PC)

Why bungie is calling their individual dlc’s season passes instead of just calling the Annual Pass a Season Pass is beyond me. Fucking ridiculous I know.

Oxygen Not Included is nice and cheap (45% off) if you own a Klei game

Destiny demo didn't work on bnet, for me at least, would be funny if it works on steam.
Gotta love Larian :steam_pigblanket:

Starcraft spinoffs have bad luck.

Overwatch 2 will probably launch with the next generation of consoles or shortly after.
As I told my friends back in highschool before D3/SC2 were things, and Warcraft was still an RTS, Diablo will get the FPS before the other two classic franchises do. I stand by this and they continue to give me strength with these kinds of announcements

I don't even want Overwatch 2 (though that comparison to Left 4 Dead is interesting), but the cancellation of yet another good idea by Blizzard doesn't sound out of the realm of possibility.

A "Battlefield" take on Starcraft is a fun idea, but I dunno if I want to jump into more horde mode shootey type games atm. Still sucks that means we won't get anymore Starcraft stuff for a damn long time. Sucks.

A shooter in the Starcraft universe is such a great fit and it's shame that it never happens. :disappointed-face:

On the other hand a new Overwatch is pretty exciting. I would really love to see some sort of fleshed out single player or co-op (preferably both) mode.

Anyway, how does it work?

Even if I buy Destiny 2 on Steam right now, I won't be able to play my B.Net version with the year 1 expansion, wouldn't I?
