Is Dragon's Dogma CPU-extensive game? My CPU is ony i5-6400, 1660Ti my GPU. Hopefully it will receive a price cut this sale.
I beat it on i5-3570/gtx970 without any issues (on 1080p though), also you can try SGSSAA

I should really give FFXIV another shot someday. I enjoyed my time with it but I've never been one for raiding., well these days at least.. it's a long story.
Raids are not very hard but if you want theres a more difficult version of every raid for more hardcore players. As someone who likes playing through every dungeon and raid at least once its good for me because I can solo queue and not have to worry all that much about sucking.

And I've never really had anyone to group with when I've played so I usually get a character to around 20 or 30 then stop.
I play the game alone and enjoy every minute I spend playing. Even though I do miss my old FC from 2015. After they disbanded no other FC I joined was able to fill that gap.

Wait a minute! I've been tricked!
Only Anime can provide the cute boys I desire >:3
Is the countdown in this website accurate?

Steam Sale Countdown | When is the next Steam Sale

It's literally midnight. :upside-down-face:
It says 3 hours and 17 minutes for me which is not right at all. The sale starts 2:30pm my time and its 8:15am right now.

Seems so, Steam usually updates at 19h00 here (GMT+1) and that's about 7 hours from now.

My countdown aligns with Milena's, which is gonna be 6 hours from now. Weird, but I expect it to be true. It usually starts at midnight here.

how about valve hire these guys to do Episode 3. This looks incredible.
It would not change anything. If valve would hire them, hl3 would come out 3 minutes before the sun eats our whole solar system before it perishes into nothingness.
Insert it has been 84 years dot dschiff.

Shouldn't druids be nerfed a bit in Underlords (or other units buffed)? A single three-star Enchantress took down four of my two-star units by itself and won the round after I had killed every other unit because it kept regenerating health at a ridiculous rate.

Thought about getting Enchanted Arms from the Xbox Marketplace, it's pretty much the last big JRPG from the last-gen I haven't played, but whoever is responsible for the price decided to save me time and just sells it like it's some brand new game. Waiting for a deep discount.

Druids can be used to secure a lot of early wins, but they usually fall off in the end game. Enchantress is a beast early game.

So, I looked back over my wishlist of 210 games. I was shocked to see what all I had put on it a year ago, but I was excited to see it nonetheless. I typically am strict about my wishlist and add a lot to it before a sale, but... do you ever feel proud of the quality of your wishlist? Maybe I’m super odd. As I browsed through it to prepare of the sale, I kept telling myself... “Damn, you have good taste.”

;)

My wishlist on Steam is effectively a set of nearly a thousand bookmarks of games i actually want to buy, games that have caught my eye or been recommended by others and i kinda like the look of. Compared to your Wishlist it's...

I usually look at it and tell myself "Damn, you have good... reason to cull a ton of these!"

I also had a wishlist of thousands of games until a year ago but after skipping a bunch of games on sale for a few cents for what was like the tenth time I just told myself “come on man you don’t really want these games if you’re not even willing to spend 90 cents” and trimmed it down to like 30 titles, moving all pre-releases to a secondary account and removing most of the rest. Now I’m back to a more manageable 150 games or so.

FWIW, there’s more than enough content with three full expansions now to keep you busy as a solo player.

I started back when the free Twitch copy was up, and I have yet to really interact with anyone that much. I joined an FC, but only because they advertise themselves as a “new player FC” and run an EXP bonus 24/7. I’m pretty sure FCs like that exist on every server probably. Since I’ve been around in the FC so long, the guild leader actually ended up making me an officer, so I activate the FC buffs myself and I do occasionally answer questions from noobs.

If you want to complete high-tier raids, people are friendly and it’s easy to find a group even outside an FC. And completing harder duties, even just for the sake of completion and story is pretty easy with the level unsync and party finder.

If you don’t have the time or inclination to pay the sub, don’t worry about it...but as a mostly solo player, it’s still been a pretty good “Final Fantasy” experience.

Unskippable adverts during loading screens so they can claw back some of the $1.1 billion dollars they recently paid for the license. I suspect the next NBA2K game is going to be beyond mobile levels of Whale Fishing and MTXs. I'm just glad i'm not a sports fan who has to put up with this crap just to play a game of a sport they love.

Yet the irony is that here i am on my every-other-year MMO Temptation phase with this year being me looking at FFXIV. I know nothing about MMOs so i always back away in the end though.

I keep my wishlist clean and go through it regularly, only games I'm honestly willing to spend money on go on there and if I lose interest they'll get deleted eventually. I also sort them, first unreleased titles by release date, then released titles by current interest and towards the end Early Access games. Oh and I usually don't put big AAA stuff on there, that'll be on the front page anyway when on sale.

(I do the same for BluRays, books and whatever else via separate wishlists on Amazon.)

Good scores and while there's a long list of cosmetic DLC to buy even before release I appreciate that Codemaster's F1 games haven't become NBA2K/FIFA-like shameless moneygraves with lootboxes and forced ads yet.

Best of all, they haven't fucked with regional pricing like all other AAA publishers. They easily have my support.
Hmm, is Toukiden 2 any good?
Koei Tecmo doing a sale might be a sign, or not... :thinking-blob:
See if this review helps
Playing Underlords on a mobile phone feels a bit off. Maybe it would be better on a faster phone.
Underlords is off feeling, no matter what phone. The actual Auto Chess plays so much better and the interface is 100x better than Underlords.

Thank you both for the info! I'm more of a solo player that likes to take their time these days so my interest is definitely piqued now! Not that I avoid all grouping but it's nice to be able to pick those moments myself when I'm in the mood for it.

I'll probably give it another chance sometime soon then. :)

Ha! That's fair and understandable. :cuteblob:

The idea of a world that's being devoured by an endless winter and tons of snow is pretty appealing right now. * Might wanna grab Banner Saga 2 and 3 and finish it

*compared to slowly burning under 30+ degrees of relentless heat
Try 48 degrees :ROFLMAO:

It's so hot here right now that I don't have to wait for DOOM's sequel. I'm living it already!

Will we have a separate Summer Sales thread?
Would be helpful, I think.

I mostly use my wishlist so that Steam can remind me that those games exist. And every once in a while I look at the titles and cancel the ones that turned out to be meh or outright bad.
I somehow still have Just Cause 4 on the list, though :thinking-blob:
Yep, this is exactly what I do too. I have fallen behind a bit and really should remove some before the sale starts.

So apparently 2K added unskippable actual commercials to their already mtx-ridden NBA game. Brilliant.

Ugh.. why? I'll probably still buy the stupid thing since I need my sports fix but I'm going to hold off until it's on sale this time at least.

I believe "the usual suspects" said that there won't be a topic specifically for the sales, but one for "hidden gems" and recommendations (Tizoc , where you the one who said that would do it?).

But, everyone is free to create topics, so you can always create a new one. ;)

It can, but like all combinations of different tracking universes I really wouldn't recommend it for general use.
There'll eventually be drift, and there are tons of "interesting" ways in which it can break.

Point is, they can work and modders can probably fix stuff with them.

Not like I can get them anyways, but it's cool to see.

When the Index controllers can get bought here, I assume the whole Index package can too and then I'll just ge the whole package.

I’m cleaning the ball and chain’s car and then helping her clean the house, so it will be a while before I sit down to check the sale. Enjoy it, friends.
I'm sure you won't miss anything, other than hours of website crashing, discounts not applying, and front pages not loading. ;)

I'm at work, so I'll only even attempt to buy anything tonight, in a few hours.
